  1. If assault bot dies, then you resummon it . I think its much more difficult keeping the weaker bots alive which is where twilight grasp comes in so handy. Its easier summoning one bot than 3-5

    And like Syn said, robot/dark shouldnt be having problems with most EBs.

    Last time I tried it on test it looked wacky but was working. I think its been fixed a long time ago.

    Afaik only sets to have fear resist for themselves are dark armor and ninjitsu(stalkers). Iirc only buffs to give fear res are clear mind, clarity and tactics.

In contrast, I take it the 'Status: Knockback x%' in the power description is how much KB is applied once you get a successful hit? It would be great to know more details

    Weasel forgot power thrust, which has 100% chance for KB just like power push.

    Yeah was good fun, a weekly arena night on test server sounds nice from now on, jsut have to make sure to get everybody on the first match.

    Also, if you crash, Ive noticed that sometimes observing the match gets you back into fighting.

    Imo, it will be less encouraging for people, especially if they dont have a set team levelled. A random team of 6 vs. 2 rad/psi (or 1 sonic), an illu/kin and empath and 2 ice/em vs. a randomly assembled team just isn't fair.

    Do you mean that pentad is more encouraging or what? Personally I'm least interested in pentad simply because I suck at it. And I only have one suitable AT basically for high-level pentad and building proper teams from available people and their characters feels more than impossible.. At least from defiant players.

    On union I have basically nothing, I dont count my 32 dominator as pvp character yet. So I cant participate on union fight nights.

    Its 0.26 per second or so.

    EDIT: on comparison, danger sense is 0.36 per second, ninja reflexes is 0.26 (the same). Superjump is 0.46 per second. You'd be better off basically slotting anything else for end redux. source: NOFUTURE

  9. 3 end redux in acrobatics is way overboard, whichever way you look at it. I use 1 on all my characters.

  11. Snipe is not about DPS, because it will always suck in that. Rather its about shooting from relatively safe distance. My own blaster doesnt have snipe, but hes been built for pvp a long time ago.

    Snipes don't suck as such. Rather its all about
    safety <-> damage and effectiveness.

    Some ATs are tilted to one side more than the other. Blasters are normally heavily for damage to the exclusion of safety, controllers for safety more than damage. etc.

    All of these things are USELESS in a 6-8 man team in PVE. Who cares if the mobs are recharging a little slower, they are all DEAD before it matters. Drain psyche? It has an insanely large to hit neg modifier, It seems to miss a LOT even 2 acc slotted. Granted shockwave is nice but in a large group not so nice when things die quick. Your contribution with this ONE power is minimal.

    All of these USELESS in a large group when everything dies within seconds, so what if you held 8 mobs, so what when they die quickly. As I said before, if you had to stand back and do nothing you would hardly even notice any difference in the outcome of the fight.

    None of it is useless, you just aren't perceiving the effects. Dominator makes the fights a lot safer, just like controllers in effect.

    I recommend stamina for poison masterminds. Also I dont think you need 3 recharge on the rez.

    Where as I think you would get a better idea playing the game and seeing how the sets work, not crunching out 10 minutes worth of hypothetical numbers. Blasters, Defenders and Controllers, are just not as simple as "run up and hit it and use the optimal pre-calculated attack chain for the best DPS", you really do have to approach them with a certain flexibility, or you'll spend a lot of time looking at the floor from very close up, particularly with Blasters.

    I couldnt care less if someone has bothered to copy Hos over or not. They cant have other types of HOs they have on live anyway. I just want this on test so we can play against and with the unionites.

    Bad player with full HOs will still be a bad player

    Make sure you try it on villainous difficulty setting if youre unsure.
    Buy as many defense insps as you can. When the hero comes, switch off defense shields to save endurance.
    - pop 4 def insps at once. AS the hero.
    - Hit couple times, wait for AS to recharge and stop attacking for hide to kick in, AS the hero.
    - Hit couple times, wait for AS to recharge and stop attacking for hide to kick in, AS the hero.
    Repeat until def insp icons start to blink, pop next 4 def insps at once.
    Repeat ASing until hero is dead and finish the rest of the guards.

    I reckon it should be doable. Damn, I dont even remember how many insp slots you have at lvl 11 o.O

  23. I may have to explain my above comment about ditching leaping pool because I doubt many people understood what I meant. Nin has no knockback protection which could be a problem in pvp. More importantly, fly has inertia in it that makes flying ASing in pvp zones very difficult. Originally I was going to get just combat jumping to help with this, as it removes the inertia from fly when used at the same time, however, after trying out fully speedslotted hover I realized I can use hover instead and forget leaping completely. I now have buttons bound to the power on my numpad that allow me to switch quickly between fly and hover when im approaching my target. For knockback protection fly does a decent job on its own even if its not 'protection' per se.
