btw Id be all for complete revamp of pvp as long as it would indeed be complete. So far devs tend to do things small pieces at a time though... with months in between.

You cant kill a caged player. Confused player is pretty helpless to any punishment. Personally this sounds a tad overpowered on first look, but difficult to say for sure. I assume confuse suppression should be on way soon.
Im especially worried about lack of confuse protection in selfpowers, I think theres only few buffs heroside that give that. I believe most melee toons have very good prot against holds but not so against confuse.. Now that it has 100% guaranteed effect it becomes scary.
Although Ive been away from game so what do I know.

a Lot. Seeing as the power recharged in about <10 secs iirc.. At least the power boost nerf helps confuse victims here a bit.
I find all this... interesting. As I happen to own a mind/energy dominator I didnt bother to level all the way before I left.
ps. Tactics offers confuse resistance, not protection.
pps. Two confuses with domination stack over one clear mind or clarity according to city of data. -
"Powered suit" hero(or villain) is pretty much a stereotype by now. Even in marvel comics who own Iron Man there have been more than I can count over the decades. In the comics one of the first enemies of Iron man was soviet "Titanium man" who used, you guessed it, powered armor. Just my two cents.

I agree on one thing here: acrobatics should not have repel resistance added to it. Removing repel completely out of TK is stupid also (That would still leave force buble and hurricane and hurri sucks already in repel). I suppose the breakfree change would be best change out of the ones posted here. 2 bfs to counteract.

doesnt make wasted weeks come back or that another powerset becomes pointless. I would rather have people having even chance at PVP regardless of their toon or sets. And that skill was more of an issue instead of arms race with IOs.

Power Push and Power Thrust in your powersets. More than enough to juggle someone - that'd be usefull, no?

Those are both undamaging powers. The secondary effect in the actual attacks in the set are still useless. Besides power thrust had its uses already. Im not interested in wasting a slot getting power push since power blast is lacking in damage already. -

You thought wrong, only thing that limits it is the perception range of the TKer. TK itself does not shut down due to range. THe range enhancements that you can put on it only affect the range it can be switched ON. After its on it has essentially unlimited range.

ok as a lover of tk and as some 1 who uses it all the time in pvp you CAN out run it you can also phase out of its effects but if you still in range when you stop phase tk will still be on you. You can be tp away from it and eating break frees get you out of it.
If you hibernate i can put tk onto you so as that as soon as you come out of hibernat you will be tk'd.
Personaly if they reduce the no of bf you use not a probelm for me but if they get rid of the push back well lets say thats the end of my dom as far as pvp goes.It,s not as if I'm not easy to kill. So I extract the maximum fun out of this toon which is the tk.

Same thoughts with my dom... TK is almost the only reason I had why I rolled a mind/ dom, if not I would have gone other primary...
And changing this, after more of a year playing it (that toon i mean) is painfull... thinking in the time/inf invested is just lot of pain.
PS: Still I agree with the reduced number of BFs as a solution.

Yea no IO sets are required if you want to PVP ok. You might want to revise that opinion if you play against fully IOed characters and want to win though.

Well as far as my understanding was, Acrobatics KB protection was widely considered an issue for ages, giving far too much than it's original intention was.
I can't give you a source for this, I was told it quite some time ago somewhere here where I raised some suprise that Power Thrust was able to KB through my Elec Brutes Grounded. The info and feedback I had back was that Acrobatics wasnt's really an appropriate comparison as it was giving more KB protection than intended.
No on that basis, it's not really a nerf no? More a timely correction lol.
Also, right, well if you're not happy that you could use about 2 enhancement slots to IO build the sameish KB protection that acro will offer and thus be able to free up a power choice not sure what will be satisfying for you tbh.
It's not like the KB pieces are hard to come by. I must be swimming in low level pieces from various alts just getting them off missions.

I have never, ever been satisfied with IO sets being 'required'. That is far too much WOW to me.
I am well aware of the acrobatics giving buggedly high protection for years now. However the entire pvp has revolved around that fact since I4 so I cant even begin to imagine everything these changes affect. -

I am talking about getting out of pinned position against corners which is the typical use in close maps.Getting out of TK range shuts the toggle down.

Like I said, it doesnt negate TK. Due to bug you can get rubberbanded right back where you were. -

My concern is mainly making the power completely useless in pvp as a "solution".. So its too good? ok, do the devs have to nerf it to a wasted slot? TKs only uses were in pvp, in PVE its end cost is too high to be of any use already. COH is FULL of powers that are equally powerful as TK in another sense. Why must everything be so black and white? Uber or useless?
To the devs: so hold in TK still works in PVP huh? Did you know that it suppresses for 10 SECONDS immediately after the TKd target takes damage? -

No, because changes enlarge the gap between sets. This is why I said new defiance makes fotms even more fotms. It is balanced only if you have identical characters. -
