    Why not change it to total focus damage, which already does 100% chance of stun and with higher magnitude than clobber. Everybody knows how much damage total focus does.. (and this in addition to EM ALSO having stun which is identical with clobber)

    ps. I make a point not to call nerfs on EM but Mace still needs buffing. Its (and Axes) unbalance compared to other sets is unjustifiable.

    Mace has essentially one single target disorient attack that does zip damage and with recharge of 20 secs. No offense but thats not enough to promote mace's disorient aspect. I wouldnt call Mace disorienting set. Energy melee for instance basically has at least double as much disorient. Yet I see no one calling EM a 'disorient set'. The other mace attacks have far too low chance of disorient to be of value.

    chance values:
    clobber=100%
    bash= 10%
    pulverize=20%
    whirling mace=30% and thats it.

    Compare to energy melee:
    energy punch = 30%
    bonesmasher =60%
    stun=100%
    total focus= 100%
    whirling hands=30%

    With those numbers anyone calling mace a comparable 'disorient set' is blind.

    You can practise and test in arena what works against what. Particularly how well you can stealth for instance.

    Remember if you are getting hit with -recharge attacks like ice or psi, your recharge is getting worse and brawler will more likely fail..

    And for the record too, i do enjoy a good pvp session now and again. Had a great one with a scrapper in Warburg the other day. And i guess one fo the details is with the guy i'm on about in RV, takes me down in 3 moves, whihc is done in about 7 seconds

    7 seconds for 3 moves? well he's not energy melee then..

    Then again seeing that you are a stalker, there is at least a possibility of taking him down in 2 hits

    Well in my opinion team pvp is much more out of balance than 1v1.. Take the test server fight nights for instance, usual situation would be that the other team ended up dominating the other even if the teams were done at the spot for each fight differently by experienced PVPers.. When I do 1v1 PVP I at least know my limits and I know what I can do and I know when I have no chance. As a rule of thumb for instance a team without support toons has about 0.001% chance against a team with support toons, given relatively equal fighting skills. Such reliance on the team makeup is pretty much same as reliance in the character powersets and build of a single toon in 1v1.

    That said, I love how pvp is created in this game, balance however remains elusive and sometimes I get annoyed at constant promotion of team pvp. Its hard enough to get enough people to even form a bloody team.

    None of the tanker epics are 'essential' to any build imo. Energy gives focused accuracy for pvp and conserve power to those who'd need it (I don't know who would). Fire ball is a bit extra for herding and aggrograbbing and all other pools than energy also give you a ST hold which is ok against certain individual enemies like sappers.

    a.) If you can prove that he is going specifically after you personally with the intention of griefing then you can petition, with chat logs for instance. Iirc that used to be pretty much the only type of behaviour petitionable in a pvp zone, but normally a lot different behaviour is allowed in a pvp zone than in a normal one.

    Would make me attack you as well. Those who do not attack you are just other farmers. Thats all there is to it - there is no excuse to avoid pvp in a pvp zone. Stat. Personally I hate farmers who refuse to fight, and I hate RV as it is.

    edit: swearing and verbal harassment is always petitionable though.

    Pop break free when you see the animation start. That way you wont be stunned even if it hits.

    That said, blaster vs blaster match is often like "sudden death" fighting and requires good reflexes Very enjoyable too.

    It's not so much that it does nothing. It's just unnecessary.

    Elude on its own provides a base 45% Defbuff which puts you at the 95% defence soft cap (you already have a base 50%). Slotting extra defbuff into Elude only has an effect if you get hit by a -def effect. The thing is, alot of SR scrappers don't turn off their toggles when Elude is on. The toggles (and elude for that matter) give resistance to -def effects which makes the extra defence slotting in Elude unnecessary. With Elude, passives and toggles stacking SR gets waaay over the soft cap.

    Before anyone else gives a nasty response: the insp use is obviously nonrestricted. As with all proper arena fights.

  18. Im fairly certain that the set bonuses don't carry over between forms, unless someone has other info?

    Is there in general good and exhaustive info about how the set bonuses stack? I hear that same %-bonus (like +12% something) will stack only up to 5 times.

    I use my stealth bind which automatically detoggles invis. You could of course use same bind as you use to trigger invis.

    You can also get invisibility from stealth pool to stack with hide for even better protection, but you must switch it off to attack.

    Which is why I dont like those set bonuses at all, since the primary target for those sets would often be a toggle.

    I have already improved some of my stats by putting a lvl 50 generic IO over a lvl 53 SO.
