Well 3 different 50s is still a different story than just requiring one.. Its like the rules are made out from the presumption of everyone having unlimited amount of lvl 50 characters. Personally I wouldnt participate even if I had that third since rules would force me to play my tank which is not an option.

Well I see your point, but I think we're not on the same wavelength here.. My worry was not having enough 50s in the first place.. let alone any toons good in pvp.. Thats what I meant by being exclusionary. Requiring ONE lvl 50 is ruling out 95% of server population already.

When I was in defiant PD there was quite enough of talk about this tourney being meant for "fotm PLers".
But Ill lessen my statement somewhat cause characters dont actually need to be 50, but trying with less than lvl 44
would propably be pointless.

This format is a nice idea overall but.. its just too restrictive in practise. Honestly my first thought was that this was meant for the small ring of Union PLers only.

Sorry for sounding harsh but thats the only way I can put this.

ps. I agree with Stalk, in that melee-toon only participant would propably be badly beaten looking at the possible list of participants. Also give some leeway to melee players like KS. If youre that afraid of draws and matches being dragged too long, just include a rule that if 3 (or 2) consecutive matches end in draws, then the matchup is drawn and you do something to the tournament chart to accommodate this.

Well I hope there would be some place to get rare salvage as its more valuable than recipes atm and you can choose recipes as TF rewards but not salvage..

I agree that Sirens would be little bit too farmable.. But it should retain good rewards still.

sure it does, if the GMs receive 100s of petitions from lots of people then they wont be able to ignore them. They do work albeit a lot slower than we would like, mainly as they have to go through the chat logs.

Actually even a single case thats bad enough will propably yield 48-hour ban off the bat. (example: Xanthus and his notorious dutch chat binds in a base raid I was part in.. Yes this also means that you arent safe by insults or bad language in other languages either..)

Because petitioners wont be told of the bans being handed out makes people think that GMs arent doing anything. Thats not the case.

Oh I keep humour up in PVP zones, and im pretty resilient when it comes to trashtalking. Especially when Im the one doing the killing [link removed, Bridger].

Several times Ive ASed people in sirens who were 'pveing' in there, and I think I've seen most of the english vocabulary in the process. Once I managed to AS someone just entering mission map. Was extra funny seeing him slide under the door on their stomach..

However I do get uneasy when there are people shouting at other people. Usually its best to not try to defend anyone, it will just double the fight. Just keep quiet and carry on what you are doing.

Its just I get the impression some feel that "counteracting" or "negatinge" the -recharge penalty somehow invalidates the recharge penalty - i.e. there is no "penalty" for being in Granite form. In fact, to my mind, there is - because with those same bonuses and NOT being in granite form you will end up with a +recharge buff.

I think you need to give your thoughts a bit of spring-cleaning. Nobody said there arent penalties in Granite. We were talking about counteracting them. That doesnt make the penalty go away, its still there, its just neutralized..

I never quite get this logic of we can "Overcome" or "negate" the penalties of Granite. If you have, say, +50% recharge buff, then in Granite you end up with a -15% recharge, in non granite a +50% buff. And unless you are at recharge cap, more recharge buff is good.

They do both, tool tip inaccurately lists them as fifteen minutes but they actually last well over that. I wasn't timing them but around 45mins to an hour is probably accurate.

If you slot for instance dull pain, the buff will be active 120 seconds from the moment you activate dull pain (click it). If you slot it to health, the buff is always active. (should you have for instance regen scrapper and slot it to a toggle like integration, the buff would be active while the toggle is active.)

This is a recurring theme I think. Getting recipes is not hard but rare salvage needed for basically each of the set IO recipes is worth more than its weight in gold. On my blaster im getting filled of recipes but I basically cant craft any of them.

I enjoy pvp, and like londoner said, i keep geting killed by one manic pvp'r. I still want to go into RV to do pvp now and again, but the experience is like aggitating. And i don't want to be 'forced out' of the zone by just one player. Seveal time now recently, as soon as she's on the zone, i get killed, i give up and leave.

a.) grinding xp/inf/prestige in RV is not forbidden
b.) attacking grinders is not forbidden, PVP zones are supposed to be dangerous places, to justify the good rewards.
c.) moaning about getting killed in a pvp zone will not earn you points.. Trust us, we keep hearing quite enough of it. If you want to continue grinding in RV team up. Or if you think RV is too tough for you grind newspaper missions.

The moderators decide upon whether disciplinary actions are needed. These are usually invisible to the ones who petitioned as its done hush-hush. Even in the harshest singular cases I know of so far this has been maybe 24-48 hour account ban I think. So nothing groundbreaking. There is one person in eu who was said to have received permanent account ban but that was after about a years worth of infringements, and I dont really have factual evidence thats really what happened. (you know who im talking about) He is still with us anyway, but with apparently different account.

edit: as far as I know, so far the account bans have only been awarded from violating chat rules, ie. bad language, or exploiting bugs/glitches. I dont know of a case where someone has been actually punished for just picking on someone without verbal abuse in the equation.
