Oh and I did mention that I cant get there without tough.
[/ QUOTE ]
This is true, or at least was before IOs. Im not sure if it has changed since then. Personally my invul tank has never had tough and still doesnt. -

to be honest you just dont sound very good at tanking.....
edit: no offense
[/ QUOTE ]
For the record I've been a Tanker since the day the game started in the USA. I'm one of the best Tankers in the game.
[/ QUOTE ]
You certainly dont sound like one. -
Id rather get superjump than superspeed to be honest.

holds drop BG mode
[/ QUOTE ]
No they dont. The MM is just unable to switch between modes. -
Tp foe is about the only chance for stalker, or if he doesnt have aid self or other self heal there might be a chance to slowly wither his hp away. But that would require use of a 9th tier power, defensebased ones are best. If he has a selfheal chances of beating him in a 1v1 are next to nil. If its in a pvp zone, you could get warburg nukes and shivans to help though. the buff nuke is great. A good MM should be able to survive it though.

I could fancy respeccing some alt of mine to group fly. I have grown bored of the min-maxed characters nowadays and I'd like to make some characters for fun and concept.
-
The rent was changed some time ago so that it became dependent on plot size of base and nothing else. The smallest (starting) plot doesnt have any rent whatsoever. So I suspect something has been bugged during the patch, if your SG dates back that far.
I hope petition helps, and if it doesnt, I dont know if leaving SG and making a new one would be an option. -

Reward = NO
Ladder = NO
They can start giving these things out when they balance out builds so that PvP isnt simply a "who has the most PvP build" contest.
When was the last time you saw a fire blaster in PvP?
[/ QUOTE ]
Is this a trick question? -
[ QUOTE ]
I'm sure a lot of /cold builds etc debuff right down to base value
[/ QUOTE ]
I heard Serophinas sonic/cold corr two-hits the opponent to the -recharge cap. I dont even know what that cap is so I cannot comment(Although Ive dueled the aforementioned corrupter and I would be willing to accept the statement, heh)
-
Iirc superspeed hits the speed cap with 2 green SOs (or is at least very close to it) so theres one slot too many there I think. Same goes for fly, 2 speed is enough. 3rd for end redux if you want.
As for other opinions,
Fire sword circle is great imo, worth 6 slots.
Get snow storm instead of flash freeze, its more useful in my opinion.
I wouldnt slot frozen armor for resistance, as its only for one damage type (cold) essentially.
Id always slot build up for 3 recharge first. The end redux is particularly useless there.
Well.. I would always put 3 damage in the attacks if they are meant for doing damage.. Going for some IO sets would also be good.
Propably more to say but enough for now. -
While the positive buffs are significant I think the debuffing sets are still quite good. Ice, rad, cold, mmm what else

It takes a long while to get and you will die a lot, but as you don't lose rep from dying, it's not that bad.
[/ QUOTE ]
Dying does have one weak point, it ALSO triggers rep suppression. Ie. if a stalker defeats you, then defeating him in return wont earn you rep until after the 10 minutes.. And what if the opponents are in team as well.. I wonder does it suppress for the entire team again..
Personally I hate the way devs have made rep system right now. Devs should at least reduce the decay a lot. -
I take this moment to point out that due to the new changes and lack of people at the zones, Captain Skyfires reputation is now 0.0.
I did solo the 400 rep badge long ago. Now there are two blatant problems.
1.) the current system punishes teaming in pvp zones SEVERELY. Well, it always did.
2.) There arent enough people to fight in the zones on Defiant. -
Solo in the pvp zones, and keep it constant for a while. Thats my advice. If you cannot solo, try to keep the team as small as possible.

ThatÂ’s just one good example but my point is enhancing the powers comes first and try and work your bonuses round that.
[/ QUOTE ]
Agreed. -
Thankfully they are at least looking at the issue.. Will be two lvls until Im finally able to slot the damn thing. Would have been a major letdown if it had been bugged then..

Fear was changed i seem to remember where regardless of fear strength once your attacked your opponent has 1 attack before they become feared again... Or they can run.
[/ QUOTE ]
Still there, but sometimes it doesnt seem to work for some reason. -
[ QUOTE ]
And those procs are about as reliable as dropping an important toggle.
[/ QUOTE ]
Proc chance of one mez is 20% per hit, which is actually pretty nice, however due to the weak magnitude one hit doesnt take you anywhere. And if you need procs to stack the percentages drop to useless levels. (Im pretty sure the duration isnt anything to celebrate either) -
[ QUOTE ]
Well yes, for the maneuvers part I was told it's much more useful than assault. Mainly because you can put a LotG: +rechg in it.
I guess you're right about the tactics / SJ part and I'll swap them around.
The thing about the fear / tactics / cobra is that I can only fit a combo of 2 of those. To fit all of those would mean [1] no stamina [2] only one travel power.
And as it is, my primary doesnt have fear unlike DM.
Anyways, I want cobra for the stun because the animation is much much faster than eagle's.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well ok if you use it for the LOTG recharge then its a different matter. Although you could spare an extra slot in combat jumping and slot it there. (at least it used to take def enhancements, not sure if it was recently changed.)
As for fear, you dont really need it. Stuns, yes they are nice but cobra strike does nil damage, so eagles claw is better imo. Regen could go without stamina a bit although I have it myself and am very happy about the state of my endurance with both quick recovery and stmaina.
My personal opinion: 2nd travel power and stamina in the build is much more versatile and reliable (and most importantly: more fun to play). If you havent played your character to those levels yet, I suggest you go with two travel powers, and respec in special stuff like intimidate/tactics/cobra strike if you think you need them. -
To be honest I would swap maneuvers(swap it to assault) and tactiss for combat jumping + superjump for sirens call levels. You will be absolutely crippled in sirens call without a vertical travel power. You would need external help for enough perception regardless, a single tactics wouldnt do the trick.
The main focus of /regen will be in dull pain, reconstruction and instant healing along with increasing your base regen. Optimize their recharge, +HP and heal with set bonuses. MOG you could even skip if you want to go for a full PVP build, as its definitely the weakest of all last-tier powers, even more so in PVP. In zone pvp you might have little use for it (to go thru a /FF masterminds force bubble for example)
Cobra strike I'd say is nice to have but by no means a necessity since martial art attacks (especially eagles claw) already have very nice disorient in them, enough to trouble non-melee toons even without cobra strike. -
[ QUOTE ]
The reason why acro has such insane kb protection is because it is relative to the endurance cost, considering it gives only mag 1 (I think) hold protection so it is very, very easily detoggled by anyone with a hold that can stack or any type of mez which doesn't have to.
You get immunity to knockback but it comes at a price, and it is not as well rounded as proper mez protections like /regen's Integration for example. If any of my toons with Acro got KBed then it isn't really worth the end cost for what you get, especially with the introduction of KB Rez IOs.
[/ QUOTE ]
Acro has actually pretty cheap end cost, for some reason opposed to what people think. I consider it as one of the cheapest (cheapest that I know being combat jumping). I suspect some of the confusion may stem from Nofuture where people dont pay attention to the activation time as well as the end cost.
ps. Its end cost is 0.26 per second
lots of toggles activate time is 0.5 secs but acro is 1 sec..
Example: Integration is 0.13 per 0.5 second, so acro and integration cost as much end.
EDIT: damn, stalko already said this.. -
Yes, acro is, for all practical purposes, immune to knockback. It has so high KB prot it might as well be a bug. I think its current value is higher than devs intended but they have left it as is regardless.
Other anti-KB powers arent nearly as good. For instance elec brutes Grounded is not enough to protect from /EM blasters power thrust KB. -

1) How do I move an existing room? Everytime I select "Move room" and choose a valid (blue highlighted) location, the move fails. Do I need to remove all items in the room to move it?
[/ QUOTE ]
Basically thats the right way, but there are few things to worry about.
1a. All rooms must be connected after the move
1b. Sometimes theres a small item in front of the doorway, which will prevent placing the room because there are pretty hard restrictions about placing items in front of doorways.
You CAN move rooms with stuff inside them. It may just be difficult to see the item thats blocking something. Try piling the items in center of room before moving, or at least away from the wall that will be the new doorway.

2) How can I enhance the healing properties of reclamators? Having to rest *after* I've been defeated is a pain so I'd like to get them up to 100% HP recovery if possible.
[/ QUOTE ]
The second SG healing badge will unlock an item that buffs the reclaimator HP to half instead of quarter iirc. The first SG healing badge will unlock autodoc/tree of wonders which sells respites and catch of breaths. Buying those will help character to get back to shape quickly. The base reclaimators are slightly weak because of PVP reasons (base raids)
[ QUOTE ]
3) Are there any unlockable items? I've seen some bases with things like gun cabinets and similar details. How are these obtained, and is there somewhere I can view a list of the unlockables and how they're obtained?
[/ QUOTE ]
There are both items that are unlocked by supergroup badges, and there are some decorative items which are veteran rewards. The gun cabinets are a veteran reward. Veteran rewards unlock only deco items though.
Supergroup badges are unlocked by having members do something in supergroup mode.
EDIT: supergroup badges
veteran badges
