Talking in general -
Personally I don't think stalkers are broken, but I still think we should remove the one-shot ability. Just amp up their survivability a notch so that they can have a fight even after they've As'ed and didnt kill opponent outright. (I have to admit I'm not sure what exactly is their survivability these days.)
It can't be that bad though.. Yesterday I was in Sirens call in TG's group (thanks for that, Tainted btw) and this one stalker taunted us by standing next to us while his "PVP on"-meter counted down. When it ran out, the stalker just vanished in front of our noses and we couldnt do anything about it.. That is so totally cool.
Imo stalkers are a cool concept and I like having them in the game. -

Slight disagreement here, im playing PvE with my lvl 23 blaster, and while BU is godly, I dont have Aim yet. I dont see myself in any way gimped in PvE though.

Bonesmasher is by far the best PvP attack from enery melee. Much better than total focus.
1 of the best PvP (maybe also PvE) attack chains in the game is:
nrg punch -> power thrust -> bonesmasher.
In both PvE and PvP, I think energy punch and bonesmasher are must take powers.

Movement is what keeps you alive in PvP. This guy can kill all except tanks and brutes in less than 5 seconds. Prolly closer to 3.

Im fairly certain that at least an En/en blaster can kill a tank without unstop or granite in less than 10 seconds. ....maybe minus dull pain as well- but stunning without breakfrees takes care of DP. And somebody said ice is even more damaging?

I have a hunch that these badges may not have been always working as they were meant to be, but I tend to agree on the "total earnt" part.
I know for a fact I got the sensation badge the moment my inf account dinged 10 million inf (at the same time). But that was long time ago and they might have been bugged then.
On comparison I know I have never had 50 mil inf at the same time and I do have superstar badge(50 mil inf badge).
AND for some reason, I got trendsetter (100 mil inf) some time ago immediately after logging into the game, not when I was earning inf.. That made me raise an eyebrow and wonder. -

I'm a badge [censored]. Theres 3 epic badges for earning influence that I eventually wanna get. To do this i need to stay out of SG mode as theres no inf game while in SG mode for a level 50.
I also want to contribute to my sg tho and hence need to convert inf. However, I want the ungratefull buggers to know that i'm still actually pulling my weight and hence was wondering if converted inf shows up in your prestige total..

btw.. I was under the impression that the inf badges come from owning x amount inf at the same time, not the total amount earned.. If that's the case you have even less reason to convert inf.. -
Good question.. I wonder if anyone knows.. Cause for the death of me I cant imagine why anyone would want to convert influence to prestige..

I personally don't think it's a matter of over/under powered. I think that many people just don't like the playstyle of the stalker (no offense to the players). I think people don't like being beaten in a manner that doesn't allow them to put up any kind of fight.

I agree. I think the point is not whether stalkers are good/bad/overpowered in PvP; the point is whether they reduce the fun of other AT-players. And this is kinda hard to dispute.
Besides, Im not sure if the devs have blatantly stated the oneshotting will be removed - "its being worked on" is more accurate statement imo. States said in this thread a moment ago "this is something we'd like to have" (removing oneshotting). -
I stopped playing my dominator for a while cause I feel he's underpowered(mind/en) in both holding and damage.. But he's only lvl 12. I had big hopes in regards of dominators in general but..
I hope this is either a case of dominators blooming late or that devs made cov characters weak at the start so they could buff them upcoming issues instead of nerf.. -

Wasn't there a second mito-spawn point when Hami is at 25% life? Not that Ive actually ever seen it in action, its a make or break on 50% mark anyway.
On another note, im slightly disappointed not seeing the holdless strategy in the works yet. But that can be discussed elsewhere. -

Yes, but you will need to build telepads from salvage a second time, as selling telepads means the salvage used to build them is lost. -

Beacons arent crafted items and simply give back the prestige and go to your edit base menu if you sell them. You can put them back with no fuss.
One small teleporter room can only manage 2 telepads and 4 beacons btw. -

Or a "secure" version of a room like secure generator room, secure control room etc. These cost more than you can possibly imagine. Plus the plot gives HUGE restrictions to how many defensive items you can have anyway. -

My way is that i dont bother to petition anyone - at least so far havent had to - I use ignore and pretend that such persons don't exist. Peace of mind.

Has anyone actually given thought to the holdless strategy? Not only does it sound feasible, it should also be a lot less boring.

I have no qualms about stalkers, even when im there alone. Then again, im a tank. Sometimes I just stand there for fun and let them come scratch my back. Not that I have much chance of taking them down either.
I have to admit i dont have spent that much time in PvP zones, mainly cause i consider PvP dull. Maybe I havent met the bad stalkers. I was really excited about open-zone PVP at first, but have been severely disappointed about it afterwards. -
It all depends if you plan to attack someone on occasion and what your secondary is. I use war mace which sucks various bodyparts so I may be biased in this case. I cant imagine not having end reducers on my toggles. One in each is a base for me. I personally have one end reducer in each toggle and one in each of my attacks and i have 4-slotted stamina.
I also dont think highly of fighting pool, other pools give more variety and versatility in my opinion. I once tested 6-slotted invoke panic as a crowd control tool, it worked ok, btw. Now i can't squeeze it in. -

This part is the problem. The bases currently are as bugged as an ant nest. I and some others have had trouble with this. Goonies base has had 4 telepads deleted so far cause the dragging didnt work. -

I agree that Masterminds(their pets, duh) can tank in PvE. Even robots, who can be forced to close combat by using GoTo command. This is good.
When I was playing mastermind in beta i had a GoTo-button bound for every one of my robots. I could finetune the formation perfectly.Nice.
