I should be online tonight as Pyrius testing a new build - bug me for an invite.
global handle is @Reverant -
In my experience it tends to happen mainly in Atlas Park, when I roll a new toon, I head south to the red zone and plow my way up the levels and just ignore the broadcast channel.
Once you get to lv 5 head to the Hollows and get up to lv 8, then you can pop into perez for a bit of quiet hunting.
Then I normally alternate between missions and hunting normally in hollows, kings row and perez.
Getting a bit annoyed with the increasing number of lv 50s who hang round atlas to show off their powers to the newbies. If they're just there to chat why don't they hang out in PI? -
gratz Rad, looking forward to meeting Lampshade
-
I like it!
Looks like Doulos has some competition for the title of creative genius -
can you let us in on why today's attempt wasn't successful?
-
hmmm now this is what would make the arena more interesting - tried to convince the mods to set up a blaster PvP at the ComicCon and so they set up a tanker free for all with Deluge in the middle - was very boring watching 5 tanks stand toe to toe and bash several buttons.
Blaster vs Blaster will be more interesting.
Del - make sure that you film the matches -

10pm start is a bit late for non-uk persons. Considering you need a good 3-4 hours for Hess and Citadel is even longer?
Anyways Raylin missed Citadel so depending on if I want to be a zombie sunday she may actually show up
G-Force

Did Hess before in 2 hrs with a kinetics def, couple of 'trollers and a few tanks to take the aggrobuffs, holds, lots of wolves + fulcrum shift = mucho pwnage
could prob do it in half the time with teamspeak. -
hmm, I can use my controller to help - got recall friend, flight, group invis - not sure if I'll still have when exampt'd, you know how to find me

only because it doesn't do what you thought it did and that was after I told you how it works
and because you didn't test on the test server like I told you to -
Muh hu hahaha!!!
I'm back!(thx to Max for the reinvite to the SG - finally got my [censored] back onto CoV - CoH has gotten soooo repetitive
)
Looking forward to bumping into some of my old E.V.I.L. chums from beta. -
Another tactic you may want to test:
From Cycloid on the Liberty server

All the Warburg nukes work fine in the Hive. My impressions of the test are as follows:
Biological: Offers a really useful health regeneration boost and a fair damage buff as well. With one, I was able to tank a Thorn without my health bar budging significantly and do respectable damage to it. It lasts, as I am sure you all noticed, a pretty long time (5 mins?). This will come in handy for buffing the taunter or taunters holding Hamidon's aggro while everyone tries to get him held, and will mean fewer full-timers such as Empathy defenders need be tasked with this. Using one on the tight group just before entering the "goo" would probably be wise as well.
Chemical: The debuff was noticeable, and will be most useful for letting non-debuffers help to keep Hamidon's defenses floored. Worth having as part of a "burst damage" phase against Hamidon himself.
Nuclear: Probably the least valuable of the three to this effort, as Hamidon's Hamidon-ness means the "Extreme" DOT will not be especially extreme (2 per tick, perhaps? 3?). Still, they will help and are best saved as the second part of a one-two punch against the big H when fast damage is important.
I'd recommend that everyone use the Vanguard accolade shortly before he hits 20% health and then go for broke with high-damage moves, up to and including the nukes. If there's trouble dropping his health when he's held earlier on, some of the debuff ones could be used at that time.
It can only benefit things if as many people as possible do bring the missiles with them, and then it will require some skillful personnel management to make sure the right number of each type are deployed at the right time. I'll be in Warburg at gathering time to assist anyone who wants to get them as best I can.
Hope to see you all there and in the Hive!

The raid on liberty is planned tonight and they're about 5 hrs? behind us? so check the Liberty pages tomorrow for the results of their nuke on hami. -
yeah he was a brillant scientist and eco-terrorist, accidentically turned him self into a sentient blob of jelly and the arc is about you saving his girlfriend from the DE - he sends her love letters to draw her into a trap so he can turn her into a DE and procreate. Hence why you end up fighting the Terra AV. Interesting story but don't remember it giving any clues to how you can beat him.

I had a scout around on the test server last night, respecced Pyrius into a scouting build - maxed out slots on swift, sprint, SS, invis, hasten and phase shift. As long as I was moving the GMs left me alone, if I stood too close to them for too long they saw me and started attacking but I would just Phase shift and zip on - man I could move fast.
The GM walls are definitely interesting and there is a clear and contrived ground route to hami. I had a look in the small woods and couldn't find anything though the GMs round there do seem quite attached to them.
My gut feeling is there should be a contact like the woodsman that tells you what to do to start the process to beat hami and that it should be close to the entrance to the hive.
Would be very interested to hear if anything happens when you destroy the GM walls.
I would join you all tonight but got dinner with the GF -
anything/En really
prob Ice/En will be the quickest attacks -

Hating the cartoon is understandable, but the game rocks, both Digitiser and Gamecentral said so.

I'm only allowed 1 Defender, right?

Well?

I dunno, anyone would think this is my idea! personally I'd go for one of each AT but thats me and my "pokemon" mentality but if you want to do defenders then thats your choice! I'm all for everyone doing what they want in a democracy... I'm currently wallowing in guilt for creating the Radrangers and the Alt Rangers, and the Union Overlords and naming the SNHS and not understanding coalition chat... and I think you'll find ED was my fault too somehow.

Don't stress yourself! Play Pokemon, that'll confuse you!
