    No, IMO this game supports Nvidia the best. I mean there is a reason you see the Nvidia logo in the load screens

    1) The Lag is no doubt your fault to some degree, what kind of system you running?

    2) Raising the level cap may be good for some games, but, not CoX. It would break too much stuff. This games built around alts or haven't you noticed the 36 slot per server?

    IMO we need more slots I'm pretty much full on two accounts

    It was partially fixed, now they just leave the area while its burning. Before they would avoid the spot even after the fire burned out.

    The only remaining thing to fix is keeping them in the fire while its burning. I'm sure it has to do with critters being set to run from all damage patches.

    I honestly prefer this bug to the potential bug of all pets not leaving damage patches and dying where they stand.
  5. It comes down to the pets not the matter of alkaloid being awful. Alone Thugs survive much better than Mercs, poison while powerful doesn't have much mitigation. Both mercs and thugs are heavy on the AoE so they get aggro very easily.

    Having a Merc/Pain I can tell you they needed every bit of heal I could output. However my Thug/Poison does just fine keeping his pets alive with just alkaloid. A Thug/Pain is much better geared for fights vs large spawns. MMs in general do well vs just one target.

    My Necro/Storm does fine with just O2 because of all damage mitigation tools the set provides. My Thug/FF has enough defense that aid other is all he needs for healing.

    Take into account Masterminds are unlike the other AT in this game. To the fact changing either the primary or secondary changes playstyle completely. My Thug/FF plays nothing like my Thug/Poison. I'll be starting a Necro/Traps soon and I'm sure it will play nothing like my Necro/Storm.

    Yep me and my wife keep an updated version on an external as a backup. Came in handy when we replaced our laptops recently. Saved 4 hours having to dl the game and only took 10 minutes for the updater to fix the files.

    If you could get your hands on an Architect Edition box, that's the most up to date disc you can get. Or if you got a friend who plays, copy all their game files.
  8. No, it doesn't work anymore. Recent changes prevented all recharge from affect pet powers. Sad really, it upped the DPS on several pets.
  9. 2nd accounts always good if you're an active player. 36 slots only go so far for some altaholics. My wife stole my old 2nd account when she got into the game. Eventually I got a 3rd account for more toons.

    Not to mention bonuses like quick money trades and sg invite/promotions. W/o having to bother people.

    /TA had great MM love for PvP pre-i13.

    I have a necro/TA and bot/TA, decent enough toons. The necro/TA was for PvP but since TA got screwed in pvp. Aint had much urge to pickup the toon again. The bot/TA is a concept toon currently shelved for more interesting projects.

  12. indeed, my Thug/FF was an easy ride 1-50 as well. Regardless of how watered down, I'd still roll a necro/thermal in a heartbeat.
  13. It says 16, but on a herded group it feels like so much more.
  14. Never saw it go off much myself so made room for more -tohit. Slot it and try it, its cheap enough to throw away if you don't like the results.
  15. Look on the bright side, you can slide Leadership toggles right in because of this worthless power. :-)

  16. Dont forget hurricane kills range so they have to come in to attack. That only helps the fact necro is mostly melee pets. Tornado while a weak mag stun, in pvp mag doesn't matter since its all duration. All it takes is one second to detoggle somebodies offensive toggles.

    vs AVs /Dark is better

    vs players /Storm is better

    I think I might actually want /thermal instead of Pain for MMs. Shields + Heals + Thaw + Forge = win, no?

    I know I can easily keep Forge on at least two or three people when playing my thermal troller. Having the extra to-hit and damage for Forge, with the survivability of shields AND targeted heals might just be overkill for MMs.

    Remember though, if and when MMs do get thermal it will be a watered down version that we know.

    MMs are fine in PvP close to unstoppable in 1v1 arena fights. The one big weakness they had was nulled when they made the upgrades AoE. BGmode is thier weakness and strength in PvP.

    Your idea would weaken them in PvP.
  19. I can bring my fire/psi Dom to the party, he still needs the badge. I got several toons I can switch to, depending on makeup.
  20. /TA was gold on pvpin masterminds before i13. Close to deleting my necro/TA now. :/
  21. agreed on Salt Crystals, it is however a nice power for a cheap purple recipe set if you have no other powers you want.
  22. I went with Fire Mastery on my Fire/Rad, the shield and fireball is awesome. Plus consume is great since this set is extremely costly even with perma AM/Haste.

    For /Fire, I'd shoot for recharge then HP. Healing Flames being charged will be a lot more helpful. Granted +regen is always good on a melee toon, but you're no willpower or regen. Tough is also good to grab, then again I shove tough into all my melee toons.
