  1. There was a comic in the City Scoop semi-recently on the same subject. The Statesman saying something along the lines of "I need to count on you to save the world. The whole world!" and wouldn't give out his phone number because he didn't want weirdos calling him all the time.
  2. A bit of a tangent here, but I'm curious how epic sets work into Going Rogue. Can't exactly have a patron hero, can we?
  3. I thought this was gonna be about a /logout slash command. There's /quit, but that goes to desktop and isn't quite it.
  4. OP knows that "each" is singular and goes with the verb "comes." This thread is Guy Perfect Approved.

    Faction is Dead!

If you guys don't shape up your grammar and typing (there is no apostrophe in "its"!!!), I'm seriously going to nuke that mink farm! Seriously!

... So no Poison for Corruptors? )-:

I for one would like to see what Oranbega looked like before it sunk underground.

I actually had a dream once (before Ouroboros was announced) where somehow I gained access to the Overbrook zone prior to the Faultline incident. It was a neat zone.

    EDIT:
Great. Now the topic is about CoH and the Past.
  7. Wait, you mean Kinetics isn't just about buffing the Tanker? Man, Winters_Rose is gonna flip.

    Faction is Dead!

Oops. Someone took me seriously again. Gosh darn it, I need to be more careful!

    Faction is Dead!

A faction is specifically a group of something. Alignment has nothing to do with grouping. For instance, you can be of heroic alignment even if you're the only person alive.

The compass points north regardless of popular opinion.
  10. R-Type was a game, wasn't it? Someone had to program that. Maybe he's working for Paragon Studios now!

    Faction is Dead!

I'd just like to take a moment to thank the ever loving snot out of the devs for using the word "alignment" to describe the hero/villain occupation. All too often people have used the word "faction" to describe this, which is frankly incorrect.

So, um... Poison for Corruptors? We'll all be good to go after that!
  12. I always find it funny that "PC" stands for "personal computer," but somehow Macs are different. Are they on lease from Apple and not actually yours? Do they turn you into a faceless sillhouette with no identity that exists solely to purchase and show off Apple products!? OH NO!

Incidentally, I like the new video.

In City of Villains, there are four types of henchmen: Zombies, Ninja, Robots, and Soldiers.

I think the updated look is but one area that needs updating.

    2. How the heck do you navigate to the rest of the site from that page? It has no links!!!

    [/ QUOTE ]
Uh, what rest of the site? The one they're still putting up?
  15. It's less than two minutes. I've verified the respawn is immediate.

Can anyone confirm a Halloween Eaochi spawn yet?

    [/ QUOTE ]
I took down a few. They're in the usual spots.
  17. Seems the devs are trying to un-confirm what was posted in the IGN article about the mission creator. Notice that they made no effort to cover up the statement about powerset proliferation.
  18. I made an Elusive Mind icon about a year ago. I don't want to try and make you change the one you used, but if you'd consider it, that'd be great. My version
  19. Part of designing a costume is looking at available options and seeing what can be done. Were I to design everything from scratch, she'd look a bit different. But Robotic Arm 3 is the only way to get the arms colored differently, so that's the glove I'm stuck with.
  20. The outfit is supposed to look technological, yes. Natively, she doesn't use funky stuff. She even does her laundry by hand! But when she responded to villain activity in Paragon City, she saw what options were available and went to town, using old technique via new means.
  21. Someone suggested this thread be better here, so here's a re-post:

    ----------

I've got some plans for characters when Issue 12 comes out, what with all the proliferated Powersets and what-not. One such character will be an Archery/Mental Manipulation Blaster. I won't bore you with all the details of the backstory, but the gist of it is this: She comes from a simpler place and therefore uses a bow and arrow in addition to her inherent psionic powers, but Paragon City's robust technologies are also providing her with more toys and armor to play with.

    Picture 1: Standing
    Picture 2: Bow Drawn

The costume isn't set in stone, but I've spent a lot of time with it and like it the way it is. The fact that each arm has its own color makes me giddy. However, if you're more of a costume genius than I, please do suggest improvements!

In any case, all I'm really looking for is you guys' first impressions of the costume. Thumbs up or thumbs down?
  22. Now wait a second. Positron, I chatted with you during the I10 closed beta and suggested user-created content then. You said it "opens too many wormy cans." What happened that you changed your mind?

    Moving Day!

I demand extra ™'s and ®'s in your next post, Ex. You just don't seem the same without them. (-:
