    After reading the first 20 replies I noticed this is transformed into a semi polite flame war.

    Still despite rudeness, questionmarks etc. I am in favour of merging our servers into the US server sets. That would mean Vigilance and Zukunft remain as they are but the german and french speaking persons can go meet more exciting people on Union Defiant plus the American servers.

    It would solve our population problems, it would also boost the population of the American servers. For me that is a win win situation.
  2. I am against xp gaining when i log of. To much alts for me and i enjoy the slow ride up. Once a hero/villain reaches 50 it is retitrement time for me as there is nothing much interesting to do. I see no reason to hurry that part up even more then it allready has. If they make sure that we will have a true end-game then maybe i would like leveling faster.

    Revamps however are a good thing. Bye bye Galaxy, Boomtown, Dark Astoria and Perez. There is a reason cov only has half the zones and frankly i am not missing the lack of the hazzard zones there. Especially as you zoom through them at a breathtaking leveling speed as it is.
  3. Hmm either way toxic or fire I don't mind much which one it will be to be honest. Hellfire or sulforous poisonous vapours both sound demonic enough to me.

    Now to convince the powers that be that this would be an asset to the game

    Yeah, it would be nice if VEAT's get recognized as one of Arachnos. Of course the normal grunts tend to dislike us a bit because veats tend to think they are special and have destined status. So i can imgaine them taking a potshot at one of the veats just out of spite. I am sure Lord Recluse doesn't care one bit. If the VEAT's can't stand the heat, there is always room for another helper in the messhall. Or we could volunteer for taruntula enhancement.......
  6. Elementals are more a thing for heroic types. Us villains are more easily the ones who go for the easy power even if it comes at a price later. While heroes tend to be more of the studious slow learning curve thingies.

    And Sir Helm why i went for toxic and not fire is the simple fact that we allready have several pets (robots and thugs) who use fire extensively. Of course the zombies use toxic as well but not as an aoe effect like i proposed for the 3d of tier 1.
  7. The idea of a magical mastermind with access to demons is a nice one. Fire seems to be the most logical powers to have as well. It is thematically appropriate to hellspanwed denizens after all. But so are claws, poison, maggots and other nastyness.

    The idea to use CoT demons is one I don't like. But it wouldnt be much of a problem to create unique demons of course.

    For the tier 1 demons. Somehow I see big nasty vicious doglike beings with slavering jaws and nasty claws. I would make them start with a claw or bite (if possilbe) attack, upgrade to a more powerfull claw attack and end it with a slavering poisonous bite. For the third demonhound you could use a toxic aoe breath attack and perhaps something like venom grenade instead for the upgrades.

    This would make these demons an up close and personal assault type which sound fitting for unending demon horde minions.

    The venom stuff and grenades are indeed an arachnos idea. Of course he can get a web grenade from the devices set. But objection withdrawn.

    One other thing though. The LRM rocket is a top tier special power from the munitions set available only after level 45. It can't be the same one of course.
  9. Been in a SG that required the members to have a SG uniform 2nd or third slot. It did make you feel more involved with that SG. It is a good idea if your SG is active enough.

  11. I like most of the suggestions. Including the animated hair and the eyes blinking (facial expressions even better). Problem is that I think most require a major programing effort or a game engine update. I dont see those happening soon. Would like to have them but thems the odds.
  12. The tactical rifle set looks remarkably like the arachnos soldier set. Not sure if that is such a good idea even if it makes sense. I personally like the rifle butt and the bajonet option.

  14. Ever tried a tank?

    The whole idea about tanks is to rush of headlong into danger scoffing at the possibility of getting hurt in the process. It requires a lot of activity of the player as well because this is the person who basicly decides what the team is going to do.

    Problem with tanks is that they need teams to truly shine of course. I find them horrible to solo at lower levels. (Just now trying to make a tank/brute that works for me even during long soloing time).

    At this moment no villain group is available as a mastermind pet. So unless they want to change that policy I don't se a thing like this coming. It would make the whole Mercy Island Arc a bit shaky.

    If they would do this, one could imagine CoT MM's, Goldbricker MM's, Council MM's, Nemesis MM's, Carnival MM's (now that is one I would love to see) etc as well. I don't see that happening.

    Ps. As a 'charmer' I think his personal attacks should be more a psionic thing.

    Perhaps a tiered system. Students are free, expert mechanics ( who would repair stuff in a non-existent base-raid ) for 8k per month or something.

    Also small bases are free so far and get gradually expensive once you enlarge the base. I would suggest that hiring people would go from free (expenses paid by city hall) to more and more as the base grows and the number of people you can hire increases.

    They shouldnt cost to much if all they do is cosmetic though. But for those that actually do more then just standing or sitting around looking busy a higher fee would be appropriate.

    Hmm one more to add to the list.

    9 nurse/surgeon (posibly giving you +10% heal)

    Of course they should be able to conserve with you.

    I would suggest however that you don't buy them but pay them a salary. Lets say a 1000 prestige each month.

  22. Interesting concept. I like the idea of having mib's running around wrecking havoc wherever they go. Fits in the corporate corporation bad guy theme. I am less sure about your choice of using psionic abilities, wondering if that isnt a bit to powerfull compared to the other mm's. Based on the creys i would expect more things like weird guns and powersuits but thats me.

    Btw for their exit scene. Somehow I imagine them all holding out a flashing thingie that gives one flash after which they suddenly have disapeared. "You havent seen us". Seems so much more appropriate.
  23. I like a lot of the veteran rewards. The powers, the free respecs, the cossie pieces and the free tailor rewards. Lets not forget the free character slots. I hope they will make more rewards available and at lower levels to. Can't ahve enough nifty free stuff!
  24. Must agree with Praf here. I would love to see snow and other weather effects. But you better do it properly or not at all.
