There is a difference between clicking on doors and then running while you try to avoid harrasing others or trying to grief someone.

I don't mind the first part much, I have had to do it on a toon as well because i found her not able to deal with the tricks properly. I only needed the salvage so i was done relatively fast. It is an anoying tactic to do, i prefer to clobber em and get some xp while I am working. The problem is, you can't guarantee that nobody is getting a victim of this tactic. Because those spawns sometimes come out a wrong door. Worse they have to return to a door. And that door can be the door you are tricking. It happened to me when i was ToT and another person was doing the tick and run and kept doing it even after i asked him to do it somewhere more away from me.

But the first step to do is ask the person doing it to ToT somewhere else. If he doesn't then you can talk about griefing, jerkiness etc. Then you better move to another place after an optional griefing report.

The closest we have to this idea of yours nowadays is a Mothership Raid and the Hamidon Raids.

I have never done a Hamidon Raid but Mothership Raids are confusing but fun. With the new rikti/zombie engine the end fight should be possible.

Blue Rabit however made me nervous about his remark about the infamous CoP that the developers just couldn't make happen. Is the CoP truly similar to this idea? And if so, does this mean this idea is doomed from the start?

At the moment I agree with you, i want more invasions but for an event that last at least 14 days i think it is smarter not to overdo them.

Yeah but to what purpose? Bragging rights? I don't see it. I would much prefer newer challenges and yes gaining levels.

On the plus side. Every time i did an invasion I wasnt expecting it and had tons of fun. If the invasions were as common a the Rikti invasions were, people would argue that there were to many of them.

This way, when they come, people are willing to join the fray with a passion. Much better then the "meh another invasion lets do a newspaper mission instead" That said i sincerely hope there will be invasions in the prime time.

Ok lets be honest.

Why getting even more UBARZ? Its not as if there is much use for those L33T IO's except maybe going through mobs in 19 instead of 20 seconds.

So what is my motivation to spend hours and hours farming for something I will never need to or use?

The moment my toons hit lvl 50 I consider them done and finished. Occasionally I dust them of to hunt some badges. But I am not interested in farming for rare purples. I am not interested in PvP. Because the AT's I got are not the best ones for PvP. The storyarcs are finished or nearly so and I find it impossible to actually do the effort to finish em.

It is a pity actually, i liked leveling up those toons and i would like to have good reasons to continue playing them. Unfortunately the current things are not IT for me.

Of course that leaves me to altism. Which is nice but eventually fun toons hit that evil wicked 50 again and they will be mothballed as well.

So if they decide to make things more interesting for me at lvl 50 i will be interested. Leveling up from 50 to 60 would be something I wouldnt mind doing.

What i am not certain about is this one.

But I also had to log off at wentworth a few times
And I crashed last time i was playing in the midst of a street.

So what will happen to my dayjob counters?

Just had an invasion one hour before the shutdown of the servers. Autsch, they sure are nasty when theyre are no healers present. But they look awesome especially the reanimated corpses.

Its only a bit of debt of course. And remember, global ignore and a note is your friend. There will be a time when they need help and guess what? You recognize them for the jerks they are and take petty revenge. If they are blacklisted enough, they wont have much fun in the regular game anymore.

You cannot hide anymore and your gamers reputation is at stake.

The real question is how did you get to 25 without doing all those at low level ?

Hostage after killing the Boss with a AS buildup red and yellow inspi , and a second hit from your regular attack kill LT then the Minion .
hide is off but since there is only 2-3 minion coming your way , dont say you can't kill those with your regular attacks .

Well mayhems are same story as the hostage situations just simpler .

Elite boss , well for you save a purple def inspiration .
Buildup some red inspiration AS kill it .

Since you taken ninjutsu with a nice primary of ninja .
Divine Avalance after AS on auto makes you unkillable , sorry you hit the soft defence cap with ease .

I think you should practise a bit more solo , you probaly skipped a lot of content , so you are at a level where your skill stinks terrible , and your powerset aren't even bad choices for a stalker .

If you can't scrap it out with 3 +1 minions then i think you should give it up , sorry to say any AT should be able to kill 3 +1 minions . or they really lack playing experience .

I got to 25 in the course of a year of playing her occasionally. Dying a lot and skipping mayhems after ending up in prisons time and again.

Problem there is of course the longbows and heroes who see through your hide. Maybe DA will help out, I will test that one soon.

And content skipping? Nope not me. I hardly ever got a team. So basicly I solo 90% of the time. Granted, I am not terrible good with any of the melee types and my jumping around is more miss then hit. But if i can level a tank, scrapper, brute (granted only recently) then my gaming skills or lack of them is not the biggest issue. Good tactics and a good build is another thing. That's why I am asking you guys for some pointers. I can handle normal missions no problem its the specials that make me frustrated.

My tip? Don't solo, from 4 - 50 i don't think i ever solo'd my Stalker, if i couldent find a team i'd PvP, or RP.


I also found picking a set with a self-heal is win, specially for PvP which is what the majority of Stalker players do.

My DB/Ninja fairs very well in PvE with an IO build mainly built on defense. As for solo i coulden't really offer advice as i hate soloing, but in a team, use placate tactically if you have cone attacks position correctly, and if you take a nasty hit, run, heal up back into hide and land in another AS. Common sense things really, my biggest tip is to team though.

Well I have been into a team occasionally and then i concentrate on the lt's bosses etc. Problem is getting a team. Defiant is not known for its overabundance of players and i tend to play at odd times as well.

Well you could always consider it a disguise for your demon/angel. I know I would like to have a disguise if I was looking real weird for those moments you just want to relax.
