  2. I think I have to agree with JD here though. A lot of the newer devs arca are great. But there are a lot of complainers out there and you cannot please everybody. And a few 1's make it very hard to keep on that 5 if not downright near impossible.

    In fact. I dare the devs to try with an unknown name.

    It was never easy. They made this great tool to replace a spreadsheet. So their developers could work on new missions.

    They gave it to us because they saw how much potential it had. I hope we get more new content as well.

    A lot of stories out there are based upon the cox universe. Building upon it. Making it into fan based canon. The devs however can, if they like elevate one of those arcs to true canon by implementing them in the game. I personally like to use existing NPC's and elevate them to contacts for my arcs.

    Very true, however the game is 5 years old. It could use a new boost and I think this is it.

  5. You are not the only one getting gank starred Bovine. Seems it happens quite often if I may believe our oversees friends. Happened to me as well. That arc has recovered and ratings have gone up. I was rather distraught by it. It hurts when your arc where you put so much time in gets rated lower then some trash arcs with undeserved high rates. But then you get someone saying that they loved your arc and things are right again
  6. Most of the villain arcs are excellent imo. Most of those would fall into the 4 star section or better.

    Including Kalinda and Burke. We only truly hate those because we did them to often.

    In the list above I did not see Radio Free Opportunity, Marsall Brass with the PTS (THE tm mark about Cap au Diablo) and where are the excellent arcs Form St Martial? I found the ones based on the Golden Giza to be fine as well.

  9. The problem with giving a rating is that you cannot change the rating. So if the person improved his arc it is still stuck at that low rating you give it. Even if it is no longer valid.

    So if you see an arc that just need a bit of polish to get that extra star, perhaps it is better not to rate it but leave a comment so he can improve the arc.

  11. And then there are the 1 star grievers who like to give 1 stars to persons just for the fun of it. Happened to me just minutes after publishing it. You can only hope things level out. But when you see a mission with 1 star. That doesn't say a thing!
  12. Well as non English speaker I know how hard it is to get every mistake out of the arc. It still is not done yet despite a lot of help so far. It doesn't help that a lot of corrections keep hanging in limbo without getting saved properly, damn caching.

    I have to agree that with the current browser a rating of 4 is not good for getting found. Guess what happens when some joker rate you a 1. Some like to grief people that way, happened to me and now one of my arcs is stuck at 3.

    But Alvan, have you seen how many 5 star arcs there are? Sad thing is that amongst those you wont be found as well.

    I did it with a level 2 mm and with a level 2 brute. I had some trouble with the boss in mission 4 and turned him into an lt instead. If you got trouble with him give me a warning.
  15. I didn't receive a single comment. Even from one who in fact did had send a comment and told me about it as he tested my arc on my request.

    I was on Union and he on Defiant.

  17. Ok, I am trying to level a toon from 1 to 50. But it is hard to find good arcs to do so. Basically we need a list for just that purpose. Preferably with a story that makes sense for a lowbie as well. And tested with a genuine lowbie, not an exemplared lvl 50. There is a big difference.

    So let me start with this list:

    Level 1-10
    The Blackmarket wants you: ID 1064. Red Side.

    Can you help out Mia to get some odd jobs done so she can concentrate on trading instead of keeping corrupt Rippers, Longbow and some snakes out of her hair? As reward you will get a fancy ID that makes those Arachnos Arbiters happy. Saves bribing the whole time.

    Lets get a nice list together. I still have 45 levels to do with Trolly.
  18. I put myself to the challenge to level one only through MA missions. Poor deluded and quit a bit stoned Trolly is trying that task. Though it is hard to find good lowbie arcs! Even the one I custom designed for lowbies needed a bit more tweaking down (it should be good now though )

  20. The skull mask, the mantle, I can see good use for that hooded cloak as well. Plus new cossie pieces for my girls to play with. Don't forget the fun sounding power and costume change emotes.

    I feel the need to buy this one asap.

    I like the idea that we're claiming to be using logic, but ignoring that every single building is an identical massive construct, even in an interdimensional invasion warzone, with the conclusion that possibly the system is considerably more extensive and complicated than 'a few consoles'.

    That might be true. The problem is that the buildings don't fit in a lot of places they are placed. They could have worked a bit on that problem.

    The RWZ building is an example. If it had been replaced with a bunker like building then sure but this building is to fragile to be of much use in a warzone.

    Or maybe that the playerbase is so stupid and eager to moan that they didn't just fail to realise that a total immersion VR environment would be a revolution in troop training, and one of the greatest tools available to Vanguard thanks to it, but that the initial in-universe explanation for the Mission Architect specifically pointed out Positrons interest in the technology as a training simulator. Obviously it doesn't make any sense at all that Vanguard would have an interest in flawlessly realistic but non-fatal training available for their soldiers.
