  1. That would be: A Game of Knucklebones #35280 - Level 5-14 easy Hero arc.

Good thing I remembered the authors name.

Another arc to try is : Arachnos Research and Development: Reap What You Sow. ID: 122378

Done it on my arc leveler. Only 21 and a wp/ss brute, but she managed to bring the end-boss down. After a few tries he is very tough even as a boss. I recommend to wait until you hit 22 though. SO's would have helped.
  2. I am all in favor of initiatives like this.

    Solo Arc Contest

Well the OP can post messages to this thread, so he can send messages to one of the other people on this forum as well.
  4. So far, most of the arcs I play come from those people who have advertised them on this forum. Biggest benefit is that I can help people to improve their arcs.
  5. Hope the cake was nice and Frosty.
  6. Have a very CUTE cake for your Cakeday!

    Solo Arc Contest

Well, this is to good to be true. Let me add one for your workload.

    It's Love Spurned. ID: 1934
When you run through Pocket D suddenly this little colorful guy attracts your attention with his frantic shouts and movements. You stop and listen to what he has to say. Bad mistake.

For heroes (or villains who want to know why it is a bad idea to try to be heroic). It is soloable (i even recommend to solo it), contains no funny evil EB's or AV's.

Please use the system from this Forum to send me any remarks as I cannot receive any remarks from the USA

Thanks for including the EU in this, Projectionist.

Are you aware that if you play an EU mission on the US servers then any feedback you attempt to give via the architect options will not be recieved?

    [/ QUOTE ]

So please, use an EU account to test/contact us. If necessary use the forum post system.
  9. I also used the SFMA tag for one of my arcs (love spurned 1934). But it is not a sign of quality. It is a sign for the intention of the arc.

In this case the author tries to make a Story Focused Mission Arc. If he succeeds or not is is another thing. There is no guarantee that you will like arcs, even ones with a lot of votes.

Ps. If you can reach the author, please help him/her with feedback. Just now, I am fixing some typos that despite some excellent proofreading seem to have slipped in. It takes time to make an arc almost error free and without obvious flaws. Time and a lot of help.
  10. And if people really object, then they can throw that souvenir away. If you want to stay true to the cannon, you can even mention that it is just a reminder of how things COULD have been if it had been for real.
  11. Best guess is Maestro of Mayhem for leader.

And of course any kittens we meet in there.
Lets hope we don't find BCN but just in case she got away!

Ok and for a wild guess, how about Amanda? I happen to know to never trust Damsels in Distress and she fits the leader bill almost as good as mr Mayhem.

    Review Thread

Barfing because of the review is an occupational hazard. But barfing before you do a review means that it is time to get a rest.

    Be well soon.
  15. The IC comments are a nice touch. But you should make sure that you feel up to the task to provide the review. I can imagine that it is a lot of work like this.
  16. I got some whacky7 ideas but that's not the same as a good arc. Its definitely not the same as an arc with appropriate grammar. The people who helped me out so far improving the grammar on my current arc is proof enough for that.

Just some random ideas. Feel free to use them, I can always think of other ones:

Singing telegrams service: Always smile when you bring the birthday presents and don't think about what it is you are transporting.

Every birthday party needs a Clown: Death with a smile. Can you stop the Clown murderer before he crashes another birthday party?

I want an Action Figure for my birthday! Shops are closing and the young nipper demanded an Action Figure doll of the notorious Grinning Spade (he I am entitled to a mary sue here). Can you keep the precious not a doll out of the hands of those other parents who can't be as desperate as you are? And why7 did nobody tell it was a fullsize doll? And is this a Nemesis plot or what?

What to use, what to use.
  17. Mini review:
Bringing Down the Overpass ID: 45500. Hero level 15-20

Nasty wicked evil outcasts. Always planning and plotting against Trolls. Now they want to do a Skyway hollowing! We cannot allow that. There can be only one Hollows. A simple short arc that gives you the chance to save the day. It could do with a little bit more story and personal backgrounds. But the war between outcasts and trolls is known enough not to need it. Warning though. Bring your flight pack!

Twisted Tales - Part Two - Making a Song and Dance: ID 12479 neutral level 20-29

More twisted tales, this time about strange happenings and musicals. I am not as acknowledged in the old musical thing so i missed quite a few puns and that made following the story a bit harder. But it is well executed though the custom mobs proved a bit too much for me to handle. Still the author told me she intended to replace them. In the meanwhile, make sure you are at least SO'ed up before you try. Don't try before level 22 would be my advice here.
  18. Do I dare again?

Not sure if I cajouled you into playing this one before Leese. Forget it if you have done so.

But I would like some input on Love Spurned 1934. It is a 'heroic' arc (well anybody willing to listen to that man must be heroic). It is supposed to be humorous and it should contain the worst cossies ever. Level range 35-40 and works best solo or in small teams or you will miss half the little jokes.

    To much farming

    [ QUOTE ]
Even though i farm and i'll happily admit it, i have to say that it is just TOO easy as things are.

My friends and i wanted to see how fast a really poor team (by poor i mean using things to farm with that aren't usual) could farm. It turns out it's not much slower than a proper farm team.

We did 1-50 in just over 8 hours Piccy*

That's absolutely stupid. Lower the amount of mobs in a mission and also lower the amount of rescues you can have. Also fix the aggro cap, because herding 5 mobs is obviously a bug. Back to i3 ftl!

*I took the time behind the personal info as it would be harder to fake and thus being more trustworthy.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well, if even a farmer finds thing too easy.
  20. To be hoenst perhaps a good thing. Thinking about a 30000-60000 other test arcs to clutter all the trash.

    Today I even found:

A testarc from Positron. Created in the time they were infernally testing.
  21. An explanation? I am sure you can figure that one out for yourself. You know who and what I am. I need to have a stern word to Nachtschade though. Sloppy of her to get caught.

You want a warrant do you? I assume you want a proper warrant, not a here is some money, now you keep your mouth shut warrant? No wonder that PC got more rogue activity then RI.

But lets play along for a bit, even if only for laughs. What would you require for a warrant?
  22. Just got the report from my operative Nachtschade. Basically she confirmed what herczeg reported minus the personal observations. Though she seemed very worried about turning into a catgirl herself now she finally has her buttclaok so that people stop looking at her waist. Or was that the other way around? Rubber and fur apparently don't work to well together since they got Jay running the arachnos costume department.

She also expressed worry about us being to late already for Amanda because of something BKN said about us being to late and all. It is curious why the cats call Amanda their queen since they don't need her psychic powers to run that new spell we found. (memo to self, keep the copy nachtschade made of that spell at a save place. You never know when you want to turn a lady into a cat. Things like that are always useful for future purposes. Just like Death Ray Moonbase lasers).

Anyway, time to put our investors at work with Herczegs list, while we check out the place Amanda drew on the map.

Spade, Might Makes you Right is a villian arc, not a heroic one.

    [/ QUOTE ]

You are right there. I will change it in a next update!

And farmers might be inclined to add SFMA, because they think it might make thier farm less likely to be deleted.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Ooh... that would be most irritating. But you are likely correct.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I doubt it. It would bring their arcs to the attention of those who hate farms.

I for one will be using this system. If enough people find out about tags like this, then people will start using them and they will become widespread.
