Officer Tracy reporting.
After placing the call with Midnight-Strike I went to the shop to place her under arrest. Inside the shop I was assaulted with 4 security guards that I immediately arrested for assaulting an officer despite me flashing my badge.
After examining the jewelery case I found some evidence in the form of a note.
The note was addressed to me personally and not under the assumed allias I was using. It stated that someone else had contacted her just before I did to steal the same Jewel. Including a warning that I would try to arrest her.
It appears that we have a leak in the organisation. I suggest we sweep the building for bugs.I also suggest we make sure that our future conversation cannot be overheard by anybody but us. -
Just logged in with another character and she did fine in cap but the second she hit Sharkhead on Union server she got the lost connection blues.
It's safe to say Sharkhead Union is broken. -
I just logged off because of extreme conn loses. Come to think of it, that character IS in Sharkhead as well. I will try what happens with another one.

Lola Skull here.
Wow, Possitron asked for my help. I mean Positron! The big guy himself. Anyway one of his labs had an infestation of clockwork and he asked me to clean them out. I felt so proud here!
Anyway it took me a long time to remove the clockwork but i confess that I was a bit preoccupied studying all the shinies i saw.
I noticed that one of the machines was missing a big part codenamed Project Free runner. Something very important and technical. I found some documents about it on a whiteboard to. After this all Mr Positron asked me to find out who stole his technological gizmo as I had found some security footage that needs translating.
So I guess I better run to LOCA for the decrypting of the security files. I also like some technological wizzkid to check out the files so I get an idea what this Project Freerunner is all about. -

.... you're right. Maybe I misremembered what Posi said. But I'm pretty sure he said something that indicated global tels were a better practical solution than mails.
GLobal tells are still an inadequate solution though. I hope the devs are working on a much better system for I15.

They could use the database system from the MA perhaps? That server is already accessible to everybody. Inserting one more table into that database with comments on that server sounds doable to me. -
The SK system is one of the features that I likeabout this game. The fact that you as lowbie hero can be the sidekick of that big and mighty well established hero is a good thing. Even if it allows for things like PLing.

Still, I like the idea. Of course I had to wonder about us villains. No such locations for villains.

I got demoralised after feedback but not for the reason of being a four-star monkey like everybody else. The reason I'm demoralised is that the critical feedback I got was RIGHT. Lots of my story elements suddenly needed major reworking and I'm just so fed up because I had put a lot of effort into tweaking them (thanks to initial feedback) into a state which I felt was just perfect. Suddenly, people find more loose ends than a plate of spaghetti and I'm down in the dumps.

Feedback can be most devastating to the morale yes. Especially when you put a lot of effort and work into it. -
1) Big no. As in really big no no no.
2) Fine with me
3) See 1 and let me emphasize more NO. Let's not encourage the farmers more shall we?
4) Yes GC could use some loving but so many places do and this is not going to happen soon.
5) /Signed, that sure is a pain
6) In RWZ you can buy inps inside the MA building. Might as well put something similar now in ITF I guess.
7) No. Don't destroy this grand thing just becasue we have farmer problems. Don't throw out the child with the bathwater. -
I have been on the verge of removing my arcs a few times. The only reason I don't is that for every ones who says meh, there is someone who likes it well.
But, while I am still tinkering with my existing arc, I doubt I will try to make a new one. I don't consider myself a good enough storyteller to ever be able to reach for a HoF status and frankly trying to write in English is beyond my expertise.
It doesn't help that updating an arc is a big pain as well.
About the butterfly effect. When i first played it, I liked it a lot. But that mission was written in closed USA beta and it is showing it's age.
I really think that Dev choices etc ought to be update able by the author. -
I was wondering about that. Nice to see that I can look forwards to more of excellent posters. And my original idea is just that an idea. You are the person who has to make it work.
-
Glad to see that you have not given up on the reviewing part!

Also something to think about: the devs will likely send a comment to the author asking if they want their arc to be DC'd and well, we can't receive messages from the US.

I second both of the ones above as well. Excellent material.
I also like to recommend:
Vernon von Grun's Extraordinary Extradimensional Excursions (115174)
By @Igor Blimey
All I need to say is: Dum Dum Dadum DDUUUUUUUUMMMM!!!!!
And I want one of those, no no I demand one of those! -
So we should have a not so very closed closed beta and a slightly lesser closed open beta. Both are similar to each other bringing us to the formula:
not so very closed closed beta = slightly lesser closed open beta.
Which can be translated when we remove the same words to:
not so very closed = slightly lesser open
The value of not so very is almost the same as slightly lesser. SO when we get them out of the formula:
closed = open

Limit it to be real real slow. Say 5 minutes. Yes it works, you get out of trouble but it is so slow that abusing it is not an option.

My Global probably IS taken on the other side of the pond. Even if the USA Gunbunny did not post any arcs. So maybe she is getting all the this is a rubbish arc post instead
However I never did get any confirmation that my feedback was send successfully to one of the American Arcs. I would love to test this, anyone got an USA account?
[/ QUOTE ]
I have, and my global is the same so you can test it with my arcs.
[/ QUOTE ]
Well then lets test two things:
1 US to EU. Can you send me a message then from your USA account to check if this arrives at my global?
2 EU to US. You got an Arc ID from an arc posted with your US account? Then I send you an easily recognizable comment.
Lets see who gets the message then -
We will know more in a few hours time.

it sure was. I was in the middle of a respec attwempt. It now is a fail, snif. No shiny badge

If your character is not eligible for any xp/influence/debt reduction rewards in a Mission Architect mission, you will no longer be awarded any tickets for that mission.
[/ QUOTE ]
What do they mean with that?
If you are being exemplared then no tickets?
if you are being lackeyed then no tickets?
[/ QUOTE ]
I think it's this. That if they Con Grey to you then you won't get tickets for killing them (they're holograms, it's Ok to kill).
[/ QUOTE ]
You mean you got drops from grey mobs in the MA? That sounds like a bug. Good thing if they removed that problem. -

what again they really need to do something about these US maintenance times I would have thought the entire point of having a EU division was so that you could better schedule things.
[/ QUOTE ]
I concur.
It is one thing to have patches like this but I am playing on a EU server and I expect EU friendly maintenance times. If they cna tgive us that, then I want to have the US benefits. More people, more servers, a forum that devs read etc. -

I think that it is harder to strike it rich on the red side. Not that I have trouble earning enough to get my SO's and even the not to expensive IO's for my characters. So if you like the challenge, I would suggest to get red.
