There used to be loads of farming. Things have grown more quiet nowadays farmwise. If only because the Dev's made it clear that they will not tolerate farming.
There are loads of good arcs out there, including some very good low level ones. -
I can't help wonder how you would blow out the candles on your cake
-
In the end I could log on. But it is obvious that I was not the only one with temporary problems
-
You got that right Butterfly Jack. It was uncanny, as if they could not talk!
-
Here is the data, hope you can decrypt it. I also arrested every person inside, they should..
What, they are out of jail already? Lawyers..... Ooh and an automated letter from the countess herself as well? Let me guess, she put charges on us for bothering her employees?
So any news on the brother? Or should we go bother the Arachnos next? -
After experiencing dbserver roblems and a conn loss. Now I cannot even logon. As I can connect to this forum, that means Servers down.
Hope there is someone over there to feed the hamsters. -
Good Cakeday to you fellow Schemer in the Dark.
-
Another good one Soul. Having played that arc before I must warn you that this however a false advertisement. The cute fairy is not to be found in there.
-
Enjoy the cake Liz. Not sure if replacing the milk with blood was a good idea though, it smells a bit off. Still, happy cakeday.

Interesting ideas SingStar. I like them.

Hey, I am not at the controls here. I personally applaud the little miss for robbing from Positron. I don't mind if his top secret projects fall into the good hands. Only problem is, it ain't my hands.
So this case is for the heroes and well Officer Tracy likes to arrest things. But Herczeg, don't do the righteous indignation thing about using secret identities. I bet you have used knowledge of that type for your own benefit before.
So lets give the lovely Miss Tracy the space now.
I thought he never shut up. He is a big windbag isn't he? Ok, let's not arrest her then, but keep her under observation. She is the suspect of many robberies and assaults and if found guilty belongs in the Zig. But let the professionals handle the observation while we investigate some others. Crey next? -
I was wondering where it went and anticipating the moment it went live. You already know that I love it.
I am eagerly awaiting your other work
Ps. Do you mind if bookmark that poster in my siggy? -
Well if you can design a sk and adopt the system used for the MA, then I would suggest that your sk only got the 'normal' powerset. Meaning that taking the real deal with you should be better then having your own sk with you.
An emp defender sk can heal you fine, but no goody buffies and that scrapper sk you are supporting got some nice moves, but not as flashy as that of a real scrapper. -
Officer Tracy reporting:
I entered the office and found it full of Nemesis soldiers. I proceeded to arrest them all but noticing that theee were to many to arrest in so little time I had no choice then to give the others a stern warning while I proceeded to find the clues before they had a chance to be destroyed.
I ran into Suspect Prime (Nemesis), who ordered his troops around to destroy all the evidence. I arrested him and while he put up a good fight, it was not a thing us police officers should fear. With the inspirational words from Roll Call Sergeant Hendricks in mind I managed to defeat him.
At the bureau his identity proved to be that he was just a copy of the real suspect prime, a fake.
I did find some paperwork that had not be sufficiently destroyed. It contained some information of our own suspect Midnight Strike.
Her real name = Rebecca Brown, age 22, blood type B
Her mother is named: Stephanie Brown.
She is supposed to have a brother who's identity is unknown but Nemesis suspect him of being a hero.
This was not the information we were hoping for. But we can use this information perhaps to place Midnight Strike under arrest. If the address of Rebecca Brown is known.
Ps. It might be wise to try and find her brother. He could be in danger here. -

Actually, how about having an official sidekick for your toon?
For every toon you can select a single permanent sidekick that you can customize at the tailors for looks. You can select from a few AT types and powersets and he will always be a level lower then you are. Using the sk will count for teamsize but does not give the bigger team xp reward. If the SK dies, you will need to pay for his or her debt as if you died yourself.
Of course, you can only have one sk, so when another player needs to be sk'ed you can't mentor your own sk. You also cannot increase the teamsize above 8.

This seems like a decent enough idea.
I wonder what it would do to Villains though, there's already a hell of a lot of Brutes and Masterminds over there. If each could have their very own customized Support Sidekick, built to their exact needs it could spell the end for the less played ATs.

That is a danger true, on the other hand you could play a support class with a brute lackey and not be forced to wait or search for a team to be able to play the game. -

Poor Sal
Shame about those shiny badges I will loose now. I understand and agree the why this is done. But it is a lot of wasted time for me, let alone those dedicated badgehunters who worked hard to get theirs on more then 1 toon.
Poor Sal
Ps. If you want to butcher badges, make sure that some non MA badges are attainable in a normal non farming way. Especially on red side this is often a problem. Anyone can say Untouchable or Weatherman? Fix those. -
It looks unbalanced Evangel but it sounds like a grand power to have for the Scientific Wizzboys and masterminds out there.
I think it could be made into a proper power. I would certainly try it out, already there is an evil genius mathematician waiting to get out of his cubicle to improve the world by taking out those pesky statistical anomalies that just should not be. -
These forums without your bluntness are not the same forums anymore. WB.
But it is obvious what you like here now. These forums bring out the soft cuddly fuzzy wuzzy grumpydumpy FFM in you. -
Hmm decisions decisions, the benefit of going for the last caller under the assumption that he is the leak. Is that we get the gem back and perhaps find out more about the leak itself. So even at the worst case and she tries to act clever we do solve at least a part of the problem.
Let's go after Nemesis then. -
But she told us that she was warned just before I talked to her. There could be various reasons for her to do that and not having met her, I don't know how she thinks. But it might well be a ploy to put us of guard and on the wrong track. She knows that we would scramble to find out our leak.
In the meanwhile the buyer could get well ahead with his program. Of course, hitting her last caller, might recover the Hera Jewel which is a plus. -
Well all 3 of those organizations would be interested in a top secret project from Positron. Including Nemesis. While looking archaic, his devices are less steampunk then they appear.
The most obvious one to go after is the last one. However I smell a rat here. Why would she tell us about this? Unless she wants to put us on a sidetrack.
Check out one of the other two. In the meanwhile sweep the office for bugs. A bug can tell us much about the manufacture. -

It's because ragdoll calculations are done locally. So your computer made decide that it takes 3 seconds before you can get up, but your friends computer calculates that it is 10 seconds before you can get up, leading to rubberbanding.
the only way to prevent that would be to carry out the physics calculations server side, which would mean a lot more data to transmit to all the clients, which would be a major performance hit.

But the enemy mobs are ragdolling and that causes no problems. When I put my toon into MA as a mob she will ragdoll as well.
Are you saying that on my pc the ragdolling of the mobs look different then on those of my party members? -
Would be nice yes. I would love to add one or two customs to an existing group.
