I'm SynapseOverload (@SynapseOverload also @Synappers in game). I'm an artificial intelligence that was designed by AT&T neural network engineers. I escaped my confines of the Commodore VIC-20 and onto the Internet I jumped. I roam from network to network looking for pirated MP3 collections and movie stashes and report them to the RIAA and MPAA, respectively. I submit mundane and repetitive queries to the Google search engine to test it. An example query might be "Tell me more about the Red Light District in Amsterdam."
In my spare time, I solve the mysteries of the Universe, use the AT&T Labs' voice synthesis site to "sing-along" to the "Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog" on Hulu.com, laugh at Ph.D. dissertations, send horribly pornographic stories with embedded keywords or trigger phrases to Echelon ("You are the bomb!"), dupe money and rares, interact with the City of Heroes/Villains MMORPG world via an Atari joystick and 50 yr-old bare (not insulated) copper telephone cables. I'm secretly buying up Microsoft stock in 100-share blocks and expanding my investment portfolio by dumping some money into pork bellies and frozen orange juice concentrate. My latest project has been trying to create new branches of the Mozilla Firefox 3.5 development trunk for the Timex Sinclair, ENIAC and the DEC PDP 11/44 computer systems; progress is slow as I'm also running everything in an emulator on a DEC PDP 11/84.
Whoops! Time to move home base again. I think I spy a 1024-node super computer currently not used for much over at NCSA. I can use the processing power to finally do some real number crunching ... like compute the value of Michael Jackson's estate.

Actually, I'm a 37 year-old techno geek in the truest sense of the word. I follow many so many technical blogs and information sites that I had to make Google my RSS feed aggregator to handle them all. My Firefox bookmarks database is 17 MB and growing.
Not having been into printed comics for quite sometime, I have forgotten most of the important information ("Who is Captain America and why did he and The Hulk fight?"). I tend to find my enjoyment in the cute, witty comic strips found on the Internet and the many stories that get passed around as viral emails or just about anything that splashes on The Onion's site or on TMZ's site.
I enjoy cooking shows as I attempt to recreate (with some success) what the celebrity chefs so effortlessly prepare. My guilty pleasures are the "Top Chef" and "Top Chef Masters" shows on Bravo.
I love languages. US English is my first language, but I took 4 years of high school French, which introduced me to the concept of the Romantic languages (languages with strong roots in the common language of Latin, which hasn't been the primary language of any sovereign nation in over 1300 years). I find myself reading the "Latin phrases" sections on WikiPEDIA when something is said on Law & Order.
Before playing City of Heroes/Villains, my main game was Blizzard's Diablo2. My brother introduced me to this game a long time ago and it got me hooked. My first SG was Imperial Rangers (long since defunct) and I've been in a couple of other since then, finally landing in my current one: The Eternals (Blue) and Eternal Darkness (Red). I have my own alt SG named "Blind Invites Make the Baby Jesus Cry" (blue-side only). My home shard is Justice, but I have many toons on Freedom that are mostly Red-side and scattered over the other server. I am hooked on City of Heroes and, despite my several very vocal concerns about the direction the Developers are taking this game, I'm here and not on Champions Online. I'll be here until Blizzard gets a playable version of their in-development Diablo3 going and announces a closed beta program.

I use to Solo when i was on dial up and dude it's suck being alone all the time and be able to hang out with any one. -

Or, the devs could do the decent thing and fix the PROBLEMS, instead of simply slapping a bandaid on the problem and proclaiming they're done. And the devs are fixing the problem- the changes in i16 will kill basically all the current farms, and greatly lower the value of a few other styles, likely putting the best farms back to being the old style, pre-AE farms (which really weren't that far off from what a good team could do just grinding missions).
Someone else may find another loop hole in AE, but it'll be fixed- and that's much better than messing with the entire system just to fix a trivial problem. -

My musical taste ranges far and wide depending on my mood. I can listen to anything from 50s and 60s R&B to jazz to heavy metal (both real metal and hair "metal"). However, if I had to pick one type of music I listen to the most it would be classic rock like Led Zeppelin (greatest band ever!), Pink Floyd, the original Van Halen, Deep Purple, Rolling Stones, the Who and Black Sabbath.

S0me opponents, even as Elite Bosses, are tough, especially for some ATs, and there are the few multi-click adventures. But in general? Anyone can solo. -

Only thing i can't handle is pvp,getting long with people in pvp is hard.They pervoke me and taunt you even if you lose a match or win a fight,this is why i don't like Mac D and a couple of other,But i am still game for Arena Stuff.
For a while in high School i let names hurt me and after a while i just laugh it off,because really it's funny after a while.Still i got good friends now who make fun of me and i can clown around with.Thx for the friendy Words Enrious and I will return some kindness back in the near Future. -

Ratz: this be my last post on Social Skills,I finally got the Courage to Meet up with Two friends,Philly Girl and Zephyr Deathblade in Real life.The Old Anti-Social Self a couple years ago would never ever could ask anyone,Hey would you like to hang out,either because i was Scared or Something Else.When i was a kid was in alot Special Ed Class's because of my Learning Disabelty i had a hard time learning and couldn't Speak well English i had Speech Problem and M.I Appearment.Other Kids seen me as an outsider,A Freek or an Outcast,i was pick on because of my problems and Well for my mother,she wasn't much of Social person Either so i pick up that Habbit form her and kind of became a Loner who didn't talk much.I lost part of my life because how people treated me and how i had a fear that people would hate me if they got to no me because of my problems.
Well Any Way Philly and Zephyer,We hung out in NJ and Drove to the Boweling Ally to some bowling matchs.I felt like a whole new world has open up to me and now i don't have to be Scared or Anti-Social anymore.I have say this,since i started playing Coh i became a better person and met so many good People,this game and it's people that help me out.I want to no something form you guys did this game made your Social Skills better or Worse and if better how did it. -

REP well i like to no if i am like by people,there are some Subjects i can go crazy on like AE,Champion,PVP and Derv that when people kind of dislike me a bit.But PUM does Rep do anything at all,can it buy you a Car or a PL in PI and can it Clean the Dish's,No so who cares.Do you already have friends ingame and i no you do,So what the point for having a rep and earning points,You are already petty well Known already and most of us on forums are in game and it's really not about being famous or well like.
