Alright everyone, the closing date is coming close. I don't consider it July 10th until I wake up so both character and artist alike have a chance to slip in even if its technically already the 10th.

I'll announce the winners tomorrow. Since it is my first day of class tomorrow and I have English Comp for 8 hours, further discussion with the winners will be delayed until I return from class. Still you'll know the winners in the morning.

So far I have 17 character entries and 4 artist entries (with 4 more hovering in the ethernet), which means:

If you entered a character, you have a 5.88% chance of being chosen

If you are an artist, you between a 12.5 to 25% chance of being chosen, depending on which artists have confirmed their spot by morning

These numbers are subject to change if more people enter after this post.

I agree with the others that a truly honorable person wouldn’t really nominate themselves because that would be rather selfish and just not in their nature. However, the above quote shows that they’re judging the character’s concept, not the person behind the monitor.

It is a three-fold contest combining writing (bio), costume, and roleplay aspects. They’ll be judging who you act out to them, rather than whether you, the person, have any of the qualities you’re impersonating. So it’s open to everyone, and people can nominate themselves; it’s a matter of how well you know your character and how well you can integrate into their ‘spirit.’

However, to truly find the ‘most honorable’ individual on Champion server would be next to impossible. There are hundreds of unknowns in the City that we pass by every day and are only known to a select few individuals, yet to those few individuals they may have exhibited real life, genuine qualities many others will never have the pleasure experiencing from them. If based on a majority vote, the UHB voting panel would have to take months with each nominee to get to know who they really are behind the monitor to determine whether or not they are truly the most honorable individual.

So it’s about ‘roleplaying’ honor, not necessarily being honorable.
