I figure it's about time I updated my gallery, eh? Well, if you've been following the Art forums the past several weeks then you've already seen most of my updates such as:

Even though these pieces have already been posted in alternate threads on the forums...that ouce of OCD in me won't allow me to not post them here too. *grrr*

But I do have another new addition to my gallery tonight, featuring my scarlet-clad villainess, Jackalynn!

You won't get as far as those who exhibit it relentlessly and without control. *ahem* Well, that is if you want to listen to the Jackal, who isn't your average breed of supervillain: she wins. Hmmmm, on this train of thought, I'm craving a versus piece...

OOOOOOOOOOOO! What a lovely treat to come home to after a long day (night?) at school! Gray looks gorgeous, and like how others have mentioned, I love her eyes and that hint of a smile. Some may view it as devious, I sort of see it as a moment of amusement...like a little bit of happiness in her otherwise dark world.

Welcome Scoot, I look forward to seeing what other art you collect. It is an extremely rewarding hobby, albeit expensive at times. Keep your eye out for great deals though, and start building a wishlist.

Great place to set up your gallery is deviantArt, because you'll be able to convienietly communicate with a ton of commisionable artists. It's also a place to set up your gallery...sometimes the artist comes to you .

Also, check out other collectors' galleries, because we sort of work together as a road map to other artists; you can judge whether a particular artist is right for you by seeing if you like what they've done for us.

Man, TT, I'm sad to see you leave the contest. I'm sorry to see that it had lost its appeal in the end, and some situations were...a bit blown up.

Too bad to hear Juggertha leaving too, while he'll still be on dA I hope he didn't leave for similar reasons as TT.

So now that we got that squared away...what's August's theme?

Congratulations LD! And congratulations to Crestent, again...(We should stop meeting like this or people are going to talk). I acknowledge Chris' concerns and realized it myself, but I voted for who I believed captured the theme.

I figured if TA thought those pieces didn't qualify then he would have stated so during the submission phase of the contest prior to the deadline.

Don't worry Apro, if there is any confusion about spreading the word among the forums then everyone can refer to the first post where TA advises everyone to make sure and get the word out that anyone on the boards can vote in this contest.

Maybe we should create a support program for our friends who have been marked...

How do you like the new forums? I see plus and minuses here and there, but overall I'm very happy with it. So let's celebrate! And just like any momentous occasion such as New Year's, a major resolution, or victory, I'm going to kiss the nearest person.
