The amount of influence that can be held on one character needs to be increased. 2 Billion is so easy to reach these days.

If they add the 3 Stooges poke to the eye and a blocking manuever where you put your hand between your eyes I am sold!!

Quote:Newspaper/Radio, Mayhem and Tips are far from Classics. He is referring to Pre-CoV leveling.Everything you are doing is everything I do on all of my characters :|
In fact, the -only- time I AE farmed was on two of my toons. Fortunata Sanguine to bum-rush her to fifty so I could earn VG leadership, and Aaron'noxa to 40 so he could start tanking.
All the others were classic Newspaper/Radio, Mayhems, Tips, and story arcs.
Quote:Retro levelling?
Psh. You know how I level my toons?
I log in. I run the tutorial. I run missions for my contact in City Hall. When they're finished, I run missions for the contact they introduce me to.
I keep running missions until I'm level 20.
I didn't even come into the game until around i13 and I'm still more retro than you, son. The sewer and the AE farms can lick my sphincter. -
Quote:I like that too. The best part is when you get back in RWZ and they are being all emo/dramatic in Broadcast about being booted. I LOVE Virtue Drama!Having been on a couple Zombie Man Lambdas, and having seen him kick people who emote through the cutscene, I gotta say I like it. I like that he warns the league not to do it and then follows through when someone does it anyway. He's not srs bsns about it, doesn't make a scene, just kicks.
-
If you are warned by the leader to not do it and you do it, then you should not be suprised by the result. If I had a trial of friends, sure I will cutscene bomb, but with a PuG of strangers, I wouldn't do it.
-
I identify "healer" as a role not an AT. Just like a "tank" is a role and not necessarily an AT. Plenty of other ATs other than defenders can pick up the role of healer as needed. Actually, on many of the trials I join it appears that defenders are in the minority. Out of 24 members there may be 4 defenders total. The point I am making is, yes the trial leader failed in assuming just because you were a defender you should be healing.
Anyone can lead a trail, but not everyone is good at it. Personally, I either form my own or watch for names of players that I know are capable. -
Thanks. I may have to take you up on that. I love a challenge.
-
I agree and have wondered about that myself. I assume Galaxy City is named after Galaxy Girl.
Quote:Why, when there are any number of topics to choose to create a thread about, would one choose THIS inane topic? I guess humans are just funny like that.
Really? Have you scanned over the other topics in this section lately? -
My account is staying VIP. My wife is returning to the game as a Premium player. She only plays about twice a month.

Thanks guys. I got lucky over the weekend and joined a pick up group for a SF. We finished it in less than 30 minutes. Quite a bit easier than STF. Still would love to do it again or do a MoLRSF
-
I will freely admit, I have never completed a LRSF. I tried it twice when it first came out, failed the last mission and then shelved my villains to play my much prefered heroes.
However, now that I can take my tanker over to the darkside for a visit I really want to give this SF another go on my tricked out WP/Stone Tanker. Back before I left the game there were people that regularly ran the LRSF on certain days of the week, they even had a dedicated global channel. Do any of those groups still exist?
I suppose what I am asking is whether or not anyone is planning a LRSF in the next few days. Would even be game for a MoLRSF. I would form my own but I am from the old school of thought that if you lead you better know the TF/SF. -
I would love this. Some of my fondest memories of CoH over the past 6+ years are of PvP. Even if I have never been hard core about it, I always had a great time when done with friends. Now, I dread going there because of the ridiculous changes in an attempt at balance.
Please do something about the PvP situation before CoH:Freedom launches. -
Redside isn't dead, it is full of blueside players visiting, briefly, for the badges.
-
I absolutely LOVE Will Power on my tanker. I currently play a WP/Stone as my main but was able to tweak the build some to make him WP/SS for you. Hopefully I did not miss anything. I slot sets to hit the HP cap and get as much regen as possible.

Quote:This. Majority of the people using the AE like to farm. Right now, I only use the AE to farm, grind, whatever you want to call it.Hall of Fame is awarded by the players, not the devs. It just shows that the majority of AE players are playing the same farms and rating them 5 stars if they do what they're supposed to - which is give XP - which is not hard to do. Meanwhile the minority of AE players play whatever story they happen to find, and rate it based on how they feel it should be rated, which for a good arc could be anywhere between 3 and 5 stars. Anything less than 5 moves the arc farther away from being Hall of Fame.

Quote:Typical bio consists of:
((Any Rp, Walk up encouraged, tells encouraged, Futa, Looking for sub))
[insert bio about how "she" smells like flowers, is not human, has mental powers of some kind, and also list all of her measurements. Oh and a theme song. Always remember the theme song.]
Typical RP consists of:
*giggles*
Bad emoting. (two male virgins trying to be sexy...nuff said...)
Hardcore walk toggling.
An eventual trip to the base teleporter.
Oddly enough the ERP crowd isn't the type that annoys me the most. The thing that bothers me is that everyone -not- ERPing in Pocket D is roleplaying the -exact- same character. Regardless of their backstory/character description/etc they will all be "smart alecs" who seem to have lifted their sense of humour straight from a badly written version of family guy. Even the demi-gods, paladins, robots, and whatever else all seem to be "chasing the joke".
I would love to meet some RPers who don't live vicariously through their characters.
If you're roleplaying a normal person sure. But if you're roleplaying a superhero/supervillain/etc it should be easy to strike up a situational conversation.
I much preferred Gemini Park because you'd actually find characters there that didn't look like they'd jumped straight out of a Cyberpunk RP.
God that is so funny because it is true! What is with the theme songs? Do they have wandering minstrels that follow them around? -
Quote:It happened once to Inertial, Hour Woman(?) and myself. We ended up in some villains Tutorial mission. He was quite shocked to encounter 3 level 50 heroes.I think I recall Grae saying over chat that he or someone else had zoned into their mission and they were having a hell of a lot of fun duking it out for the time that remained. I was dying out of envy that day.
I personally found Warburg PvP to be the most fun, mainly because it was FFA yet still didn't have pseudo limitations of the arena. That being said, the only PvP I tend to enjoy in any MMO is FFA where I can kick any smartarse in the head and then take his wallet.
The second time we zoned into a Skyway Mayhem mission. There was 8 heroes and 8 villains. They were quite a few levels lower than us but it was fun. This was before they gave us Safeguard missions.
Welcome back! -
The exact reason posted by the OP is why I plan to make my next character a Energy Blaster. I have never played it because of the "dreaded" KB. I want to learn to perfect it so others can see what an awesome set it can be.
-
I wouldn't mind going for the badge if you are gathering tonight. We used to be able to do this trial in 7 minutes but I think that exploit got fixed.
-
Perhaps if the request was phrased as non-trial incarnate progression path rather than solo path it would be better recieved?
-
I could get behind this and not even because of the data you posted. I just think we are getting weighed down with too many different "currency" forms. As long as the drop rate for threads in trials will always be much, much higher than outside of trials I would be all for making shards into threads.
