  1. Ah, cool beans Aero! I may see what I can come up with in terms of more "for your consideration" level 20 costumes myself! Having a level 40+ character with free tailor sessions tends to halp out 8D
  2. Oooh nice! And welcome to the team, chum!
  3. Interesting ideas for the costumes there guys! I can easilly whip up costume designs as I've got plenty of free tailor sessions left with Dr Mechanibus (My villainous, villainous villain!), and it doesn't take more than a couple of minutes to take a screenshot and upload it to the net. I too thaught that, yes, certain sections of the costume could be "swappable" with defining characteristics of the existing characters. At a guess, I would put those as:
    Jhonny's gloves
    Bastinado's eyepiece
    Solar Flare's head
    Carter's hairstyle

Unfortunatly, I can't figure out what Psyte's defining feature is, other than his stining wit, and High Burn's defining feature is, well, she's a girl.

If a redo of Bastinado is wanted, I'm always happy to lend a hand if I'm about, and we'll just have to see what sort of salvage is thrown up withour SG adventures for that big viewscreen.

Oh, and I don't know if you noticed it, but I put up an IC section in the form of a journal entry thingie

  4. ok, dunno if anyone else has gone ahead and done this, but here's my idea for a Hyperion Watchmen costume

    Hyperion Watchman scheme #1

I've used the "sightless" full mask in place of a regular face, because everyone has their own head to put in. The colours are put to a greater extreme than those in the SG colours just so you can see the patterning. The SG colours will, of course, take pecidence. And, of course, any defining feature of your characters can be used in place of the costume ones
  5. Journal of Arthur Penningworth-Smythe, entry 31664.
It's only been a short while since the assassination. Most people would call it an accident, but accident implies that there is no-one to blame, and I'm damn sure someone is to blame for Hyperion Star's death. That's why our little band formed. To find out. But I digress. Things havn't been too good for me recently. The new powers are amazing, but, I think that Mr Ember is going to get another test subject very soon. I'm not well, and I know, deep down, that it's connected to these powers and my age.
Being a hero again. Fun while it lasted. Not quite the same as in my day. All this accursed Rikti technology for one thing. I've relegated myself to a support role in the team, meaning that I'll deal primarily with base issues while I am still able to do so. Not as mobile as I used to be. And cold. So cold.
  6. (ooc: OK! For all you guys part of the Hyperion Watchmen SG - and you know who you are , this here is our IC journal as a group for keeping up to date on the goings on, research, rumers, and the like. Only IC journal-type stuff here please!)
  7. Cool! Miss newbie will be "hangin"

    A Magic team?

Hmmm. Well, I'm inclined toward villainy myself, mostle because I like to see the bad guys win once in a while 8D But here goes for ideas

1 (hero): Ever get that "right place at the right time" feeling? Well these guys did. Out in Perez Park for their own individual reasons, yet moving together as a group for protection, they are thrown right into the tick of it when a superhero is beaten down and nearly killed by a group of Thorns. Having his emergency transporter disabled, and death looming, he gifted each one of those people a magical artifact, telling them to use them to bring justice back to the streets.

2 (villain): Thugs are common on the Rogue Isles, wether they be part of a larger group like the Hellions, or small, independant gangs that operate under Arachnos' radar. One such group of thugs got more than they bargained for when they broke into an abandoned warehouse in search of shelter and a potential looting. What they found were smuggled artefacts that bestowed on each one a mystical power. Now, empowered far more than before, they are gonna be the top gang in town...

3 (variable) Not everyone is happy with life in Paragon City and the Rogue Isles. Most complaints about the standard of law keeping are just meaningless mumbles. But for some, it's something deeper. A gnawing that they can't ignorge, and certain shadowy organisations know just where to find these people. Altering local papers, and subtly influencing some of these people's lives, they are drawn into the midst of a huge ritual, designed to enhance these luckless folks and make them pawns against the heroic community. However, the ritual was not compleated, leaving these unwilling participants with power and a choice - use these powers for the good of mankind, or to bring down those ruling bodies and place their own order there...

I can probably think of more if given time
  11. I hope so too, cos I'm waiting for my episode to air. I checked out youtube, but only found episodes 1 and 2 there
  12. Nyooooooo! The talkshow is off the air! What are we gonna do now? *sob*

Seriously, something's up with the site...

    A Magic team?

Hell, I'm well known for generating all kinds of alts! I'd sign up as I'm getting kinda bored trying to slog Crozius up to the next milestone of 40..

    A Magic team?

There was a chance that Chove's team was going to be magic, but we decided apon science in the end
  15. Today seemed somewhat shorter than last time, but I could be wrong. Anyway, I hope everyone liked Miss DeSusa. I thaught it would be an idea to hold a quick poll to see who should be the full-timer, and who should be a part-timer. The choices are:
    Moonfrost - Archery/Frost blaster
    High Burn - Radiation/Radiation defender

I've already got 2 votes for "Burnie", and stories in mind for both depending on which way it all goes.

And just as a reminder, next time - Saturday 24th, 10am - 2pm (at which time I'm off for a birthday do)
  16. Oh, I've added 7 cabinets to the base. Reasoning being this: as a short amount of time has passed since their last meeting, Moonfrost has been to the Icon store in Steel Canyon to have new costumes created. This is basically an excuse to run around in SG colours 8D
  17. I'm ok for this Saturday, so long as it is in the evening (ie: after 7pm), because otherwise I would be at work
  18. Well, I think we should limit levelling to just team meets, but should be free to log on for badge hunting, but only so long as it would result in no/negligable xp.

And later on, when we get more powerful, perhaps it would be possable to log on during a Sunday, say, and do the odd task force? I can see it being able to be spun into the storyline, or even as a side thing as our heroes get regognised by the Freedom Phalanx
  19. Ah! A new arrival on the Rogue Isles for DR Mechanibus to study and gague his worthieness!
  20. Right! Well, I'd say tonight's run was a good start! Great to see everyone (except Gaz 8P), and real good roleplaying all round! I got an idea for our base, so I'll see if i can knock it up tomorrow. I'm calling it "The Bunker", and it'll be Moonfrost's old supergroup's base.

    That all ok?
  21. Ah! Well, different reason for me, you see. Good film released + only day off from work + parents like the look of it = going out
  22. Might not be able to make wednesday at 8, as I'm taking my pareants out to see Hot Fuzz. Of course, depend apon what time it's at the cinema...
