try this.

I think your correct. It would be nice if we had a /em dance01 - 06 I would use it (I hate that monkey dance).

Prior to I-5 I had RPD (6), Rel (6), Ren (6) TI (6) Uny (6) Inv (6) and TH (6) Dull Pain (2) I spent 36 slots in my primary. Put 6 slots more in health, 6 in endurance, 3 in fly and 4 in Taunt (15 more for 51 out of 67 slots leaving 16 slots for attacks I had 3 attacks fully slotted thats it.
My secondary is Ice so I do not do a lot of damage. My strategy was to out live my opponents and slowly whittle them down. Im not a min/max guy. Id say I was more of a Max defense guy. I maxed out all of my defenses. Yes it was overkill. I know that now. But unless you read the boards a lot you dont know what the best slotting is. I wanted to be an Invulnerable Tank, So I spent all my slots on defense. When I made Ace I did not read the boards. I leveled him to 50 prior to discovering the boards (and how crappy Ice is for a secondary as compared to some of the other secondary power sets).
Now with I-5 even though I vastly over slotted all my defenses I could not take the aggro of even a small group that did damage other than strictly S&L (I had to run more often than not, I felt like I was in my blaster again). I had to change him into a Scranker for survivability. I can now survive better than I could (3 attacks and 4 holds fully slotted) but he is not as fun to play anymore. I spent a long time leveling him and am not happy that for survivability I had to make him into a scranker. If I wanted to make a low damage scrapper I would have made one in the first place. In I-5 the Nerfs cut to deep. Changing something that I have played for nearly a year is not right.
Here are the numbers for Invulnerable Tanks (posted below) the first 3 powers (RPD, Rel, and Ren) are not worth slotting at all anymore. Some say they are not worth getting anymore. RPD is not if youre a level 50 and you have access to SOs that are above 50 (51++, 52+, or 53) they will bring you to the cap if you have enough to place in TI and Uny.
As promised here are the current numbers for Invulnerable Tanks
Resist Physical Damage (RPD) is 7.5% resistance to smashing and lethal and each single origin (SO) enhance damage resistance (DamRes) enhancement provides 1.5% more (16.5% with 6 SO's)
Resist Elements (REl) is 7.5% resistance to fire, cold and toxic and each single origin (SO) enhance damage resistance (DamRes) enhancement provides 1.5% more (16.5% with 6 SO's)
Resist Energies (REn) is 7.5% resistance to energy and negative and each single origin (SO) enhance damage resistance (DamRes) enhancement provides 1.5% more (16.5% with 6 SO's)
Unyielding (Uny) is 10% resistance to all types except psionic (only 5% to smashing and lethal), and each SO DamRes enhancement provides 2% more, (1% smashing and lethal). It also provides status-effect protection (hold, sleep, disorient, knock, immobilize) that increases with level up to level 35. It also has a 5% defense debuff (So with 6 slotted Unyielding you get 11% Smashing and lethal, 22% to all other's except Psionic)
Temporary Invulnerability (TI) provides 30% resistance to smashing and lethal and each SO DamRes enhancement provides 6% more (66% with 6 SOs)
Invincibility (Inv) provides 1.5% melee defense (0.75% ranged) to all but psionic damage for every foe in melee range up to 14 foes and also adds a to-hit bonus for every foe in melee range up to 14 foes. It also provides a melee Taunt effect. Each SO DefBuf provides 0.3% melee (0.15% ranged) more
Tough Hide (TH) is 5% defense to all types except toxic and psionic. Each SO enhance defense buff (DefBuf) enhancement provides 1% more (11% total if you want to waste 6 SOs in the power). (if you get TH but not slot it, it will make up for Unys 5% defense debuff).
(Thank you for the numbers Buffy). -

Neither. But I'd expect one around Halloween as a treat. Not sure what the coinciding trick may be though.

I'd also like to make an addition to this list. Well, I guess it's more of a comment. I forgot to mention someone, although I'm not sure as to how I could have ever forgotten her: Goddess should be at the top of the list, because she's a hell of a good player and she's always been more than willing to help out and answer my n00b questions, so, without further adeiu, I'd like to ask Goddess to come forward and be recognized for all that she's done for this server.

blue, will this work for only 2 things to activate? b/c on my blaster i've got about 3-4 things i like to activate before entering a mob fight. could i string all those together to 1 key? if not brining it down from 4 keys to 2 is still nice. thanks.
[/ QUOTE ]
not sure what your 3 or 4 things are you need to activate. but I use this for my Tank. It will activate 1 toggle que and activate the next toggle. press numlock again and it will activate the next toggle and que the following toggle. so you would have to press the same button twice but it is the same button.
numlock "+ $$powexectoggleon Temp Invulnerability$$powexectoggleon Invincibility$$powexectoggleon Assault$$powexectoggleon Tactics$$powexectoggleon Maneuvers$$powexectoggleon Weave$$powexectoggleon Unyielding" -

you made a mistake in the bind... remember that bind commands run backwards, meaning if you have a bind setup like the following...
/bind key "action 3$$ action 2$$ action 1"
that'll be how the bind activates, so you unselect at the right time, but you try to heal BEFORE you target your team mate, so just reverse them like this...
/bind Shift+F1 "unselect$$ powexec_name Heal Other$$ team_select 1"
that way you target your pal, then heal, then unselect...
that's all for now, I'm rather tired, so I'm sorry about the sloppy post, heh... oh, and I also have other cool stuff in the mix, but you'd have to hang with me on justice to find out
[/ QUOTE ]
hmmm...
if they do run backwards like you say then I think a better bind would be this.
/bind Shift+F1 "$$powexec_name Heal Other$$team_select 1$$unselect "
unselecting anyone or anything you have selected then selecting team member 1 then heal. I might have to try them both and the old one to see which works best. -
[ QUOTE ]
Well, I finally figured out the first bind problem I was having (/bind numpad7 beginchat /send "Inf Badge Seeker") so that's all settled. Now, I'm trying to figure out why this one I'm trying to make won't work.
/bind Shift+F1 "unselect$$ team_select 1$$ powexec_name Heal Other"
is it just because I can't make Shift+F1 a bind key? or am I doing something totally wrong?
[/ QUOTE ]
try it without the space after unselect$$
/bind Shift+F1 "unselect$$team_select 1$$powexec_name Heal Other"
or maybe F13? -

Since I have not played with many of the regulars here I cannot comment on them, but since I had the opportunity to play through Outbreak last night with Golden Ace's new toon, Golden Arrows, I just wanted to add him to this list. I had a good time just chatting away. And it took me forever to finally get out of that place, because I chat way too much, but I got the isolator badge and a level for my efforts.
Thanks Golden Ace for making it an enjoyable time.

Had a great Time! It was a lot of fun. lol I thought I was Incognito I was really surprised when you sent me a tell asking "Hey are you Golden Ace from the forums?" I had a great time! On the team. I made a bunch of lowby characters last night to get the free respec on them. I have to admit that teaming with you was one of the Highlights of the evening. It's always nice to team with one of the people I know on the forums. Although I think we chatted more than we played. It was fun.
SlaveDawg Your a great guy! Thanks! -
BURN as a useful power IS DEAD. I have no use for it now at all, and my Fire Tank is now able to Tank Better than my Invulnerable Tank. sigh.

Personally, I rebind all of my inspiration keys and all of the HUD keys a-purpose, because I never use the keyboard for those things and I don't want to be able to do them by accident. I can't imagine a situation in which I'd need to change my HUD so fast that I couldn't use a single mouse click.
As far as "do not touch" goes, you should never rebind the middle mouse button to anything you'll want to hold down for, such as jump or forward. Holding it down engages the swivel camera regardless of what's bound to the key. Similarly, ESC is the standard "unqueue" key, which frees whatever is bound to that key; rebinding that means that to a power means that you have a tossup as to whether the power tries to execute and then unqueues, or vice versa.
[/ QUOTE ]
I do the same thing. I reformated all the Function keys to different binds. to what i find more convenient F1 Run, F2 Ready, F3 Battle Cry, F4 End Rest, F5 rotating Taunts. F6 Target is here. F7 blank, F8 Congratulations, F9- F12 costume changes.
my number pad numpad1 - numpad8 each changes my rotating binds to a different bind, so i can switch from "a few of my favorite things, to the monkeys, or gilligans island, Jingles, etc... I just keep pressing the F5 key until the song is over then select a new numpad key to start a different song. I put the music notes in them so I sing everything. -

You will not be able to /petition to get these badges if you completed the TF before I5. So please do not flood the GMs with /petitions trying to get the badges. They can NOT award them.

Is there a Dev petitioning Badge? Because if there is... -

Is there a way to target specific characters and then follow?
For example; when I hit "g" I always want to target the hero "Captain Cliche" and then follow him.
[/ QUOTE ]
No.
At least not as you have stated. Ive never tried it, but you might be able to follow a person on your team by using the following binds.
numpad1 "+ $$unselect$$teamselect 1$$follow"
numpad2 "+ $$unselect$$teamselect 2$$follow"
numpad3 "+ $$unselect$$teamselect 3$$follow"
numpad4 "+ $$unselect$$teamselect 4$$follow"
numpad5 "+ $$unselect$$teamselect 5$$follow"
numpad6 "+ $$unselect$$teamselect 6$$follow"
numpad7 "+ $$unselect$$teamselect 7$$follow"
numpad8 "+ $$unselect$$teamselect 8$$follow"
Sorry best I can do. -
Noctar you beat me to it
/bind L "$$powexec_name Snipe"
will work. try this too if you like.
/bind L "+ $$powexec_name Build up$$powexec_name Snipe" -
Post I had on the Tanker thread. Think it fits in well with your Guide. Did not want it to disappear. I put to much work into it for that.
I got side tracked on my last post. The best damage dealing Tank for single target damage is Energy Melee which has the two most devastating attacks in the Tanker Secondary (Energy Transfer, & Total Focus), followed by Super Strength (Knockout Blow), Fiery Melee (Greater Fire Sword), and Battle Axe (Cleave).
As for multiple targets Boy thats a tough question. Battle Axe has the highest Multiple Target Attack however Fiery Melee has two of the top 5 Multiple target attacks.
Overall winner IMO is Fiery Melee. It has 2 of the top single target attacks and 2 of the top multiple target attacks.
Top Single Target Attacks

I say the heck with Defiance give blasters some sort of Ranged Defense. The further you are from whoever is shooting at you the better your defense is. Cap it at 50% for extreme range and 0% for melee.

Teamed with a few new people tonight.
Chillie Blane (blaster)
Kirmond deagon (controller)
I did not have Kirmond sk'd so he could get rid of some debt. the mobs were +8's to him. he held them wow. Then we went on to take care of Battle Maiden. could never have done it with out them. Thanks guys. -
Experiment-666 Awsome Controller! I've been teaming with him a lot lately, and he has kept me alive in some Very hairy situations. even dying himself while saving me. Hey 6 thanks for the help on Inferno tonight too.
