Actually, thinking about Loki, we don't really have an effortlessly sexy villain like him in the game - so many of them seem are either lacking in looks or personality - or both
Sleazy ones like Captain Castillo or Praetorian Percy don't count, as they're trying too hard - and failing - the Loki type need to be accidently sexy, and doesn't really acknowledge it, as he's too busy with his evil plans. -
Quote:That wouldn't solve the problem of massively overpowered players farming the earlier Trials - it might even encourage it.The best solution would be to simply increase the amount of salvage necessary to craft later Incarnate powers. A Tier 1 suddenly requires 3 Commons, 3 Uncommons and 2 Empyrean Merits; a Tier 2 requires 3 Commons, 3 Uncommons, 2 Rares and 4 Empyrean Merits... and so on.

If they start giving too many more shifts, they'll need to add some kind of scaled back rewards or exemplaring for the lower level Trials - like getting, say, the current Keyes Island reward table for fighting gray mobs and a green Anti-matter would be unbalanced.
-
The number of planned shifts seems to be vague - when the 10 slots were first announced, along with a shift for Alpha, a lot of people assumed that there'd be a shift with each slot.
As far as I know the devs haven't ever said in public that 1 slot = 1 level. -

While some kind of achievement/level recognition text option would have been cool, don't forget that this is a 30-40 mission that can be played by any VIP or purchaser, and doesn't require SSA1 to unlock it - so it's quite possible that while long-term players with +3 Incarnates are playing it, there are also new players who have only just hit 30 on their first avatar who decide to try it out.
-
They might intend to do it the opposite way from the Avengers - use a JL movie to launch spin-off movies, with the actors cast as, say, Wonder Woman and Flash going to on star in any solo follow-ups.

For anyone who can't wait until next month, SSA2.2 is up on beta right now

I've already suggested the Bad Romance chorus dance moves as a new emote

Quote:Well, he's got the combination of accent, looks, and playing a dark and angsty character with massively slashy possibilities - that's a pretty sexy combinationAlthough isn't it interesting that with all those beefy hunks in Avengers, the one who seems to be causing the most fangirl swooning is Tom Hiddleston...

I think that underwater fighting and movement could be "faked" with a permanent zone-wide version of Group Fly - only with a trail of bubbles instead of the usual air trail effects of flying, and the use of the current swimming animation as the default fly pose.
This would mean that no new animations would be needed, and the ability to select the normal fly psoes would also let people move through the water in a non-swimming way if they wanted to - like if they were a robot or other non-human thing.
A second underwater option is for something like an underwater city or base, which would have us under the sea, but not actually in the water - we'd be indoors, but be able to see the sea through the windows - like the way we can see the rest of the zone when we're inside an AE building. -
It's grown-up Penny Yin - she's joined the Freedom Phalanx as the replacement for Sister Psyche, and also features in the first episode of the new SSA that came out today.

It's possible that the tights pack that they're working on might include parts that could be used for swimwear.

How is it possible that you ignored including a screenshot using the SSA1.7 space map?

Quote:He didI think that's not true. If he despised and feared humanity and wanted to commit world wide genocide on primal earth - why not start on Praetoria, leaving behind a small cadre of followers and minions to do things.
Also, these are Tyrant's own views on humanity and who he's accountable to:
Quote:"People are weak. At least when it comes to doing the right thing. That is why you cannot give them the choice to do what is wrong. I have done so in Praetoria, and look at how it has flourished. Primal Earth, however, allows this to continue, even with some of the worst examples of humanity. That is why it must be wiped away. They know of our perfect world and already, as you have seen, they seek to destroy us.
People, when left to their own free will, will seek only to destroy that which is good, that which is pure. I will not give them the option to do that. I will strike them down before they can actand ensure that no others ever get the chance to make that choice, the choice to destroy. Humanity cannot be trusted with that choice of destruction; only someone like myself can."
- and that for society to be "perfect", humans can't be given any choice in how it's run - and only he knows what's best for everyone.
What's interesting about his delusions is that while he seems hung up on not letting humanity be "destructive", he seems to think that destroying anyone that opposes him is fine.
His basic line of reasoning in his little speech is "I must destory millions of humans to stop them being destructive" - and those millions become trillions once his plans to conquer noit just primal Earth but all of existence are taken into account.
His grand plan to "save" humanity is to slaughter, torture and enslave his way across the multiverse. -
The loading screen artist scores points for at least drawing her in a pose that can be done in real life.

SSA 2.1 is 30-40 - the SSAs use a a different progress timeline from the 1-50 content, so the level ranges can be whatever the devs feel are required to best tell the story of each episode.

It's the next chapter in the Rainbow Penny Yin Happy Fun Action Show - what's not to like?

All tyrants are evil - that's why they called him Tyrant =p
Monarchies that have zero power are just quaint and pretty harmless - but monarchies with any kind of power at all are bad - power always needs to be accountable.
Tyrant isn't accountable to anyone - he's immortanl, and until the foirces of justice arrived from Primal Earth, he was invincible.
He despises and fears humanity, and attempted world wide genocide on Primal Earth in an attempt to enslave it as the start of a planned conquest of all of exitence - he's the most evil character they'd put in the game so far. -

That one's been used several times already.

Option 1 was made just to work down the sides - option 2 works better at the top.
