Quote:Yeah, it's like targeting an exhaust port instead of attacking a huge armored space station head on with a small fleet of fighters - totally unfair and cheating.I feel its a bit of a shady win (Ignoring the really hard way badge). Technically we really didnt defeat Tyrant at his full strength we exploited a hole in his armor sort to speak. It reminds me of how Statesman dies. Wade is very weak versus him but takes advantage of a ritual to bring him down.
It would be like the equal of beating Superman with an armor of Kryptonite and guns that shoot it versus going toe to toe and beating him at full strength.
I feel we did this to Tyrant, we didnt best him because we were stronger, we simply disconnected his Well connection rendering him powerless and that to me that feels like an empty win.
Had we not done that, how would of Tyrant faired against the Battalion I wonder? -

Quote:You're reading way too much into thisWell, people can have two grandfathers (maternal and paternal).
That would make Ms. Liberty's father (Patrick Duncan) the son of Positron.
Typical last-naming conventions would defy this, though Patrick Duncan could have been adopted while retaining his old family name. -
Quote:They can't let old computers hold them back fom developing better graphicsLow-end graphics in Praetoria and the new Atlas Park are horrendous enough that I wish Atlas had never been changed. It's uglier now than it was before, unless you pony up for a computer that can render fancy graphics settings.

I've run more Incarnate Trials in the last 12 months than in the previous 12 months.

Request a QQ one too - it'd make is much easier and quicker to complain in chat about something that way.

Quote:That's not going to happen - Praetoria is defined by the freedom vs tyranny theme, and the whole world was written to be limited in its scope to highlight that theme. If Praetoria is to be expanded into a legitimate progression path, then it's going to need to break from the war... And it's going to need a LOT of content to do it.
Right from Precinct 5, the story has been created to lead up to the dimensional war and the final tirumph of freedom over tyranny - a 1-50 Praetorian path will always be domninated by the war. -
This certainly seem to take the coffee talk to the next level - and the only negative that I could see - the archive only going back 2 weeks - doesn't really matter as you're going to store them on the YouTube channel too.
I don't really count the lack of a question emoticon as a negative - the skull works just as well -
With more cosmic content on the way, it's possible that the devs could create a story arc for Villains to take over/destroy another planet - but that would open up massive motivation and logic problems in all follow-up red side content.

I wasn't home to watch this live, and I can't see a recording of it listed on the Twitch page or on the YouTube channel.

Soloing works for me - just like teaming does too
-
I'm assuming the switch is down to Twitch being able to handle live in-game streaming better than UStream?

It needs a revamp - which would mean more Penny

Quote:Imperial City is still intact, and Neuron's tower is also visible from the ruins of the Magisterium, along with the sonic fences.Tyrant kinda nuked the place. Not just Nova, either, as far as I can tell. The Imperial City is totally visible from the Magisterium in Praetoria normally...can't recall seeing it after the blast. That would seem to indicate that, y'know, there's no more Praetoria.
The scope the blast was also so limited that the buildings across the street from the Magisterium are undamaged. -

Quote:The Resistance/loyalist dynamic from GR couldn't be supported past level 20 - the GR stories were written to pace the revelations of the evil of the dictatorship so that by 20 everyone would be against Tyrant.I kind of like First Ward, if it hadn't been for Praetoria they'd have been my favourite arcs.
BUT after Praetoria they feel like a throwback, yesterday's way of storytelling in COH. They feel like the old COH arcs (albeit better written) but with none of the bells and whistles we had in Praetoria. (like persistence of choices, etc.)
