Actually, it was hard to hear exactly what they said, as Positron was roaring with laughter and shoveling kittens into a furnace when he answered the question about the packs.

Holidays have gotten worse - it's harder to do other stuff now when they give us more and more holiday content.

I liked that the minimum/zero effects for Hasten response has moved up from "we're aware of it" to "we can't talk about it".
Also, the next hairstyle we're getting is "definately not from the 20th century". -

There are 5 repeatable contacts in FW - one is neutral, so anyone can use him, 2 are for Villains/loyalists, and 2 are for Heroes/Resistance.

It's a great area of the game - the Resistance Warden path is the one that makes the most sense if you're planning on going 1-40, rather than 1-20, as it's the one that's best supported in First Ward and Night Ward, and it's also the one that feeds the smoothest into the Incanrate storyline.

They pulled a crocodile head and some lizard parts at the last minute from the original animal pack, with hints that they'd release them in another way in the future.
-
This has been requested quite a lot - I think it's possible they could make a 2nd animal pack with the amount of stuff that the 1st one didn't cover.

A Music Manipulation set might be a better request

Quote:This seems to be quite a common misunderstanding - that feedback must be acted on, beacsue it's feedback. There was a whole feedback thread pretty much full of people who didn't want to see these going on sale and they completely ignored it.
The important thing to rememebr is that when a lot of these changes or additions to the game are first announced, it's already too late to stop them - for example, we didn't know Galaxy City was being destroyed until it was already done, or we didn't know about superpacks until they were already done, or we didn't know about the CoT revamp until it was already done - in cases like those, the "don't do it" feedback is pointless, and won't be acted on, because the development process is already too far advanced.
The useful kind of feedback is suggesting how to refine and tweak the changes or new content - like with the CoT revamp, for example - no amount of "don't do it" feedback would stop the revamp - instead, useful feedback was suggesting that the models should have the more robe-like appearance at all levels, instead of the lower level ones having just snakeskin tights on their legs, and that all the faces should be hidden, instead of the original plan of having some with exposed faces.
The Amplifiers were alread planned out, coded and put into a beta build of the game before we got a chance to give feedback - that means that they were never going to be removed - the only useful feedback fro them would be suggestions on how to tweak them, not get rid of them. -
Quote:You could always buy a sports car or a yacht to make yourself feel better.I don't really have a problem with the new Faultline. It's a cool zone with a very good story. But I can't agree that it gets the same point across. I guess if you consider "the point" to be massive destruction, that I could see, but we have a number of zones that do that on a much larger scale - Boomtown, Eden, and now Siren's Call. What the old Faultline was to me, however, was "big." Big enough to challenge the draw distance looking straight down. Big enough for me to drop half a mile down a sheer dam wall. Big enough to stand at the foot of the thing, look straight up and marvel at it.
I like big things and I cannot lie. And honestly, since CoV, we've been running on an economy of size. Even Recluse's Tower, the one that's supposed to be big and huge and imposing, is still pretty small. It's tall, sure, but even then not very, and it's so skinny! Honestly, think about it and tell me what the biggest single thing in the game is in your opinion, not counting the Shadow Shard. If you defaulted to the Terra Volta Reactor Complex cooling towers, then I agree with you, but besides that? Honestly, what else big is there that we have left? -
Cross-server teaming should really be standard in every MMO that doesn't use a single server environment.

I'm pretty sure that DA and Belladonna's arc count as 4-8 person Incarnate content
