All separate eye maskes need a white eye option too

That's what I'm hoping for too - even if they just use normal mapping to give the impression of more curves and less straight lines then it'd be cool.

Quote:Green eyes...I really don't see why people have so many problems with Penny.
Quote:I mean, she had been foreshadowed as an unusually powerful psychic way back in the Faultline arcs. (She was the only one they knew who was powerful enough to disable the PCM, she subconsciously hijacks clockwork...) If people didn't expect Penny to be more important later on, that's on them.
The current post-GR storytelling phase is much more fluid and dynamic, so foreshadowing happens a lot more often, and we get a lot more returning and developing NPCs -

Quote:And there is always this:If the Apocalypse happens in the 80s, then there is ALWAYS room for fashion!

Quote:But that's kinda the style of post-apocalyptic clothing - the world is meant to have fallen into a more primitive and violent state, and there's not really much room for focusing on fashion and style when you're struggling to survive, so more feminine clothing is going to be pretty rare.As a female player with female characters I have to say this entire costume pack leaves me cold. One of the great joys of this game has been the tremendous flexibility offered in customization with the costumes. The last pack was awesome but I see little to entice me on this one. I know the female version is coming out but if they're based on what I've seen so far I think this will be one pack that I won't add to the collection.

Quote:New tights are also being worked onAt least the few players that had enough money to shell out to fly to the con, or lived in the area already. I, along with a large number of folks that have asked for years, would prefer a Golden or Silver Age Heroes pack over a Fallout pack any day.

The Freakshow could use a few of these parts if they ever get a makeover

Quote:I'm not sure that the Marvel movies count as the tail anymore - they generate way more cash and reach a way larger audience than Marvel comics - it just seems like common sense now to flip the creation process and have the movies generate comics rather than the comics generate movies.Slowly, but surely, Marvel is starting to let the "tail wag the dog". The movie is infecting the other universes where stories and characters are being adapted more to the movies than vise-versa. If the movies start to tank, there will be a lot of collateral damage.
The size of the movie going public compared to the comic reading public, combined with the price of movie tickets compared to the price of comics means that Marvel earn more from movies like Daredevil than from their most popular comics.
Or, to give another example, WB/DC made far more money from "Batman and Robin" than they ever made from the most popular DC comic series just like they did with "Green Lantern" and "Superman Returns" - and the profits that they've made from the current Batman trilogy leaves the entire DC comics range in the dust. -
I don't think that the player base is big enough to support 2 versions of the same game.

Quote:Well, Odysseus has been getting quite a lot of screen time recently - like he's now one of the more fleshed-out faction leaders - so someone at the studio must feel that he and his gang are still useful to the story.I'm right there with you. I think the studio just considers them superfluous these days. Their schtick is that they are the natural origin villains; the guys who are literally warriors because they train and hone their skills without benefit of super powers. That's about all they ever amounted to in terms of the game. They're just the "Talos Island Gang".
After eight years, they're still getting their butts handed to them by the Freakshow in all of the street battles. In every other zone, the developers split the street conflicts evenly between the warring factions, but in Talos Island, for some reason the Warriors are portrayed as the losers in all of the battles and they're even given really wimpy, lame dialog to boot. Nobody seems to care to fix it. Given that, I conclude that nobody at the studio has any kind of investment in them. -
