  1. I'm surprised no one asked about what Crey might be getting up to regarding borrowing a few refugee Olympian Guards to use their DNA

    Oy. What a tangled mess.
A lot of it depends on what level they start the Battalion Incarnate content at - if they start it at 50, then that can shift the Praetorian Incarnate content to "historical" and not "now".

The Magisterium trial makes it clear that Cole feels death is a better fate for his people than being forced to surrender to Primal Earth. If he's willing to kill his people to fight off Primal Earth, he's also going to be likely to consider death to Hamidon preferrable to surrender to Primal Earth.
    That was my point
  4. I wonder if we might get to meet Tyrant in the Zig, unless the Vanguard are holding him someplace else, like they did with Battle Maiden?

Yeah, I24 is full of Battalion content now that Praetoria's been finished off.

And we've got the devs saying fan reception to Praetoria wasn't what they'd hoped so it was time to press on.
    No we've not

That's becauss they were - we'd defeated all the other loyalists AVs except those last 3 ones, plus Nega-Pendragon.

They should have went deeper.. drag it out at least one more issue
We spent 5 Issues, 3 TFs, 1 Incarnate arc and 7 Trials spread over the course of almost 2 years to rout Tyrant and the loyalists and crush their dictatorship - that's deep enough

That the Hamidon would give Tyrant a chance to prove that humans could be made "better" - so Tyrant made sure that all the humans he ruled were made "better" by stripping them of their humanity.
Once Primal Earth came into contact with Praetoria, Tyrant was afraid that the actions of the Primal humans would make the Hamidon realize than humanity couldn't be made "better", and so it'd break off it's truce.
Tyrant planned on launching a very quick war of conquest to wipe out the superpowered people on Primal Earth, and open up a new world that was free from the Hamidon.
When the invasion failed, the Hamdion saw that humans were as warlike and destructive as ever, and that Tyrant had failed to keep his end of the deal, so it summoned the Devouring Earth to launch a final attack on Praetoria City to wipe out humanity once and for all.

Interestingly, at no stage did Tyrant ever consider asking Primal Earth for help against the Hamidon, or asking them if they could help him evacuate the reamining Praetorian people to Primal Earth.

But surely in a mirror dimension it would already have been a well-made, high-quality popular series?

Has he forgiven Dominatrix for setting him up to be banished from Nova Praetoria to Lambda Sector, or does he plan on speakong to her sternly about it if they run into each other on primal Earth?
  11. An interesting side effect of the new St. Martial content is to give Villains a long term goal for taking part in the Incarnate Trials - having exploited the Heroes by using them to help destroy Tyrant and his armies, removing the threat of the loyalist invasion disrupting the Villains' schemes, Praetoria is now open for full scale pillaging.
  12. I could see some RWZ Longbow-Vanguard style tension in Brickstown between any ex-Resistance and ex-loyalists working there.

It isn't - the Praetorian version of Paragon City was called Shroud City, and was wiped out in a nuclear attack at the start of the Hamdion Wars.

Does this mean that the Preatoria places are going to be gone?...Maurauder is already in Preatoria....so does this mean someone else is going to be there?
No - the Praetorian zones are all before the Incarnate war - the new content in I24 takes palce after the war.

The overview says that the new KR content involves BAB and the Regulators asking for heroes to come help them - so it sounds like BAB will be getting more screentime, probably asa contact.

Sometimes, sometimes not - that's why this is hard to call

But replacing one classic-looking Primal superhero with 3 Praetorians as the first thing players see after the tutorial seems kinda left field, especially as the post-war content doesn't look like it's starting until 30.
Marauder and Aurora replacing Manticore and Swan in Brickstown would flow better, I think.

As none of the 3 are displaying contact/trainer rings at their feet, along with the fact that it'd be kinda weird to have 3 NPCs put so close together like that, could imply that that shot is more symbolic than literal.

Weighting - most of the Incarnate story was generated through Primal side contacts and content (whether it was iTrial related or not).
That's because the 1-20 content made everyone a Primal

I call speciesism!!!!

(Seriously, though, let's at least let the Rikti Traditionalists take over a revamped Crey's Folly, try to reclaim that area from the Crey, Rikti, and Freakshow scavengers there. Throw 'em a bone, eh?)
I think we might get more Rikti content for the Coming Storm - their knowledge about the Battalion and how they defeated it is certain to be vital to the defense of Primal Earth and its allied dimensions.

But that was always going to be the case - multi-team Trials need as many players available as possible, so separate faction Trials were never an option - if a genuine 1-50 faction like Villains weren't going to get separate Trials, a 1-20 temporary faction like Praetoria was never going to get any either.
