Quote:Well, you can DFB to 50 an then have Ramiel contact you as a suitable person to help save the multiveseWhile there are probably design reasons for this decision, I like to think that much in the way you have to have been an established villain or hero(I.e. level 20 or higher) to "turn" you'd have to have been a rogue or vigilante for a while before people would consider you "grey" enough for their "questionable" work.
Plus, from what I've heard, the Vigilante and Rogue Tips and alignment missions have the player carrying out enough high profile acts that could easily attract the attention of gray contacts. -
SSA1 had 7 episodes, SSA2 will have 5 - the release schedule is based on roughly one episode a month, with a longer break between each series, so once SSA2 is finsihed, SSA3 is unlikely to start the following month.

For the zones, Dark Astoria is now 50, but the old version of it, called an "echo", is able to be accessed via ouroboros.
Kings Row and Brickstown are both getting complete mob spawn overhauls in Issue 24 - the Brickstown revamp doesn't change the range of the zone, but the Kings Row revamp has currently changed it to a 7-20 zone - although this could still be changed based on the beta feedback, especially regarding the starting level for the zone. -
Penny is just expressing herlself, which is one of the main purposes of clothes

Quote:I think that the warm tears of gratitude from the grays would have drowned out any complaints about more 20-30 contentI suspect it's in part due to the fact that there is just a ridiculous amount of content in the 20-30 range at this point, and very little (in comparison) 30-40. Hence, it was probably realized that introducing yet more 20-30 arcs would probably just be bad PR.
-
Quote:My guess is that they chose 30-40 to tie in with the 30-50 blue and red stuff in I24, and plan to release 20-30 and 40-50 gray arcs in the future.Excellent point. I'd be curious to hear about the whys and wherefore's in that respect. I suppose it might be that they figure that the alignment missions themselves are content enough at those levels and that the new content is more to give them something else to do than repeat the same tip missions over and over.

Combat upgrades and new game enhancements are always welcome.

The I24 Incarnate arc contact comes pretty close to openly hero-worshipping us

That's why I mean it's strange - players who want to play gray don't actuaƶyl get any gray content until 10 levels after they can switch - like a Vigilante at 20 finds that they're still either doing full-on Hero content, or now have access to full-on Villain content, while a Rogue at 20 discovers that they continue to have access to full-on Villain content, while now getting to play full-on Hero content - if the new gray arcs started at 20, Vigilantes and Rogues would get them as an instant unlock once they'd turned gray, which would flow much better - they'd see instant results for their actions.

They've been doing that since Issue 6

Quote:Then don't just sit here weeping in General Discussion and passively waiting for the full horror of I24 to hit you - get on the beta server, play the arcs, and give feedbackI'm worried about this, myself. I can say that recent storytelling has at least gotten me to stop hating it, but I'll still need more decent material before my faith is restored to any real degree.

There could also be a "Hate Button" for everything post-Issue 17.

I loved them - lots of depth, plenty of twists, turns and call backs to older content and lore, especially the 1-20 Praetorian content, interesting characters and situations, some suitable closure and some new plot hooks, and some very cool cutscenes.
-
That's because he was kept under control - this wasn't one of his vanity projects where he has license to indulge his trademark "coolness" for a season before cancellation - it was a carefully planned operation that was the climax of several years of work from other directors and writers who had established the universe, situations and characters that the movie would use.
-
I think there'll be more hot, salty tears of rage after I24

One of the things thast gives the impression of the skyscrapers being further part than they really are is the city architects' apparent love afair with overhangs - the footprint of almost every tall building is quite a bit smaller than the actual width of the rest of the building, creating wider ground level spaces than the air spaces.
-
Kings Row and Brickstown are both missing the upgraded tress, rocks and grass that DA got - those make a big difference to the look of an old zone.
-
Expanding the personal story missions to non-Incarnate content is a great move.
