    Like others said, the TF as a whole makes sense from start to end. It feels very much like you're working towards a goal and that each link in the chain builds towards that goal.

    The Hess TF is very much a "Must see" event in CoH.

    I agree the other TF's gott to be made a little short and more to the point. Its not that fun when you have a headace and blurry vision when you finish your TF's

    Has this been put in place already? I've been doing solo missions a lot the last few days, and all the named Archons I've seen have been Lts, not Bosses.

    On a simmilar note I an archvillian in one of my missions on
    the "heroic" level whats an archvillin doing in a liutenat capped diffculty setting.
    A Boss or even a EliteBoss I understand but an ArchVillian on the lowest settiing.
    Shouldnt they be reserved for only trials, taskforces and the higher difficulty setting.

  6. They said that once you are confused, held, sleeped, disorintated or otherwise succesfully controlled you become immune to that effect for a time.
    But does the timer start when you recovcer from that effect or when the effect is landed?
  7. I had the same thing with a council mission, but it was a council liuteneant on same crey miussions the named bad guy
    is a minion.
  8. a 5th costume slot for supergroup that actually supports your type of supergroup.
    With free and locked options on the parts, colors and patterns
    in other words as the founder I would have the option to
    say that any shoulder pads were allowed and that the supergroup members could go to icons and change only that part
    this would include locking of patterns and supergroup colors
    there are some "powerranger" type supergroups so locking
    team colors for the team uniform would also have to be optional to support thier group uniforms
    this way every super group type is supported fairly and equally and allow more flavor
  9. 3.5 stars so far for being on the right track and for the part you can mre easly do
    .5 stars more if you get the flashback to work
    .5 stars more if I dont have to use another player to flashback and can enjoy my stories in leasure then being pressed into service on anothers mission
    .5 stars more if i can enjoy the new contacts from the hollows that got stuffed into my contact pool and told me that
    they desperately needed my help and that i was too powerful to help becuse the villians would not stand a chance against me

    I will toss in 5 more stars if you get the flashback to work on contact basis and also aplly it to the Taskforces so if we are exemplard we dont suffer if our friend disconncets

    Yes the real reason i solo is that I wont get a chance too take my time and enjoy the stories they got

    Boss Changes

    The biggest reason why I solo is that I want to enjoy all of
    the ingame stories. If I could not outlevel my contacts
    and get all the stories they carry and the new stories
    they get no matter how badly I outlevel them. Im sure there are plenty of other players who dont want to loose thier ingame content by grouping and outleveling thier contatcts too

    I would spend more time playing Coh instead of FFIX.

    Both games encourage grouping.

    But one game dosent ever deny any of its content ever.

    Another one that says it has rewards for grouping you loose out
    on the stories it has. It gives the distnct flavor of reading
    part of a comicbook while having its pages ripped out before
    you get a chance to finish it and savor its good qualities
    unfourtontely that game is COH. A game of comicbook heroes.

    The only time I really group is for taskforce missions,
    Or to help my friends out. I would group more but there is really a penalty of loss of game content.

    And as for the Other part I agree Named Bosses should be better then the average hero
    and the generics should be about 90% to 110% the avarege heroes power.
  11. 1) 2 points of endurance with each level added to our charcters endurance score so most oif us dont have to take fitness to have enough eneregy to fight

    2) The ability to use the hero desighner to customise our pets
    and make thier apperance fit our heroes concepts

    3) The abilty to do any mission, with all the contacts you have, not yet completed. Its really sad when you arrive to help a contact who says, he needs all the help he can get, but you are too powerful and that he would perfer that his long lost son rot in hell then be rescued by a hero who could easily save him. Unfortunately this is a reall extrapolation from the events of the Hollows. Yes thats the kind of carp I really dont like. It makes the game feel cheesey and smell like rotten fish. Or as some other people suggested artifically set villians level limits even if they dont normally go that high, so that missions never get old.

    4) the ability to add extra auaras at levels 40 and 50.

    5) color custumizaton and sound custimiztion to our powers so if theres an annoying sound effect we could turn the thing off.

    Badge Progress

    The coven idea is good put them in the hollows and Dark Astoria.
    And use all the beasties as thie minions. The event
    can occur again as well just becuse you can find the coven in
    other area, dosent mean your heroes cant go trick or treating
    They could also expand it next year by creating a haunted
    house mission given out by the city repersenative.
  13. I think thing was ridiculously easy.
    And we were cracking jokes on how easy it was
    And half of us had pets.
    And something like this went through our minds.

    We were the siege.
    A sea of heroes.
    Well a large group of heroes and thier minions.
    The villians had to contius keep us happy.
    They rummaged thier stores for inspirations
    Or Tossed a few of thier friends to see if they
    could make us level and make some of us disappear.
    But we would not leave untill we had gotten
    all of thier candy coated inspirations.
    And were awarded all of the solid milk choclate badges.
    Anyways how many villians can you stuff in a 10 x 10 foot room.
  14. I got all six badges. The Trick or treat group I was in made
    the whole thing look like a joke. 8 Heroes 4 dark savants 3
    earth elemetals and an average of 3 phantoms and 10 imps.
    Everyon decked out with 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 "Rows" of buffs.
    Topped off with a continous barrage of slippery stuff powers
    it was like fighting a bunch of flopping fishes. Might have been
    harder if they sent groups paired off to the party size.
    But nothing I would charge into myself even with a pair of friends.
  15. My advice for cryptic fight dirty.
    Truly Intergrate the options.
    If you have CoH you have 8 character slots
    you can make a hero in each of your slots
    If you have CoV You have 8 character slots
    you can make a villian in each of you slots
    If you got both then you have 8 character slots
    they can either be a villian or hero
    When you select create a character when you have both
    it will ask if you want to create a hero or a villian
    no matter if you launched from a CoH or CoV
    If you have CoH when selecting your costume you
    get ther hero side only
    If you have Cov then you get the villian side only
    If you have both you can mix and match.
    Later on when cryptic starts feeling guilty they can have a character archive update and give more slots.
    Do everything else you can to have both a little reduntant for
    paying two subscrptions.
    You can always make updates later
  16. The ability to go down to icons and change the apperance of my pets. I am a magical controler and my phantom army looks sort of more of a psi-tech thingy from a gritty B-grade sci-fi movie.
    When we train and select a pet power we should be able to design it as we see fit. Including selecting the avatar. If we choose a super hero avatar we get all the options including cape and effects provided your qualified to have them.

    Some people might want to have exact duplictes of thier character or a similar apperance. Wether thier trying to duplictor heroes, the fast guy who is so fast hes evrywhere or somone who pulls alternate versions of himself from other dimensions.

    Some or Most of the pet avatars might only have a color filter as they were not desighned with the hero creater. But i at least want to be able to use the hero desighner to desighn my pets.

    When we go to Icons. We should have the option of creating as many diffrent versions for each pet power as we have costumes for ourselves. When we are on our pet window we should have the option of selecting a specific appearance or the ability to select a random appearance. If the poweer summons more then one pet at a time we should have the option of selecting of keeping the appearance uniform or have each one selcected at random. In the case of Phantasm it supposed to summon a duplicate of itself whatever its apperance is.

    I do remember from the old pre beta boards that pet customation was supposed to be among one of the first steps
    of power customation. If We dont see it in update #3 it should definatley belong in update #4.
  17. The problem is not that they have the powers its that trolls and outcasts need to level up to use the extra powers. At higher levels the extra powers are fair, But not at level 5.
    I posted this earlier on a diffrent thread.

    You need to be about level 15 to be fairly matched in powers versus the liutenats and bosses of outcasts. Roll the level 14's and less Ouctcasts back to the way they were before. And call the 15's and higher Elementals and let them keep them the same. Like they way the lost types are diffrentiated. And for the trolls 12's and less should be rolled back 13's and higher could have the Stone type. Basically the less experinced shouldnt have as many powers.
