I was perusing the tanker boards and ran across a post to soft cap willpower. I decided to try to do the same thing on a scrapper. I think I fail at mids. Has anyone been able to this, or is it an exercise in futility?

And as one of those that is in the military, yes, I do things on my own. I am a medic assigned to a platoon. The only medic. I have to think for myself, weigh the values of my actions, the consequences of said actions against what will happen to my platoon. I'm glad I never listened to my platoon sergeant when I was in Iraq this last time. He didnt know me, and didn't know what I was capable of. When the mortar fire started, and everyone was told to run one way, I ran the other (kinda like how I do on my scrappers and brutes) and was able to save someones life.

This isn't to say I'm a hero, hell, I tried to turn down the award they gave me. This is to say that just because someone is in a leadership position, doesn't necessarily mean they know what is best for the group. In this game, just means they are the ones who started the recruiting drive. And we all know how smart recruiters are.

Yes, this IS a game, and games are meant to have fun in, but reclessly endangering your "TEAM" makes the rest of the team usualy annoied. Which means that they arent having fun.

Sure, some of you can solo ITF, if thats your bag of tea, then you have no need for a team. Go get a bunch of fillers for your ITF or what ever and boot them when yoru ready, dont endanger everyone else and make it UNFUN for the rest of the people.

Yes, because every organized unit operates by walking in huddles groups within arms reach of one another. Last I checked, team work did not require holding hands. I fail to see why people insist the only viable teaming option is for 8 people to aim at the same target. In a game where so called support characters can clear 8-man spawned missions single handedly; folks still insist running missions like a mobile campfire. This isn't Voltron or Captain Planet. You're not going to turn into some giant super powered robot by holding each other's tails and ears.

Yes, you can cap out without Elude. I have done so on both my brute and scrapper. It can be expensive, depending on the market.

Had the desire to roll a Dm/Inv tonight. He will be mainly for pve, but since one of the badges for an accolade requires spending a few hours in a pvp zone, I figure I may as well enjoy some pvp as well. Any suggestions as to what powers to skip, what bonusi to shoot for? Should I reroll as a WP?

My main Villain was written with this in mind. He is a teen that was given powers when a group of heroes raided Aeons lab. He was just walking by. He recieved powers, but was in danger of dying, as his blood had been poisoned. Aeon found him, and told him he could cure him, but first, he had to help him get back what the heroes had taken from him.

Why I hate the J-Force

I have been playing this game since release. I have never heard of this group. The only reference I have ever heard of J anything other than J-Lo, was once long ago. I believe the man/woman/hermaphrodite referred to themselves as JRanger, and would post in threads with only the word "no" as a response. It got to the point that peopl would begin answering questions with "/JRanger" instead of the word no.
And that Is why I hate the J-Force.

This is what I have for my build. Can I solo a pylon? No. Can I solo an AV? Oh yeah. No aidself though. I havent jumped on him in awhile (altitis) but I plan on finishing off every AV I can.

I've played this game for 4-5 years. I've taken a break here and there for deployments and such, but I love it. Getting ready to make a stalker, but my question is, how do you make a succesful stalker for pvp and pve content? I have heard that for pvp you need leadership and stealth, and a second travel power? Whats the trade off pve side? Do I just make a second build now that thats an option?
