Hi. I have been playing CoX since pre I-1. You know, when they were still trying to figure out how to do capes. I started on a scrapper, and then another scrapper, then another, then a tank, then another scrapper, then a brute, then another scrapper. I have tried all of the other AT's but other than a blaster I was duo'ing with a buddy of mine until he died, I havent been able to get interested in any other AT. I tried a PB once cause someone said they were more "scrappery" but after 28 levels, I still wasn't to impressed with him. I rolled a WS yesterday, just to try. Man, I am loving this toon so far. I have the mire (can't remember what it's called) the stealth and I find myself anticipating each new power. I habent felt like this since I first started this game.
This one is going to be a tri-form. My next will probably be human/nova, and then a human/Dwarf.
Sorry for rambling, just felt like sharing.

Pistols are not generally effective passed 3 to 5 meters. They were designed as last-chance military weapons to be used when your enemy charges at you. They are "knock-down" weapons intended to keep opponents from over running your position.

They are melee weapons. And CoH melee range is 10 feet/3 meters. Look it up

This is the pistol used by all branches excluding the special forces units. It is not a knockdown pistol designed for military as a last resort. It was designed as a secondary weapon in case of failure of your primary weapon. However the average shooter will be lucky to hit a man size target past 25 meters. How do I know this you might ask? I am a Combat Weapons Master Instructor for the United States Marine Corps. As far as them being melee weapons in game I don't know and don't care but they are not melee weapons in the military. That is what your bayonet or k-bar knifes are designed for. 8)

And yes, thats enough to play tag with AV's. I did it on my /sr before I got to 45%, and I didn't have the extra hp or the heal from siphon life.

They're planning on fixing the bug which allows stacking rage to eliminate the def penalty. That's it.

Rage has a -def penalty when it shuts off. If it stacks though, there is no penalty.

I'd get rid of soul mastery myself, but thats just me. I'd also slot at least one end reduction in some of those attacks.

Trying on Freedom. I tried Uriel, Malachi, Raziel (and all manner of variants) and a couple of others.

I have a wonderful concept for a toon (imo) and a snazzy costume. When I got to the naming portion, the name I wanted was taken. So I come here, humbled by my lack of creativity. Here is the concept, and story.

Concept:
An angel, a seraphim warrior, that turned his back on heaven, and followed the Morningstar in his rebellion.
"Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world – he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him."

When thrown from heaven though, he did not reach the depths of hell, but landed on the outskirts of Eden. He has watched humanity through the millenia. Observing there greatness, there flaws and tragedies. He now sees what it was that God wanted the Angels to bow down to, his most perfect creations. And in this, the humans greatest time of need, he has spoken to the great Archangel, Michael, and beseeched a return of his heavenly might to aid the human. Instead, he has been given the task of defeating the enemies of the humans, and returned a portion of his heavenly powers.

I can not seem to come up with a name though.

Agreed. I spend most of my time playing redside, but I know if theres ever a need to discuss numbers, you come to the scrapper board. Werner in particular added something nice to the discussion.

I have a ss/reg av in one of my arcs. Kills my /sr toons, which makes it more fun.
