  1. If you need missions (eg Striga) Penumbral Song has the last couple of missions of the Winslow and the Cosmotron (20-25) kheldian arc available. Seems apt.
  2. I'm a 3hover/port/recall. Tell me where to go, and I can get there.
  3. I am the ripe ooooold age of 29.

I do not leave bibles in hotel rooms. Dirty books, on the other hand...
  4. Namer Arthur Savage
    Alias: Jester Savage
    Age: 29
Date of Birth: 1st April, 1977
    Job: Nanotechnological Researcher,
    Gender: M
Ethnicity: English, accent gets more undefinable when he's in his masked guise.
    Height: 6'1
    Weight: ?
    Eye Colour: Green
    Hair Colour: Copper
Apperance: Thin. Muscled, but in a wirey sense, there isn't much bulk to his strenth. Long hair (yay, can do this).
Known Powers: regenerative capacity, enhanced speed, strength and leaping ability, retractable claws.
Known Information: Arthur is respected in his field, even if very few people outside of it have heard of him. Jester Savage is also a quiet hero, although known for a sardonic wit, his fondness for word-play, word games and an almost philosophical approach to the concepts of language. Those who have seen him fight report that his claws do not appear to be metal in the usual sense of the word.
Costumes: In civilian guise, ordinary clothes. His hero suit is leather overlaying a nanotechnologically spun smart-fibre layer, which appears to have limited capacity to self-heal tears, and also some limited colour-changing abilities.
Other: Some remark that Jester Savage is possibly insane, citing his odd humour and ways of speaking. Others point out that a licensed hero must have met at least baseline standards for mental competence.
  5. Throwing Hat into the ring.

Sara Aegis, 50 Inv/En/En. I was on the taunt team the last time we tried this (remember the recall friend fun after we fell out of group fly?) so I know what to expect

4 slot taunt, 6 slot dull pain, teleport and recall friend (for positioning and moving the tanks around). Vanguard (as much as it helps) PJ, Task Force Commander, Phalanx Reserve, Atlas.
  6. And ironically, I have at least one I haven't bothered to type up yet. Maybe two.
  7. Hmm. Sounds interesting. I'd be willing to give it a go. In fact, if you give it about 20 years between present and what we may as well call The Event, I can even come up with the perfect character.

Hell, I'm having fiction ideas already.
  8. Name: Sara Aegis
    Alias: N/A
    Age: mid 20's.
Date of Birth: 7th July 1979
Job: Aside from her GoD duties, has been known to help out with the city Disaster Rescue Department.
    Gender: Female
Ethnicity: Indeterminate, accent is reasonably midatlantic.
    Height: 5'11

    Weight: [deleted for security reasons]
    Eye Colour: blue.
Hair Colour: White, described occasionally as almost luminous.
Appearance: St4cked. You know what she looks like. Pointy ears.
Known Powers: Extreme Invulnerability, Energy manipulation, focussing primarily on hand to hand combat and sensory abilities, personal and other teleportation, slow flight (hover levels)
Known Information: Like some heroes (and most of the GoD) Sara uses no mask, no secret identity. As she herself said in her only official press interview "I am what you see. Just a woman using her abilities to make the world better." When not actively working, she is known to be pleasant and approachable, although she very definitely draws a line around her private life and has asked people not to cross it. This has mostly been respected. Although she tends to glow a fair amount when her powers are under load, she has never really been all that flamboyant, and, in common with the rest of the GoD, tends to avoid the public eye where possible.

Costumes: When working, most often seen wearing white trousers, boots and a long top, though reports that she has been seen glowing gold, wearing some kind of robeesque outfit have never been substantiated.
  9. Hey, last time we only really planted in a major fashion trying to GET to Hami, due to an astonishing amount of falling out of group fly. Thank heavens for Recall friend, says I.
  10. Sara Revision 2.0? A simpler story, no insanity.

Although I kind of like the idea of Lazarus Fortune, from the start.
  11. I guess the major point of contact for me in this thread is Sara. Now, I've had debates about her power level before, and it turns out she isn't as bad as I thought. She does have an off-the-chart power level, but 98% of that is inextricably tied into her invulnerability, and her human outlook isn't really capable of manipulating that power in any godlike fashion, simply because she does not have the mind or will of a god. Yes, there's very little in the way of physical, energy or other effects that can damage her, but there are still a number of ways to get around that. Her personality flaws are well documented, and hopefully, they do come out. In terms of outlook, Sara has wound up being a human who just can't be physically damaged.

I think how it works out depends how you apply it. When you have a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. As soon as you start going "Oh, I can just rearrange the world to do this.." where do you stop? That's why handwaving gods tend to not work, once you logically say they can do anything, there's no logical reason for them not to do everything.
  12. Heh.

I am blonde. With all that that implies.

    Just don't ask, okay?
  13. Well, CoX is an environment you can roleplay in spite of, to be fair.
  14. Oh go on.

Taunt team on J's raid (Hiya Kinslayer) and volunteering for the same duty again.

    Sara Aegis, 50 Inv/En/EM tank
  15. 14/06/06 - 10:45pm

Sara moved around her apartment with purpose, grabbing things from the freezer, the fridge and cupboards, and placing them in a coolbag. Her headlong motion was watched with by the little white cat, who had perched herself on top of a cupboard, and now favoured her two-legger with the studied look of superior, disinterested interest that is the birthright of cats everywhere.

An observer would have found Sara's monologue interesting, if only at the way cat owners talked to their pets. "Mrs Hughes across the hall will feed you, I get the impression I'm not going to be back here for a few days." Amaterasu yawned in cat-fashion, and managed to look even more disdainful, if anything. "Don't be like that, you know I can't take you with me. Sebastian doesn't want animals in the lab, and I couldn't risk taking you into danger with me, in any case."

Tera stood up, stretched, and leapt off the cupboard, landing on Sara's shoulder lightly, not even stopping the headlong rush as Sara neatly put her life away for a time.

::You will come back. You are strong, you will survive.:: In one thought-image, Tera managed to convey a sense of unshakeable faith, love, and permanance that would have quite surprised someone who thought they knew cats. ::Your family needs you.:: Images of Mina, of Liz, of Sebastian, of Jared (wherever he was) and now of their new friends, flitted across her awareness for a second. The last thought-image was very un-catlike. ::Go, save the world. Bring me tuna.::

Sara smiled briefly, deposited Tera on the sofa, then reached down and stroked her. A slight spark of her magic linked the two briefly, a carefully measured infusion that seemed not to worry the cat at all. She straightened, and picked up the bags she had packed. Closing her eyes, she took one deep breath, then another. Her family was going to war again, and in the way of that surreal, yet close-knit unit, they were all already laying everything on the line to do what destiny asked of them. Losing them would be more than she could bear, so she would make sure that did not happen. She would take up her shield once again, and stand between her loved ones, and the universe. It was time to go to work.

She activated her comm. "Circe, please open recieving area 2. I'm coming in." Light glared as Sara ported out, and Tera turned her attention to other things, like how best to shred those shiney curtains.

  17. It appears there's one last dominator slot left. Consider it baggsied by myself.
