I'd love to see what Damage Spines/Fire + Fiery Embrace + Fury would =
-
So MA, where would you put it? Would you try to grab an autofire to put it into or just focus Chi?
-
Ok how can I improve this build. . . please don't make me make another thread to get some more answers.
-
Where would you put that in MA then? Would you take Tactics or Focus fighting to put it into?
-
[ QUOTE ]
I only have one character that has this slotted, and it is my MA/SR scrapper in his Focus Chi power, which has the full 6 piece Gaussians set, for the Defensive Set bonuses.
Since Focus Chi is itself a BU power, any benefit I receive from the proc would be right at the first one or 2 attacks after the proc fires. I never really notice it being a wow experience any more than an unexpected critical would.
[/ QUOTE ]
Although I like this Idea, wouldn't be better to have it auto fire, so you get more chances for it to go off? Every 10sec compared to around 15-24sec for Focus Chi recharge? -
That's the question. . .someone said this to me in one of my builds. Is this how it works?
"...And, of course, I don't think that the Gaussian's proc works the way you think it does... The proc has an uptime of 5 seconds out of every 3 minutes and 20 seconds on average. Not exactly what I would refer to as continuous." -
Well if that is true then, I can change my build to incorparae Aid Self. . .do you or someone have a post or something that states how +build up acts?
-
Spines/Dark Brute too...oh how happy we will be and a' hunting we will go, Hi-Ho a' Radio a farming we will GO!
Don't forget last seasons hit, "a' hunting we will go, Hi-Ho a' Mitachandrio a farming we will GO!
Also in Architecht Stores now, "a' hunting we will go, Hi-Ho a' 52+ Boss YO! a farming we will GO! -
Cool, thanks. . . I didn't say I'd be soloing though, I'm no idiot, I'd have a tank with me for sure, or like 3 trollers.
-
Ok here is my revamped version. . .critiques? Is the DPS sufficent to solo AV's? Also, should I take Grant cover instead of Conserve energy? I took focused ACC so I could slot for the continuious +dmg proc from Gaussian. I could go Tactics however. . . for more team freindly build.

I understand those basic concepts, what I want to know is how much more damge and how much more survivable. If its 6 one way half a dozen the other, then I don't care, but if it's a big diffrence either way I do care. If the survivability is manageable through IO's but the difference in damage HIGH then I like fire. IF, the diffrence in Survivablity is HIGH, and the damage is meh in diffrence, then I like Dark. So far, ....lol, I can't get this answer.
-
Can't get it to fix, once I put the data chunk in, so I'm tyring something diffrent.
-
Anyone want to critique my Inv/SS build?
-
Anyone who has played both, can you tell me what the diffrence in dmg dealt on a farm is? Are we talking minor diffrence in damage, major diffrence in damage, or it's about middle of the ground?
-
That's weird, never had that happend before.
-
I looked around in some threads but, my Search Fu is very weak. So, if I could get some help, thanks. Here is what I wanted to build, High DPS around 215 or higher and still survivable, for Soloing AV's. I found this Rough sketch of a build; however, I know it can be improved upon. Build as if money is non issue. Thanks all.
-
I'd like to see Spines ported over. Spines/Fire Brute...hmm...think of all the AOE and DMG capabilities...Delicious.
-
OK, so survivability wise Dark has it, but, what is the diffrence in Damage output, is it great, negligible, middle of the road?
-
[ QUOTE ]
Farming: Fire for easy, Dark for hard.
Survivability: Dark
Damage output: Fire
[/ QUOTE ]
What do you mean fire for easy, dark for hard? As in Farms that are easy/hard?
Also, wanted to interject, where do you think Spines/EA will sit between these two Aura Dmg builds with it's own aura dmg? -
Spines/Dark or Spines/Fire. . .which is better at farming? Which is better at Survivability? Which is better at overall Damage output? Discuss away.

[ QUOTE ]
I've added everything up to the Elec/Elec sets for Scrappers & Tankers. They're next on my list. I can't add Earth Assault, because that's a new set, and I can't add Broadsword to Stalkers (which I still think was a stupid choice...) because we don't know what will be dropped to make room for Stalker signature "attacks".
When I added Claws to Brutes, I copied Taunt from another Brute powerset (shouldn't matter which one), since Scrappers get Confront.
Finally, when you add a new set, it will show up at the bottom of the list. If you want it to show up in the proper alphabetical place, in the second window, where it shows the sets, there are two buttons at the bottom labeled Up and Down. Click the powerset you want to move, then click Up until it's where it should be.
For exmaple, when Radiation Blast was added by following the steps in your guide, it was listed after Sonic Attack. I selected Radiation Blast, clicked the Up button, and it was moved above Sonic Attack. Now, in Mids', when I make a new Blaster, Radiation Blast will come before Sonic Attack and after Psychic Blast.
I tend to move the Set after I've added all 9 powers to it, but before I click on Save & Close. After I've moved it to the proper place, then I'll Save & Close, and restart Mids'.
[/ QUOTE ]
Is there a way to DL all of your work, ala how Mids use to be updated. Can we update from your build? Basically, can I cheat and copy your fixes. . . lol. -
[ QUOTE ]
I am hoping for some serious Gun Fu ala Equilibrium.
