Wow, that is a totally different way then I thought this would go, and I love it. Hericane that is awesome. Almost 360 on what I thought Memories was but it's still super cool. I imagined Memories as a sort of quasi guardian of thoughts from another realm but this is a much better bio for him. Too much better......*sabotages Hericane's computer* That'll teach you to make something awesome for me.

In all seriousness this is great, I really like it.

Okay, my turn.

I was paired up with Hericane and she asked me to use her toon Lady Hericane. Here's what she looked like before I began my magic.

Lady Hericane (I apologize I couldn't figure out how to implant the images into the post without stealing them from Hericane).

As for her bio, here's a condensed version: Lady Hericane comes from an alternate dimension, Where her home planet of Aldana was not destroyed by the Rikti. After the Rikti attack failed the first time, she volunteered for a military research program which ended up giving her the powers to gather energy from her surroundings and project it at her foes. She continued to use these powers in service to the Aldanian military until she was displaced on earth in our dimension in a enemy attack. Once here she decided to help Earth against the current Rikti attacks.

Now, ladies and gentlemen, I bring you what I tried to do to her looks.



I saw that she had a sort of futuristic or extraterrestrial battle armor with two to three main colors. I tried to copy that while keeping her signature look in place. I realized too late I forgot about the tiara but I think even without it it looks good. It was best I thought to stay close to a distinct tight, sleek battle armor.

I am a dude, though I am part dudette seeing as I'm a gaymer.

And like Foo said, I am one of those tiny sugary candies from Wonka.

My advice, like posted before, get involved and be freindly. Contests can often land you with something interesting, even if it's not what you thought it would be. Also, be on the lookout for threads such as Foo's "spread the love" thread. and if you're not the most creative (like me) try to think outside the box as to how you can contribute. I am not talented in literal art but I design costumes in game for people who agree to do art for me or provide them with a teaming partner or in general help them in game how I can. If you make freinds in this forum you'll be surprised at what comes your way. Thanks to EnnVee who tipped me off to these great threads I like to think I'm making my presence at least slightly known and already one or two people have offered to help me out. Just get involved, think of how you can contribute, and be patient.

From what I know about costumes I can give you this advice for going slightly classic, keep it simple.

Tight is your freind when it comes to this. Spandex is good, or one of the more simple designs such as the Ulterior for a sleek armor design or Samurai tights for a more light armor look. Stay away from wild designs such as Circuitry, Googie (I think that's it's name) or Perplex. Stick to simple curves and designs such as the pattern ones, Sharp or Fat stripe 1. this is what I can give you for advice on designing your look.

As for color, this probably goes without saying, but have one bright color and one darker one to contrast it for your mains, and have one accent color to use hwere needed such as emblems, belts and shoulders.

Hope this can at least give you some direction.
