you are entitled to any opinion you may have.

I will point out, however, that sometimes people believe they are making observations of others, when in fact they are looking inwardly.

  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCI6H46Dypw

That guy's in my unit, I got this media advisory (not the article) in my e-mail saying not to give conjectures or anything to the media and was like "wtf, this guy beat his wife or something?" (i just met the guy at Marine Corps birthday ball, that drill ended the day before the whole thing.)

So I ask about it in january on a field drill, now I know... damn, dont I feel like an ignorant pile of ****!

oh and FYI I wont comment on the case directly, any comments I will make unrelated to the case I made on the comments there, the only related thing I will say is that he has my, and 4th ANGLICO's full support until the end (which I think this is already over) and if found innocent or charges are dropped/is not charged, he will have our full support throughout the entire follow through.
  6. I'll sign Miracle Beam for cap-respec 2

31 now, I think I will make 34 by saturday tho.
  7. OP:

Most [acc checking] Defense debuffs come in the form of lethal damage via bullets and blades, so Katana/BS is ideal. try to get lethal up near the cap so that a DA or parry will put you a bit over, that's going to be your best attempt at DDR.

Your best res set to pair would be either invul (more of a def set really, as more mitigation comes from that than 75% res to a few types.) or elec (most of your -res is coming from sonic, which is energy, there is no RDR, you need to resist the damage type the debuff is coming from.) your only form of toxic res (another -res type) is the nuke tho, so be careful about when to use it.

I prefer elec, its got a better heal, max HP set bonuses dont work too well on invul, regen is still fine on elec, energize wont bring you an inch from cap, and regen dosent work based on %ages like some nay sayers would have you believe.

so yeah, get smashing up as much as possible, which will unavoidably bring up lethal, capped en resist is inclusive in elec. being over cap on lethal will help delay CDFs. besides unnuked toxic (nothing) and neg (40ish) you've got about 50% res all

I've personally found Combat Jumping + Hurdle to be more maneuverable than Hover + swift, but maybe I need more experience. Mind you, my first 50 was a hoverblaster, and I have over 1500 hours on him. I suppose that's enough hovering to say that I prefer Combat Jumping.
I have the same problem with doors. I cant double click tho, i have to click until the door opens and my character runs through.
  9. you can do fire/dark...

    just say you're an alien.

wouldnt gadgets fall unavoidably into the tech category?

yeah, see, cant do it anyway, im in Dark Kingdom of the destined ones, the compy is in Dark Kingdom II...
    <_<

  12. using the sample on 10-14 rolls, I determined that my chances of getting 1 thing useful (BotZ KB, Shield breaker proc, call to arms aura, theft of essence proc) off of 25 random rolls was pretty good.

    500 merits down the drain.

  14. Yeah, the weather man says it gonna get awful cold tonight, like in the 50s........

SUCKERS!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! FLORIDA FOR THE WIN, BEAAAAAAAAATCH!!!!

Cept you, turg, i'll mail blankets for the kitty.
  15. I wouldnt recommend energy. I use it but only ST, AoE + KB = enemies positioned to go around your caltrops, enemies too dispersed to nail effectively with mortars, enemies out of the poison cloud, etc.

I would highly recommend fire. Utilizing the "heal" requires you to be stationary, so your traps are the only thing stopping exposure to fierce melee opponents, so killing them faster is better.

no, he just sees a fool.

Taunt isnt necessary, but there's nothing wrong if you want to take it. People who play to the beat of a traditional MMORPG arent "doin it wrong!" they just enjoy that. So far the only thing youve postid is you getting on a high horse, talking about how everyone who dosent play like you is wrong, and when they turn down your "super knowledgeable suggestions" you get all the way up your horse's neck and sit on his head.

have you figured out that it's just a game? go outside.

I say again that the ONLY thing that ANY character "is all about" is the FUN, and you are alowed to do that however you want.

that being said, im elec/wp/mu, so even with WP not having the best aura, I still get plenty of aggro on plenty of mobs without taunt, and anything I dont have aggro on is immobilized/stunned from the fences/lightning clap combo.
  19. ooh, a nice, strong and pretty graphic and ever'tang'

I will be on, ready to kill! *makes "grr" face*
  20. I like AR/MM. the extra cone dosent come with boost range, but the greater ability to down everything short of an EB in the first attack wave while keeping huge regen means you dont really need to have unavengable attacks.

thats just me tho, I definately see tons of value in BR, PB, and extra stuns.

I put you down as an alt - we may have fallout or may run two teams depending on the number of sign-ups.

More importantly, unless Im using that excuse for the same event, it would me that i'm losing out, me, the important one in this whole equation!!!

so the answer is no, you need to get busy on your own time!

This SF also features some of the rare hero side maps: Tsoo Tattoo Parlor, Pwnz Mission map, etc

The contact is Silver Mantis, but through the mission computer in the team leader's base.
    I see, I see...

How long is "one of the longer (if not the longest)"?
  24. shockwave dosent really work that hard against RttC. Ranged mobs would have ran anyway most of the time, melee mobs wont be attacking much until they get up and come back, giving you the regen back.

Regen is truely hated by PvPers (in a good way, for the regen scrapper) so if thats your thing then I would go Regen, but its pretty much a toss up for PvE.
  25. ill second fire/traps as a good choice. double acid mortar with an AH proc gives some very viable (60%) -res, with 40% -def to boot. (I have it slotted AH proc, apoc proc, lady grey proc, shield break proc and 2 50 common recharge IOs, so they even help with damage)

caltrops are a wonder either group or solo. solo they scare everything almost without exception, so lay some at a corner and you can run around that corner to break LoS and rest or do whatever. in a group you can put them between the group you are fighting and the next one so runners/anchors dont go makin' things bad for ya.

PGT with web nade for some serious -rech and speed, also the immob with the nades using 2 common 50 IOs lasts ~35 seconds, so double stacking for bosses is very effective (although I usually go for more slow), the -regen is great for group GM fighting and even makes solo possible. with lockdown this thing becomes a beast.

BotZ in travel power (i went cj/sj with two so i wouldnt need a karma) with health+aegis in tough is great protection from kb/hold/immob/stun/sleep (the effects that will have melee enemies catching you) FFG is also a huge defense boon for a minimal stamina cost (unslotted I have the stam back before the thing even finishes coming down) to the entire group

im not as big a fan of the seeker drones, but the -40% damage between the 2 of em is very popular among others.

the trip mines and time bombs are some setting up but well worth it if thats your thing.

Fire is sick damage and if you are having the mortars tank solo thats a real useful thing because the mortars are on timers.

also catching a mob that gets halfway through the trops before turning around with a RoF sounds gravy, almost like a fire/dark but with a damageing tar patch and acid mortars.
