Depending on *what* the petition was about, the standard reply can either be *very* annoying or *very helpfull*

For me, they are generally *very* annoying, but that is because I have always done (almost) everything on the list that they send out. This though is part of their "Standard procedure". But there have been cases of when even the "automated" reply has reminded me to do something that i had just forgotten.

Its only when you have replied to that initial email (which as far as i can tell is *always* automatically generated) that you start getting proper replies from people.

Having spent a lot of time playing Tabula Rasa, i got to know the support side of the game pretty damn well (/bug and also /petition on regular basis for about 1 month) especially when tech issues arose up.

Also (especially with a /petition concerning another player's action) forcing the user to "reply" to an issue (with the same information *or* correction/update of an exisiting issue) is actually handy, as it prevents the time being taken up by a player with spurious claims against other players.

It is actually quite impressive how many players *dont* actually recheck their email (or they actually have emails from NCsoft forwarded to /dev/null) and then complain when they dont recieve an email.

Seems the GM only read the subject line then fired off an email. I don't mind giving as much information as I can but if I'd known the petition text wouldn't be read I wouldn't have bothered to type it all out.

I know its annoying when that happens, but if i have already put the pertinant information in a previous section, i just C+P into the "update status" section.

Takes 2 seconds, but still handy (and also good for you, just incase later on you forget some information, its already there for you to use and abuse)

Strangely enough sappers dont give my controller *any* issues at all.....

I turn off the ingame censor right away, so i never see the starts on exisiting characters.

On the forums though, its doesnt bother me in the slightest. Granted, having the *option* to turn off forum censorship would indeed be intersting, but on the flip side, at least you *know* when someone is swearing left right and center even with it turned on.

Considering the number of posts that have been made on this board though, there is a *very* small percentage of posts with [censored] in it. The other times, it could well indeed be the POSTER doing typing the word out (because they know it would be censored anyway).

I had no issues downloading it during the day on BT... although granted with Tiscali they do do strange things (granted i *dont* like tiscali because when i had a download speed cap of 5kps (impressive seeing as i was on a broadband connection), they said i wasnt being throttled...)

Well this is a 1sr for me... posting in the tech help area with a tech issue.

Recently ih ave been experiancing random crashes/locks ups when teaming with other players.

What happens is that CoX starts to slow down and get unresponsive, and then just totally locks up the PC. At the same time i start getting a high pitched sound through my speakers.

I end up having to reboot my PC, and then it *might* resolve itself. Sometimes I can be teamed up for several hours, or i can just last 10 minutes (or even 10 seconds) whilst teamed.

Ideas? Thoughts? Solutions?

Ate, the way in which i read it was that the dev's just removed the requirement for the travel power alone... and that the Tier 4 power still had the requirement of 2 previous and level 20

Quick edit... looked up on ParagonWiki.. vet rewards were only introduced in Issue 8, so just over 2 years ago

Well.... on my level 50 hero, i would have to burn through 54 freebie costume changes, the veteran costume changes and THEN get the discount.... granted i am only at 33 months right now (IIRC) but even so, that does kinda make you wonder how many there have been... i really should NOT change my outfit on my hero then just to see how many we *do* get in the end

Are you on a trial account? If so i dont know what the correct answer is.

If you are on a full retail account though, you can just change your subscription type to credit/debit card and go via that way. You will not be charged a subscription fee until your gametime runs out (which is always a bonus)

Note: I do believe that you *CANNOT* do this with Maestro cards however (buy the extra character slots, server transfers)
