  1. Adamastor eventually spawned about 10:45 but can't do enough damage to get past his regen

    Had hit her once before spotting this thread so when she respawned after finding it I tried the other options.
    Aid other - wouldn't trigger on her
    Mass Confuse - nice purple dot but no badge - remember I had already killed her once.
    Buff/Debuff - can't comment as those I have do damage

    In the end I had to hit her a second time - fortunately her respawn time is short and I had marked her spawn point.
  4. How about one in Pocket D with both the heroes and villains in it so we go one better than them - will need to be quick though as I think it finishes tomorrow.

    [/ QUOTE ]lots of misses probably means they're using purples although scrappers have good defence to start with - an occasional one shouldn't be a major problem though unless its on a heal and you are in the red.

    I had some situations like that back in Sirenes (besides the snow balls... DAMN, I still can't find em!). The only downside was that, while they couldn't hit me, I couldn't do enough damage to kill 'em. :/

    yep was only barely beating her regen - if my toggles hadn't dropped it would probably have taken about 2 hours to drop her. Tanks otoh you only need to get past their DR which is possible with snipe mind you I've not met all that many who have been willing to stick around long enough so that will probably be different for different power sets on them than those I have managed to fight. ( My villains are on Pinnacle where the heroes don't seem to want to leave their base and villains tend to rule the PVP zones - does this sound familar in reverse to a lot of comments here)

    I can assure you they're not - I can solo heroes in PvE at my level, maybe +1 given room to move and some luck but AVs need to be about -3 lvls. Hero is slightly higher than an elite boss but an AV is much higher.

    Cone range was removed some time ago - I think it was I5 and all powers which used it were changed to using range enhancements.

    But to get back on topic

    personally I find shadowfall to be something of an end hog for a toggle so slotting it with end red is recommended if you are planning to run other toggles at the same time.

    Still remember the first shot I took with petrifying gaze on Infernal and seeing him held - could never manage that with my mind controller but then again in CoH he's an AV but only a hero in CoV - still felt good though,

    I'm tending to go with a minimum of 2 accs on anything that can take it - at the expense of damage if necessary - its better to hit and do something than to keep missing. This is particularly important in PvP where you can expect to see purples being used but also applies in PvE against higher level foes.
    This is also where drain life can be useful - if you miss with TG you still have a second chance with a heal - saved me more than once although I tend to use it more as an extra attack than for its heal usually.

    Love the debuffs though - it great stacking them on a scrapper and watching them trying to hit you whilst you take your time and snipe them from melee range - Flurry of Blows - you mean flurry of misses or as I did in the last fight with one - chuck a snowball at her.
    That lasted about 15 minutes before she swallowed about 5 pressies to get enough acc to drop my debuffs.

  12. Union for RP - although atm Defiant's hardware seems to be roleplaying having been hit by a preemptive strike from Lord Recluse and he won't let us back in.
  13. Mind should be able to get there as well now that everything has d/l at last on the second try ( I think from what I saw this morning).
    I don't think she should be greatly affected by ED - (sometime I really should think about using one of my respecs as I will have missed getting the free one this time) well at least not for Hami I think its only storm summoning and Terrify that are affected for damage and probably the Psi defence and stealth as well - not that they help for this.
