I'm inclined to suspect either data corruption or a driver conflict.
Can you check you don't have multiple drivers installed for the same component also try disabling the on-board video when you are using a seperate card, if you are running any other cards try changing them to a different slot if possible and try reseating your video card.
Would also be worthwhile running a disc surface scan in case that is failing - which may impact either the driver itself or your disc cache file.
Similarly try running a memory test such as Memtest to eliminate any problem with a failing memory strip. -
I've noticed when you click login it will clear the password and reset region to US - needless to say the login then fails. I can only login from the main credentials submission button and not the one displayed from the reply button.

I'd suggest it might be an idea to try improving the cooling first - adding an extra system fan is a cheap option - preferably blowing directly at the GPU - also make sure cables are not obstructing airflow - cable tie them back to the case out of the way.

Are you running the game in Windowed mode? If so Aero may cripple your performance on lower spec machines.
That can be disabled in Windows as can other related bits of eye candy. -
If it was only you that mapservered I'd suspect your PC, Local Network or possbly ISP.
If it was everyone on the server I'd suspect the servers or network at that end.
As it is several but not everyone I'll suspect its a network issue somewhere in between
That being the case there is little that can easily be done other than trying to identify the problem link and bringing pressure on the providers to address it. It may be that a bit of tweaking of timeouts might help reduce the occurrences but that is only patching the symptoms and not fixing the underlying problem.
You need to raise a support request. They will probably ask you to obtain some network statistics but even then if the problem has cleared there may not be much information to be gained. However over time a picture can develop pointing to the possible sources of the problem. -
You should also check your card details - particularly the expiry date as if this has passed the renewal will fail - which is of course correct behaviour.

OK OK stop rabbiting on about it and just paws for a moment before some smells a rat following some of the codes being sqirrelled away. grrrrrrroan

Quote:I first came across it about 5 or so years ago and it was about £1000 with a max of 8Gb installed then - at £199 +RAM - its only about double the price of comparable size SSDs 6 months ago.Wow $500 for up to 64GB thats tough to swallow, but if you got it...
Not really targetted at the gaming market but for someone that needs a really fast disk that cost could be tiny compared to the time savings - remember you are talking about something thats 10X the read speed of an SSD and a lot more than that for writing. -
The Prestige sprints are still there - they aren't temps but yes all it needs is a bit of lag and you can be dead without realising you could be in any sort of trouble.
Don't forget also the temps granted in the final mish to take the hydra down. -
You need to craft half of the requirement in each level range - if its an odd number needed the last one can come from either range.

Copy CohUpdater.EU.exe to CohUpdater.exe
That should fix it -
Try this
http://www.hyperossystems.co.uk/
Its a ram drive so like an SSD it plugs into your drive connectors but uses standard RAM modules rather than flash memory so is a *LOT* faster -
Did you reinstall motherboard chipset drivers after installing Windows
-
That sounds like a poor connection to your monitor
First thing to try
Unplug your monitor cable and reconnect it - that should hopefully fix it (it should dislodge dirt and also the friction should break any oxidation layer on the contacts) - if not try some switch cleaner on the connectors. Repeat this at the monitor end as well if that can be unplugged. -
Quote:True enough I was forgetting that bit, however another clamp is also applied beforehand so the 95% max could still be reduced and the 5% could still be increased when fighting purple mobs.It doesn't matter what you are fighting. The clamp of 5-95% is applied AFTER all the level modifier calculations are already done.
ParagonWiki: Attack Mechanics -
But it was so much funnier when it was someone else at lvl 50 plummetting into a bunch of lvl 1 mobs who then made their 5% to hit roll and finished them off.

Quote:Have we just found the person responsible for crashing the servers and generating all the lag?I once /afk'd myself into not being able to speak.
I sent a tell to someone who was AFK, and started to chat to someone in team right after I hit enter. The auto-reply smacked into my afk, which sent an auto-reply back...
A hundred billion auto-replies later and neither of us could talk for the cooldown. -
Or next to Lady Grey and wait for someone doing Ramiel's Arc to return to her and then use it to get back.
But if you are in a team you will probably see about 4 open from team mates when you exit mish - just click on it if you really don't want to ask for one.
Just make sure you go to the top ofthe tower once you go through and get the badge otherwise it will all have been a waste of time. -
Quote:Not that difficult - you can stand on top of it without being droned.Curiously the only day job the Predator badge doesn't override is the Pilot day job (and I've only checked in Bloody Bay). Good luck getting that close on a hero. Even so it will not award for vigilantes or heroes, however you might still get credit for when you change to being a villain.

I created a thread on the UE test forum when the sneak peak was opened up on this and gave the solution to it there - basically the same as Tex mentioned above.
The problem arises from the instructions to get on the test server which say to rename the updater - they should say to copy it.
Oh and test is currently down except when opened up for sneak peaks -
Quote:UntrueThat's not actually a crash though. When Domination ends it doesn't apply any sort of debuff or -attribute effect, which is generally what is meant by a crash. All that happens is that Domination's bonus effects end, which is no more of a crash than when Practiced Brawler ends.
When Domination ends - all accrued progress on building up domination is lost - thats a crash. You have to build it back up again irrespective of whether the recharge timer has passed.
When Practiced Brawler ends you can fire it off again as soon as it has recharged nothing else needs to build up. -
You did submit a petition and not a bug report didn't you - they go to different departments and only the first will get a GM response and you must be online for them to assist.
Check the issue on your account and see in it has been updated.
Normally a they will respond with about half an hour but I have seen 90 minute waits before and occasionally down to about 10 minutes. -
OK first of all he is running the memory at stock speed - its 1600MHz memory.
Yes bad memory could be a possibility - it could also be counterfeit memory where it is being relabelled as higher spec than it really is.
Other possibilites though are the other memory settings are being exceeded - e.g you have high latency ram but are trying to run it at low latency settings.
Another possibility is by increasing the memory bus speed you may depending on the motherboard have inadvertantly overclocked other parts of the system in particular if you overclock the card busses the timing signals for things like video cards may be totally wrong.
Look out for setting in the BIOS to allow you to set these independently and check the values keep your busses within spec.
I'm also assuming each memory module is part of the same matched set and you don't have a second set of memory modules installed.
Note that strictly speaking the memory modules don't need to be matched but if they aren't then you will need to restrict settings to the lowest of all 3 on both clock speed and latency etc settings. -
Strictly thats only against even level foes - if you are fighting +3 your max to-hit will be lower as will your minimum. Conversely if you are fighting greys then your max will be higher than 95%
