This is one thing I use global email for - store some there whilst in mish then reclaim and sell them after completing the mish

Is there an overclock set up on this as the non K version doesn't have an unlocked multiplier and your symptons do fit in with a failed overclock.
Can you try clearing your bios settings - the MB manual should tell you how to do so - probably a case of shorting a jumper but some are more friendly then check if it will load up with default settings.
Actually forget "should" just reread the system description you gave and I think that is the same MB as I have in my system at home - came with a 4.5GHz overclock but showed precisely those symptoms - could only get a stable overclock up to 4.3GHz. That is a 2500K CPU though.
If you don't have the manual I can check when I get home as to where the reset jumper is and the procedure. -
Quote:Depends on how much money you have. You won't easily find someone willing to run you through for less than that though, I know, I've looked.
Its only Freedom that I've noticed people are prepared to pay. Generally people ask their SG or friends for help if they want to bypass content on other servers. -
How about that reporter holding interviews in Sirens?
Or any of those pedestrians that insist on pushing you out of their way - or the idiot you have just rescued and led back to the way out just to turn round and run straight back into the trouble you have just risked yourself to save them from. -

Not if they are your own pets - they shouldn't be able to push you or be pushed by you - instead it was changed so you could walk through them - team mates can't though'

Quote:Credit card company won't refund if you have purchased the wrong item (unless is it wrongly described at least).if the ram is braded by kingston or crusal i would call them up and see if they let you rma back for a swap. if not if you used a credit card or a bank card call them up and file a charge back. most local computers stores if the boxes are still sealed they should just swap them out. most little vendors buy a box of ram for kingston or 3 party source and drop them into little pink anti static bags.
The credit card protection applies where the company you have purchased from fails to meet their contractual obligations and will only apply once a value threshold is passed - in the UK thats £100 and no way will two sticks of RAM reach that unless you bought other things in the same transaction.
Having said that most companies realise that is makes good business sense to offer refunds or more likely exchange or credit where the customer has made a mistake - they may well charge a restocking fee however.
If you had asked the company for RAM suitable for your system then them supplying something that isn't suitable without warning you would constitute misrepresentation in which case they would be legally obligated to refund you all your reasonable expenses. If you had asked for DDR2 ram and received that then the principle of caveat emptor applies. -
Quote:Twice not even 10 minutes of play time my computer just blinked off with no warning.
This is sounding more like an underpowered or failing PSU going out of spec and the system automatically shutting down to prevent damage rather than a problem with video card drivers.
Driver problem would be more likely to lead to the system hanging or crashing you back to the desktop rather than the instant power off you are seeing.
It could also be overheating so first thing to check is that all of your system fans, CPU fan Graphics card fan and PSU fan are working and clear of dust. -
Quote:Even when it said Board Train you could still use the Striga Ferry out of Striga. Basically any zone transfer which gave a dialog to select the zone will work - this includes ones which normally won't if the destination zone has a second instance spawned.Come to think of it, I think they may not have always been called Board Transit. Back in the day, it used to be Board Train, or Board Ferry redside, but at some point (want to say after they merged the ferry/train lines) they changed it, hence the current confusion.

Quote:It's possible back in the day, you weren't slotted properly. Nowadays, with IO sets being more common and easier to get, you found the fight easier.
Plus back in the day, Regen was a tad more fragile, haha. Willpower is generally better than Regen at taking down hard targets.
Also there was one period when they had buffed their regen +10000% so if you were comparing to then you would see a big difference. Its still higher than it was before then but not to the same extent.
Also have you got a level shift now?
Probably more likely is that you now better understand the game mechanics and are using better tactics. -

Quote:Quick question, how did you manage to do that? Im thinking in doing the same (soloing the SS TFs) but the click 4 at the same time pushes me back
Alt Tab would probably be quick enough for the 4 simultaneous these need. You have a few seconds whilst the first glowie bar scrolls down.
Two machines each with two screens would make it trivial or even using windowed mode.
Cavern Trial requiring 8 would be a bigger challenge. -
Quote:Damage inspirations, Venomous Dagger(-Reg), and Hit him very, very hard before he can bifurcate too much.
Outside of that, ask some friends for help. Kinetics or Titan Weapons(or both!) can take him down quickly.
As can any toon with holds. On a 'troller or dom he's a pansy as his bifurcations won't get a chance to spawn. Its normally the Honoree I have a problem with on squishies. -
Quote:If you had bothered to actually check out the quoted post, you would have seen the following just after the quote:
Not on this thread there's not. I shouldn't need to pull up the post you are quoting from in order to check that you haven't omitted anything relevant and if you had actually bothered to post that part I wouldn't need to. -
More likely its intended to keep server storage requirements to a manageable level and for that there would be no difference between a mail to a character name or to a global name.

Quote:Great... I forgot about those. I need to update that list now... Actually I'll wait for Issue 22 and add the Dark Astoria list at the same time.
May also want to add that you can gain credit towards them whilst of an opposed alignment although you cannot receive the badge itself. -
HD 6630M
At least your graphics settings are low.
The video driver dates look old as well but several others have found difficulty getting stable drivers for the Mobility series cards. -
Platform: Unknown Windows (WinNT 6.01.3505 SP1)
Was this (pre upgrade) a beta copy of Win7
The upgraded copy is correctly reporting
More importantly since upgrading to 64bit is the game behaving itself.
Also not a lot of free space on the D: drive but given the size of it that looks as if it may be just a restore partition. If you are running anything from that drive Windows performance is likely to be severely hit with onl 11% free. -
Quote:What Ironblade said. I put instructions in there for you. Now you've gone and messed it all up.
I don't see anything *super* wrong.... some stuff I'd probably have uninstalled/not installed in the first place...
Not real sure why I see AMD and NVidia stuff in there... perhaps ATI video on an Nvidia chipset or vice versa? I'd have to guess that's it...
Oh, this is interesting:
O4 - Startup: Kidspiration Install Shortcut.lnk = E:\Install.exe
Is that CD/DVD in the drive?
I think my other suggestions in the other thread might apply here, overall...
Boot mode: Safe mode with network support
HijackThis really needs to be not in safe mode as most of your drivers won't be loaded up.
do you get this when not in safe mode
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings,ProxyOverride = 127.0.0.1:9421 -
Quote:Considering my migrane 'n' all, I just caught this part and it threw a red flag to me:
Looks to me like there may be more than just some choppy graphics going on here.
This looks odd as well
Motherboard Model: (empty)
Would be worth checking that the morherboard chipset drivers are installed. If not I'd expect a good chance of problems with Soundcards, Networking, USB, and anything using expansions slots such as graphics cards.
You haven't uninstalled them by mistake thinking that NVidia only does graphics cards? - they also do the chipsets on many motherboards -

someone entering late or yourself if you need to hit hospital may have a very nasty surprise though. I suppose you could set the ambush so there are no mobs in the mission level range so none spawn.

Quote:I have norton antivirus installed but i can't figure out how to let programs thru
Is that just Norton AV or the whole of Symantec's security suite?
If you have the firewall in the security suite running then disable windows defender. Running two software firewalls on the same PC is usually a bad idea.
You may also need to check your router's logs incase the NAT translation there is blocking. -
Is your email client set up to handle HTML mail or are you displaying everything as text?
How you set that will depend on which email client you are using.
That shouldn't prevent it displaying in a browser though. -
Quote:I'll have to remember this myself next time I see a box in a store in the UK since I've always had a US account.
You very rarely see CoH boxes reduced enough over here to make them worthwhile buying just for the month anyway.
I've seen a few GvE editions in Game at £1.99-£4.99 - although I've also seen CoH DVD editions at £30 - wonder why that doesn't sell
