  3. A good chunk of the people who had characters in the Teen Squadron, who went on into a bunch of different SGs. I can't even remember their globals anymore.
  4. Loyalists basically are forced to side with the resistance and destroy their own city/organization instead of putting someone reasonable like Marchand into power ):

Doesn't becoming an incarnate explicitly circumvent any limitations a natural would have? Being serial, I have not done any of the incarnate content besides unlocking the alpha slot

And I do have to agree with Xanatos a little bit. I know you get your Big Damn Heroes moment in DA, but First Ward made me feel about as far from heroic as the game can without me playing a straight up villain.
  6. Hey GG, do you have any pictures of the mech armor?
  7. Do we whack cole at the end of this trial?
  8. I have not done any of the new DA content, but one thing I want to know from reading through this thread: Why can't we just get the Rikti to slap the battalions **** like they did in their own universe? Is there some sort of difference here?

This is the one thing i've been wondering. By the end of SSA #4 you know you aren't the only one looking for States, so will the ENTIRE SEARCH PARTY end up holding the idiot ball?

I seriously doubt redside will be the ones killing States, outside of some indirect method, at that.

AND IS THIS ALL HAPPENING CHRONOLOGICALLY WITH OTHER CONTENT, BEFORE PRAETORIA, OR WHAT?!?! D:
  10. The hate for states is all because of the dev who had the same name. It's pretty silly, people even attribute his attitude to the character. The only other thing he's done is been one of the strongest signature heros in the game, and people just cant stand to have someone other than their characters in the spotlight.
  11. There are still two other missions in the arc. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you folks should wait till SSA #5 comes out, AT LEAST, before you go and start bawwing about how the entire plots been ruined.

    But yeah. Anime...yawn. Mythology...yawn. Tron...yawn. Traditional MMO styles...yawn. Fedoras...yawn.
Last I checked the superhero genre was a pretty wide-encompassing one. Could we use more TRADITIONAL hero stuff? I think so.

P.S Silver gale is being sarcastic

Yep, because the better option is to let the guy who was at the cusp of breaking you mentally and killing another person off scott free so he can try it again later. There isn't anything saying she has to abide by black-and-white morality. And lets face it, prison security in Paragon is garbage.

"Paying attention to the story" =/= "creating missions where a large portion of the time is spent standing around watching NPCs talk."
Where's your evidence for this, all knowing master storyteller? I'd say standing around watching NPCs talk is viable method of weaving a plot (albeit a boring one), cutscenes in most games can attest to tat. But it's just an opinion.

About the Faultline mention ... that just seems ..weird, especially on a fresh character. You can run the first part of the arc at level 10, right? BEFORE the Faultline content can be even done. So are they saying what happened with Synapse went down years ago, too?
  14. There is a 'good' mirror universe where Arachnos never took over the Rogue Islands, but manticore was a sleeper agent of Recluse who went on to kill BaB before they both went underground in Africa

One were the Project Destiny breakout was failed...

And another where the outbreak epidemic was never stopped

Thanks for putting words into my mouth, I guess.

The ultimate goal of any company is to make loads 'a money

I don't see how this can come as such a shock, although i will be an unhappy camper if they charge for the extra staff weapons

Echoing this. At the very least Ep. 4 beats the other 3 easily heroside. Too bad my computer died just as I got the last cutscene. ):
  18. I don't understand how you can hate the SSAs when they have more personality than the entire phalanx combined.

Twinshot talking down to you? Gee, it's not like she's a veteran from a secret military organization while your some fresh faced hero.

They are definitely a step up from most characters blueside, I think most of the hate comes from the 'NCsoft didn't write the dialogue to fit my character! this arc is terrible!' folk
  19. Loved FW, but it gets way too depressing and ends in a sort of downer ending imo. Bu I guess thats just praetoria for you
  20. would love to get the PPD hardsuit costume pieces in the editor, specifically the boss/lt versions
  21. never really understood why people hate fusionette, while flamebeaux is delibrately made to be annoying as hell

'Cuz in the new arc, the only reason he 'fails' is because your *** was too slow, then he was binded by something specifically made to hold him

Although to whoever mentioned Galaxy City basically not even existing anymore, I did think it was weird that it is never brought up, especially when Atlas was supposed to get rocked by meteors?

Here's how I imagine the cutscene playing out:

Random Evil Dude/Cole: Statesman, if you touch this bomb, you will DIE!

Statesman starts to run towards the bomb, but is stopped as Sister Psyche puts her hand on his arm.

Psyche: no dont do it statesman (in all lowercase)

Statesman gently pushes her away and turns his head back towards the bomb, a single teardrop streaming down his cheek.

Statesman: Come now, I've always been this way.

Statesman rushes to the bomb and uses hand clap, as the camera pans offscreen and all you see is a huge number float upwards as the bomb explodes.

At this point, everyone in Paragon City, even the Vahz in the sewers and the Devouring Earth in Eden let out an echoing "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" as our valiant hero is no more.

Camera cuts back to statesman's faceplate flying through the sky like a frisbee above steel canyon, as images of his past are shown in the background. The scene ends as the mask eventually flies into outer space, creating a sparkle and, seconds later, exploding into fireworks in the shape of statesman doing a thumbs up.

    Make it happen!
    Would pay to see this
  24. None of the phalanx has been really fleshed out it feels like, their praetorian counterparts feel ALOT MORE in-depth. I'd care more about praetor white dying than BaB. I like manticore a little bit more than the rest solely because of the Shining Stars Arc.

Statesman feels too important to die, and if they DO kill him it'll just feel like they're doing it for shock value.

I guess Synapse can die, he doesn't really seem to do much of anything
