Must not be needed for the badge.. Eh.. I'm like countless AVs not needed for the badge.
Though.. I'm not surprised.
Joining countless TFs from BMT and having a grand time. -
Quote:I don't care about travel powers being on or shields (example: Deflection, Temp Invulnerability, or fire shield.) It's more, "Hey! I'm going to run blazing aura!" is what ticks me off.Auto heal I can agree with 100%. However call me insensitive but I don't have lag issues at all, so why should or would I think to turn off my other toggles while shopping? SJ, SS, stealth and acro are always on. If I am playing something with shields, they will be on.
I do turn off things like hotfeet, not because of lag but because running through a zone with an aoe or pbaoe power on is just retarded.
A few weeks ago someone rudely messaged me and "told" me to turn off my frackin super speed that I was lagging them out. I kindly turned on every toggle I had and told them to rudely go /wrists for not having a decent computer and connection. Normally my reaction if asked nicely would have been much more helpful.
TLDR version....realize that a HUGE percentage of people that play this game are playing on highend pc's with awesome connections and are not intentionally trying to lag anyone out. -
Best. Flash. Game. Evar.

A vet giving complements to a rookie for good buffage and what not.. I really miss this.
One of my first characters wasn't on Champion, it was actually on Liberty (He still is actually) and I didn't know what I was getting myself into, needless to say.. I rolled an empathy/radiation blast defender. Awesome name. Had some awesome people help me out and I was a pretty good healer. Or so I was told. =P -

Sounds like something I can do.. Hmm.. Decisions... We'll have to see about what happens

Now, I have to agree with Jester...

Like Cobalt said, it's hard to see a player from BMT leave. Even more so, a player that played villains.
I will join you in the redside raid, I'll bring my lvl 50 fire/thorn dominator.
Noobish question now:
TO?
Titan Origin? -

Okay....
Let's calm down..
*flashes bag*
Let's turn those frowns upside down. -
I finally found a name for my elec/elec tanker coming i16. Yep.
Other's people may like:
- Paragon Bolt(s)
- Paragon Volt(s)
No joke, last time I checked these were available, I gave up "Paragon Bolt" for the name I found. -
Quote:This also happens when using Hot Feet after Nemesis Staff.[ QUOTE ]
The powers Pocket D teleport, Base teleport, and Mission teleport are all getting interrupted somehow. In both animation and power execution. I will not be using anything, not even touching my mouse and the power will fail sometimes. Sometimes I can see the animations getting briefly interrupted and then quickly going back to continue the "casting teleport" animation.
[/ QUOTE ]
I believe that having someone summon or despawn an Oro portal nearby causes this.
Bug: Incorrect animation for Enervating Field.
Model: Male
AT: Defender. Rad/Rad
To create: Call up the Nemesis Staff Vet power, and target an opponent. While the staff is out, activate Enervating Field. The character will take the staff in both hands and use it to "fling" the energy at the target. The staff stays in the hands after the animation is finished.
Notes: This is a very cool animation. I wouldn't mind seeing this turn up somewhere else for us to use. Cool or not though, I think this is a bug. -
Quote:>:O Lies and blasphemy! You forgot to tell him about blappers as well.. Since Horus fell down on the job..First and foremost my advice, learn the ATs, what do they do, what is their basic premise, then go into the snazzier things where you can make an AT do silly things that make people double take when you succeed. Every AT has a very basic premise of what they do.
Tanks- Your main job is to keep everyone alive via aggro management and herding critters for the "squishies" to lay into. All about keeping yourself alive with your shield powers to keep the others alive, attacks are a secondary for a reason.
Scrappers- ...don't know if I should advice on these guys cuz of how biased I am towards them...but...scrappers are awesome! I mean...scrappers are the safe DPS machines who can take a hit and stay alive. All about finding a balances with your attacks and defense powers.
Blasters- You're a DPS machine with a jaw of glass, you really want someone in front of you to keep your rear alive. Ranged attacks are a primary for a reason, you have some melee attacks but those should be a last resort at first.
Defenders- Support, support, support. That's your job. You keep every one alive by buffing and debuffing and healing. You have some of the bests buffs and debuffs in the game, use them.
Controllers- One of the broadest character choices in the game, they have a lot they can do. Initial concept is riddle the enemy with status effects while buffing and debuffing.
Peacebringers and Warshades- These guys are advanced and I really don't advise even bothering to roll one up until you've learned the game mechanics well because it's very easy to get confused on what you want to do with them.
As I said these are the original and generic uses for these ATs. Later when you've learned more about the game and can tweak stats it's quite possible to have ATs evolve way beyond their original intentional usage. That's it for the hero types. I'll let someone else talk about the ebil guys.
Blappers - A mixture of a scrapper and blaster. You have the melee attacks from a blaster's secondary, in your case energy manipulation (good choice). You run in blasting and don't stop until the group falls, it's a very fun tactic, there are some side effects.. Well.. You die. I'm not sure how you feel when you die in game.. I'm cool.. You don't ALWAYS die, but it happens, and when it does, shrug it off and get back up, there's a badge for it! (actually there are 6, and I got all of 'em!)
((Actually there's more, but I'm just talking about the debt badges, I could add the damage taken badges))
I am a living, breathing blapper. Did I say I was good at it? No, but I do enjoy it. -
Energy/Energy is a great starter for a new player, I must say.
I don't know what Stark is talking about with this "Beware of the penguins" they're nice.. They don't bite.. Usually.
Play the game. That's the best advice out there. And if you have any questions, you can get a channel invite to BMT of Champion and ask in the channel. Most everyone there will be glad to help out. -
Veterans who run around Atlas talking to lowbies street sweeping and automatically labeling them a noob.

So does this apply just to masterminds or does it also apply to all pet carriers? :3

Good luck Nibbz!
You'll hafta remind me ingame.. 'Cause I can't get on vent.. Just scream at me ingame.. I should listen.. -
Looking for an electric related name (I would also like the name to be heroic if possible
), taken or open. Will trade a name I'm currently holding.. PM me for names or post here for name ideas.
Edit: I just released the name "Bruzor" out into the open.. Good name, but I grew weary of never playing him and other things. My first 50 deleted. It is a misspelling of "Bruiser", but hey.. It does look pretty awesome. Hope it finds a good home to someone who likes it. -
Wow, alot more people have a shield/mace than I thought..
What they are saying is true, fun to play and very survivable.
Easily soft-capped as well. Run around and shield charge + Crowd control anything is always good fun.
Other sets.. I just rolled a Ice/SS from advice I received from other players on BMT, so I'm not sure if I can get behind it and say it is fun. Looks like crazy fun though. Should be interesting. -
Here are my results, in all their glory and server latency + mapservering:
A Nemesis Plot (Fire/Kinetics Controller) - 11-50
Desolate Earth (Fire/Thorny Dominator) - 42-43
Hurray... -
Good.. I don't like the fact of having a "_NA" attached to my name =p
I also like we have to upload our avatars again.. Because I can't find mine.
That being said.. Looks pretty neat. -

Electro....not to rain on your parade but ITF is not the best TF to run the kill all, only because the second mission is so full of lag. STF, LGTF, even the new TF is better suited for this. I love the idea though. I would like to do an Eden trial this way in the future.
[/ QUOTE ]
The entire reason for the lag in "lag valley" is the raw number of NPCs - if you kill them off, the lag will go away. I've done it before.

There's no doubt in my mind that he has.. And I'd be so down for this! Got a 41 fire/thorn dom, and with my sporatic internet like it is, it'll be 42 or 43. MAYBE 44 by double XP. I want him to be fifty though.. We'll see and I'll keep you updated.
