I think this solution sucks, regardless of whether I get my handle back or not. In the end someone will feel cheated. Just voicing that opinion. When this is posted isn't it 9 hours or more ahead in Europe? Like I have access to the boards here at 1:48 PM at my job, but it's 10 PM or later over there.. doubt they're on the forums.

I don't herd if I don't feel like it, to on my sd/wm. There's no point, group to group, 'nuff said and faster. Some times I do, but then I really just stand in place after jumping three groups.. It's not really herding anymore. All the baddies come to you.
I miss my ninjas. That was herding. Spines/invuln aggro'ing the whole map and taking them out with ease. -

The way I read it, Brutes and Stalkers are getting the change to the power, they just aren't getting the power any earlier. Also, if you look at it Electric Brutes will get Energize at the exact same level they currently get Energy Drain (Energy Aura) so, they're not really missing out that much.
Tanks and Scrappers will probably get Lightning Reflexes and Energize swapped around.
If they changed the order of the powers for already existing characters it would break a lot of builds that took Lightning Reflexes at 20 or 22. If you can't get the power until 28 after they change it, it would just disappear. Energize being taken at 28 wouldn't matter, because it would still be available by then.
I expected that change to be honest. They CAN'T let tanks and scrappers keep Conserve Power, because it's available in their APPs. They aren't going to allow the potential for perma Conserve Power by doubling up on it.
Hopefully with that in mind Brutes and Stalkers DO get the change, seeing as how Conserve Power and Power Sink in the same set are kind of redundant.
It's probably either a new skin or something only devs can choose from. Taking a second and third look over at them.. They are coming from the hand and not above the hand.
