Just to make sure i'm clear, this is the issue. You feel a unique, ultra-rare, unnecessary item is overpriced in a market where the buyers, like yourself, determine its value and price. This makes you unhappy because you desperately want one.
I can use anecdotal examples like the fact that my best overall character contains 1 set of purples (softcapped sr scrapper with aid self and tough). I can point out that those "overpriced" items are also equally "overpriced" anytime you sell one. I can point out that money falls like rain in this game. But i won't because i'll simply pose a question to you instead.
How much should a purple sell for? Along that line, how much should an absolute amazement sell for? Armageddon? How about a numina's convalescence, arguably more valuable than some purples? Before you answer, let me pose a couple others.
Should you get to decide how much they're worth? If not you, then who? Can i (my prices may differ from yours)? It seems to me that the best way would be to let the consumers decide, no? Now, how would you suggest that they do that?
Oh, and because elk's crazy, i do have 2 accounts, but i don't farm, i don't exploit, hell, at this point, i barely qualify as playing. -

Seems a few people play GWs.. I really just sparked up on it to make the wait of i16 more tolerable.. I think I'll get back on CoX today though.. GWs is fun, but.. You can only go so far running as fast as they do.. Which isn't fast at all XD.

Gorgeous though, like what GW:2 should look like honestly. However I can say I have purchased the game at this point and will play it for at least my 37 days (that's right with a prepurchase one of the bonuses is an additional 7 days of game play) and see if I enjoy it.
Weird things I noticed were the odd controls. WASD standard forward and strafes, not so much here. WS fucntion as expected, but AD turn instead of strafe. QE do your strafing. Maybe it's just me but that seems odd.
Anyways... I'll spend more time on it tomorrow. -

Looks cool, I like the landscapes and character designs. It does bear a small resemblance to WoW in some landscapes, but not much. I only have one question... Can I play open beta for free?

I've had a second account for awhile and I've been wanting to make another spines/invuln, but after some proliferated and new power sets added to scrappers' secondaries, I want to know:
Is spines/invuln still as good as the rest? I'm open for any secondary (except FA, SR, and DA, due to the fact that I have lvl 50s of FA and SR. And my DA is currently 38, so I wouldn't like to repeat those) I've looked at WP and Regen, I know regen is really good paired with spines and old school. I would love to replicate my invuln seeing as I don't have an invuln (anything), though I am open to ElecA when i16 hits..
Does anyone have a good spines/invuln build they mind posting for me to see? And/Or would I be better off going ElecA? -

Thanks guys, now I have another question..
I'm more of an old school person when it comes to stone armor, so anyone got a build with teleport as the travel power?
I think I can fit in the concept of fire into stone armor, so I'm torn between that and the old fashion crowd control - Stone melee. Yes, teaming tank.
Prefer to use granite as an "Oh crap wth?" button. So, see what you can do. I'm no good when it comes to slotting sets and what not either. I know how to build power wise, just not set wise. -
So, I've been wanting to make a stone armor for a long time.. With the new FX on the armors coming with i16, I've been wanting to make one even more.
I want to know what is the best secondary for stone?
If I'm going to live outside granite armor:
-Is stone melee worth taking with stone armor?
-Can the damage be good?
I'm open for advice at this point.

Which, if you've read through some of our threads, you see is very apparent how we got it. (I didn't help) Great server, sparks up around 12pm-1pm est and doesn't stop until the wee hours of the morning. (I'm an east coast player)
And don't believe what you hear about the peinguins (Pingus), they're nice. But what ever you do, DON'T take your wallet out of your pocket.. They'll take it >:|, I'm comin' for ya ping.
