In the 1-50 (+0) game my experience has been that FF does nothing except make a team foolproof. If your team is already foolproof? Well, then... in my experience, you're in a distinct minority.

I'm not going to be around at normal BBQ hours- pick a time to party among yourselves- but I will be burning around 6 billion!

I made more than half a billion taking a character to level 35 on task forces and cashing in the hero merits at 30,32,33 and 35.

I don't even know if that counts as making money fast any more.

Everest: the only thing that's stopping you is your unwillingness to read the dozens of guides here and apply them. Seriously, it's like late-night-infomercial easy. Sell twenty things, make 10 million on each of them. (Yes, as has been pointed out, it's not QUITE as easy as "pick something at random, buy it, craft it, sell it" but lord, it's not that much harder.)

Well, Malta gunfighters are always going to hit disproportionately hard because they have both Accuracy and ToHit. But, yeah, they do S/L.

(also, for the OP: As mentioned earlier, some things that do Lethal damage don't have the "Lethal" keyword on their attacks. I thought Behemoth Fire Sword was one of these but Red Tomax says otherwise.

I will also point out that if you pop "enough purples to get S/L to 45%" then you're probably boosting all other damage types and positions to at least 25%, cutting damage from those types by half as well.

I just put up a bid for 101,000 on Kinetic Weapons. AND I AM LAUGHING. Silently, but no less real for all that.

I use the word "Brach" sometimes. Female hunting hound, fertile.

25 defense = half of what WOULD hit misses. You live about twice as long.
32.5 defense = about 2/3 of what would hit, misses. One small purple gets you to the cap.
40 defense = 80% of what would hit misses. You live five times as long, mez starts to be less of a problem (can't mez what you can't hit.)
45 defense = 90% of hits become misses. You live ten times as long.

45 defense is five times as good as 25 defense.

Quick road test to find out what this means FOR YOU: Take two small purples and fight. That [assumign you had 0 defense going in] is what it feels like to have 25% defense.
Take four small purples for your next fight: that is what it feels like to have soft-capped defense. Choose accordingly.

At one point I offered to give a whiner-on-the-boards 100 million inf (it was a lot at the time) to shut up. For some reason they didn't take it.

There are some occasionally-expensive ones at level 30: Cloud Senses, Basilisk's, Shield Breaker and the like. I think those are just really low supply, so demand is highly variable.

I've had this thought a couple of times already today, and I think it needs to happen.

We need something like this for build threads.

I need suggestions for the spaces and/or the names. I have:

- Exemplar? Why?
- Math Does Not Add Up
- Unreadable Mid's Data Chunk Only
- Crucial Power = Set Mule !
