I know a couple of people who made mistakes and admitted it... I may be thinking of another argument, though.
-
By the way, if people are out of slots, I have a ton of alts. PM me, tell me what you have for sale, what you're charging and i will buy and relist at the same price.
...yes, this means I'm donating 10%. No big, i'm still comfortably in the black on this project. -
... yeah, we inherited our money.

Semirandom thought:
With AE (as with ouroboros) you get to choose your level. At some point they upped levelling speed for 11-20 and 40-50 - and they did that not by lowering the XP per level, but by increasing the XP per badguy.
If you pick baddies that cap at 20 or 16 (do Skulls cap at 16 or am I misremembering?) you get to keep Stamina and stay in your happy kill zone.
If you pick the right IO's to frankenslot you don't lose much, if any, damage and acc in your happy kill zone. -
L32 TOD dam/end/rech and L32 Freebird: Stealth generated. Listed as recipes.

To the OP: There's something we have maybe been taking for granted and not mentioning.
Defense and Resistance are both things that, the more you have, the better they work. So Weave, BY ITSELF, is not much good. Tough, BY ITSELF, is not much good. If you have Weave, and 3% Defense from somewhere else, and 5% from a third place, you're maybe starting to get somewhere.
An Explanation. -
There are two powers that make "things go flying all over". Three counting Nova, but nobody cares if they go flying if they're not getting up afterwards. Every other power makes ONE thing go flying, at most.
My basic rule was (I'm very rusty on Energy) "if I shoot it, it's mine." I pretty much took the job of single target assassin.
Energy Torrent can be used, with careful placement, as a singletarget attack.
It's also probably useful to leave sprint on, take swift instead of hurdle, and slot 'em both for runspeed.
Also it is worth figuring out which AOE immobilizes have roots and which don't. (The only "don't" I can think of is Tenebrous Tentacles, but like I said- I'm rusty.) If the enemy is rooted, go wild. -
Clouded: It is true that your endurance will be low if you build like that. (I have a Dark/En tank myself.)
It is also true that you frequently hit an AOE and stun multiple bosses.
It is also true that you can stand next to an even-con Malta Sapper until your aura kills them.
Personally, I find in general that if I'm on a team, I almost never have endurance issues on any character. Enemies just die too fast. -
I was going to say "The Banished Pantheon is the only organization I can think of, except the eyeball squad, that doesn't draw from the citizens of Paragon" but that's not true. At one point a hostage says something like "I recognize that shaman! He was my professor of ancient studies!"

Crafted? or "ingredients plus crafting cost?" And do you count the 25, 30, 35 and 40 so's as well?
... what's the word for when both sides of a purported debate are, in fact, on the same side? -
... or some of 'em play on teams with Kinetics or Rads regularly. Or empaths.
-
You're in the golden levels for Blasters. Fortunately, you have access to Shiver soon, and so when it starts getting rougher you have an excellent tool to calm things back down.
-
Once you have Stamina you don't really need end reduction in the small bubbles, in my experience. I don't usually bubble imps or henchmen, though.
In the OP you saidQuote:There is no Force Field defender that deals out Blasteresque damage. Speaking as someone with:This build can give a whole team 45.1% global defense, and deal out Blasteresque damage.
FF/Elec at 50
FF/Rad at 50
FF/Sonic staying at 35 (Midlevel crisis)
FF/Sonic at 18
I may be wrong but it's not lack of experience speaking.
Edit: I also have six or eight high level blasters. -
Quote:... and yet I played it to 50 in issue 8. Weird.
I don't disagree with you. DA is pretty unplayable without a ToE: +End.
It's not the toggles that kill DA, it's Dark Regen being an end hog coupled with the low resistances of DA which means the DR crutch needs to be used often. Turn DR into something like Healing Flames and the set would be far more enjoyable, which also explains why DA plays like any other resistance set once u get ur hands on a ToE: +End. -
Hmm. I may have overpriced my Celerity:+Stealth (35) blueside. It's just under 80 million.
-
I don't play my 50's much, and that build doesn't get where it's going until level 45 at the earliest.
So if you're me, that's not really the main attraction to the build. Most people aren't me, in my experience. -
Quote:Actually, you brought up TF in your very first post and repeatedly referred to it throughout the thread.[...]I only brought up TF since the question of secondary effects came in. Going onto other powers though, the -10% recharge is not why anyone uses ice sword. Or at least, I wouldn't expect it to be, since it is very minor. [...]
Leading me to think that your original query is perhaps somewhat ingenuous. -
Adding a second accuracy gives 95/89.775 or 6% more damage.
Adding a second damage gives 166.66/133.33 or 25% more damage on average.
(For people who SLOTTED a second damage and want to slot a third, that's 195/166.66 or 20% more damage.)
I mean, we're kind of in the position of two atheists arguing about how many angels can dance on the point of the pin, because starting with 1 acc/2 endred/1 damage isn't something either of us believes in, but I think the math is on my side, on average.
Some people hate missing enough to make significant sacrifices to the gods of accuracy. But none of them are willing to make the Cafepress "Fulmens' Acc Weenie Club" t-shirt. And that annoys me. -
Quote:I was thinking of taking you OFF ignore. But, hey, it turns out you haven't changed much. Good life to you.
4) And, Fulmens, i really don't care if you put me on iggy. It doesn't make my day one way or the other. But thanks for pointing that out. Maybe someone else will follow suit. Please, feel free to iggy me for not agreeing with you. Having ones own opinion is rare these days, i know. Esp, in the market forums where "its all me" or "how much can i make"... Have a good life, sir. -
Quote:Pretty much this.
(Bone Smasher and Energy punch do a total of 253.6 in 2.33 seconds of activation with a 30% chance of a mag 2 stun and a 60% chance of a mag 3 stun)
On a fire/elec or fire/en I can hit BU, Aim, and come close to eliminating a boss before they wear off. -
So why is it that [unnamed people] do [things I disagree with]?
