It's intended to prohibit automatic gold farmer bots and such.

If I might ask, what are you slotting in stamina other than endurance modification enhancements?

I can't think of a reason for putting more than 4 slots in there, and that 4th is stretching it. Even with IOs.

Mmm...excellent. I can't wait to see this in colors. Wassy outlined the proposed composition for me and it looked cool even when all it was was scribbles.

And yeah If you look at all the pieces of Frost that I have in order, It's an extremely interesting look at how she's improved over the years.

I've got a bunch of Wassy firsts come to think of it... Her first CoH character she drew was Frost, her first new comic-y style piece, one of her first digita w/ full background pieces...her first copic marker piece. Even have a Chibi Frost!

Hmm, actually come to think of it, I'm not sure how well Elements interacts with a tablet. You should definitely check out a demo to see if it'll work out. I just thought I'd suggest it for consideration.

It is aimed at photo manipulation but a lot of the basic drawing tools are still in there.

Another option for a cheaper graphics package is Corel's PaintShop Pro. But that's also aimed at photos these days too.

Basically you've got Photoshop/Painter in the multi hundred dollar range and anything below that is aimed more towards photoediting but still might do in a pinch.

The GIMP is free, powerful but suffers from a UI that's confusing at best. Can't hurt to give it a try though, being all free.

EDIT: I'll have to bow out on specifics though as I don't really use this stuff from a "digital artist" point of view. Just wanted to toss some names into the ring for consideration.

The GIMP is functional but...the interface is confusing as all hell.

You might want to grab a demo of Photoshop Elements to see if that'll do what your son needs.

It doesn't have the really advanced photoshop-y stuff (biggest omissions are probably going to be layer masks, the pen tool and some of the more advanced adjustment layers) but if he's just getting his feet wet, it's a good (cheaper) option.

Basically, if it's a resolution you can select through windows, you run it in game.

You better have a pretty darn beefy video card to run at 1920x1080 though.

It's a program that lets you adjust CoH settings without starting the game. The resolution settings are in the "Display" section. Uncheck full screen and set the display res to something that'll fit on your screen. You can resize from there.

EDIT: Just a note that I would probably not modify any of the other graphics settings. The program pre-dates ultra mode and I'm unsure how it interacts. Stuff on the display tab works great though.

I was trying to channel an old school retro feeling kind of poster. Which I stuck on a (virtual) wall just for presentation's sake and roughed up a bit to make it look like it had been there for quite a while.

I'm gradually getting used to them. I didn't think there was anything wrong with the old layout, but I've seen worse redesigns. It's just all...different now.

I had to toss my original idea and now I'm scrambling to come up with something...

I have a lot of ideas for the sins or virtues themselves, but nothing that really fits in with the game or that would meet the chick requirement.
