Quote:Well, you CAN put a jet engine in a school bus... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/...67mph-bus.htmlIt'd be like putting a Porsche engine in a Yugo. Try accelerating that baby and the whole vehicle's going to tear itself apart.
Sorry, couldn't resist. -
It's there in the file. A good image editor can pull it out for you. Don't think windows XP understands it though. A program like IrfanView would work perfectly.

Duo for that TF is very impressive. I've seen that AV take down entire teams no problem. Rough encounter for sure.

Quote:In general, the rule for this sort of thing is if you have a bunch of powers that all do the same thing, the one in the primary powerset will be the most effective, followed by the secondary powerset and lastly the pool powers. This should be the same information found in game. Taunt is better than Provoke in every way. Also, both powers have a maximum target cap of 5.
Case in point, Quick Recovery in the regen secondary powerset is more effective than Stamina.
You're almost always going to want to go to your primary/secondary rather than the pools if they offer something that duplicates a pool power. -
Just another friendly reminder that we cannot discuss prices on this forum. You should take it to PM or to dA or something.

And as the owner of Frost I would also wholeheartedly approve of such an endeavor.

Couple problems with your idea:
First, users like us can't post HTML to the forums.
Second, you're going waaaaay past what straight HTML lets you do. You'll need some kind of server side scripting language interaction and ideally some kind of database to handle this and you can't do that on the forums.
Same with the submit button/private message thing.
You could create such a system on an external website but that's probably not an ideal solution since it would involve getting hosting and all that, which has charges attached to it. -
The other member of the team was me. I was playing Weaver Rusalka. Good memory
I'm missing from the screenshot but my trusty Dark Servant is there representing!
(Also, ugh on that mission. Should be illegal to have Oranbega maps that long...) -

Quote:Yeah. This.I'll bet you that Bayani knows the guy a lot better than you do. Perhaps the situation is different than you think.
Also, camegen:

My apologies...missed a vote. Updating the graph now.

Quote:Yeah, The ones that are there are pretty icky. It's very much a shame. I'll have to see if I can whip up something in game that's the same thing in spirit, although I don't even know if I can do that.Mmmm... shame that Rogue Frost can't be represented in such a way in-game. The couple fur-lined costume pieces are just... blegh.
Quote:I do like how my version turned out, though. I have to draw at least one scene with her shoes visible. -

Well for the record, I'm a guy in case that huggle was directed at me personally.
And secondly...Mind control is a beautiful thing. A very beautiful thing... -
I am unsure if we can help you with this problem here as in general, client modifications are a no-no kind of subject.
There is a framework by which you can place files in a certain directory structure and the game will use them instead of it's internal copies of said files, but there's a couple issues with that. The first being I'm not even sure if a transparency effect is controlled by the game data files of if it's a function of the game graphics engine. If it's the engine, you'd be unable to do anything about it.
And if it is a part of the game data files somewhere, we can't really talk about where it is here because going through the pigg files is a taboo subject. -
Well...Bayani is a collector, so all of these are drawn by other artists. He's very good at picking out artists to match the pieces he wants though!

I just came across the post where you said you were doing this in the CoH dA group earlier today and wondered how it was coming.
Now I know
Very cool! -
Yeah, I remember when it was a challenge too. And it was fun. I used to run respects just for the heck of it because I really liked running the reactor. Now it's all boring.
I can understand making it a little easier but it's pretty much a joke now. -
1. Shia
2. Lousy Day
3. JohnnyKat -
Yeah. That's the part that seems misguided.

I think it's somewhat misguidied as the two are pretty separate...
Can't see it being a gigantically horrible thing though.
