My name is LiquidX. An All LiquidX format would be nothing but articles about me.

Nah, it means you're writing the entire next issue. Get cracking -
You can look at that from the flip side though. By focusing on the "forum celebrities", you give the impression that there's a certain "in" crowd and if you're not in that crowd, nobody cares about you. Thus pushing people away because they don't feel their opinion matters.
-
Web browsers don't do justified text well...at all...
-
Yeah...well...um...the current version that's being shot out when you get the printer friendly version from the e-mail address contains a bunch of garbage characters. It's still readable, but it's not the "final" version.
Mantid seems to have taken off for the day, so it's probably not going to get fixed for a few.
Just so you guys know we're aware that the e-mailed version isn't quite final. -
They have an entire zone that nobody uses...ever. Unless they're doing a high level hero respec.
It seems to be worth it to upgrade the zones nobody really uses and make them cooler, thereby allowing more choices. And the Rikti are fairly central to the games storyline...a lot of players are happy (myself included) that they're actually taking center stage for a while. -
We are working on correcting our proofreading problem
Last week was the first time we had an organized proofreading process (IIRC) and hopefully we'll be getting better at it in the next couple of weeks.
We're kinda figuring this out as we go along, as far as what procedures for getting the issue out work best and such. -
Ah...in that case, that guide probably wouldn't help you much
-
The Ultimate Fire Control Guide, written for I6 should still be reasonably accurate considering there haven't been any really big changes in either powerset since.
-
You're limited to 4 pools max, but within those 4 pools you can takes as many powers as you have room for.
In other words, you can have 1 primary powerset, 1 secondary powerset, 4 power pool sets and 1 epic/patron powerset (after level 41, depending on if you're hero or villain), but within those sets you can take whatever powers you want. -
The thing about an online journal is that you don't really need to have space limitations.
Well, as long as whatever is being written is actually interesting, of course. -
Generally what you would do is take your guide and post it in this section here. Posts in this forum don't get automatically deleted after a set period of inactivity, so you don't have to worry about your guide being removed in a forum purge.
Second, you'd take a link to your guide and go over to the Corrupter forums. There should be a sticky post over there for corrupter guides. Reply to that thread with a link to your guide in this forum and the next time the guide to guides is updated, your guide will be included in the list. -
Unless otherwise stated (like in the Ask the Entities column) you should assume that everything in the City Scoop is player generated. That is, after all, the point

Wow! I am amazed not only by how cool this is, but by how quickly it was done!
EDITED: Now if only I could print it and read it on the bus on the way home! What's up with that?

Your guide is featured as well -
I agree, nice overview of the system for those who are alergic to math
I've seen too many people turned away because they get into a guide with a bunch of numbers and come away thinking the system is more complicated than it really has to be. -
What do you mean, "Now they are shutting out those players."?
It's been like this forever. -
I'm not touching IOs if/when I update my Ice control guide. I just don't have the head to figure out the math to uberize something

Tell Wassy she rocks

I keep telling her she rocks, but getting her to believe me is a whole other thing... -

Whoa, that is amazing Frost. =O_O=
[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah right...wish I could draw like that -
Hey all...my friend Wassy (you may or may not remember her, she used to post around this particular forum semi-regularly back 6-7 months ago or so) just delivered this wonderful piece of artwork to my doorstep yesterday of my main, Frost Magus.
Flowy Frost Wheee!! (Slightly Smaller Version for those without freaking huge monitors)
She wanted me to post it over in here since her account is currently deactivated, but I was told to relay that she would be reading the feedback and such.
I, obviously, really like it -
If by "easy money" you mean people PMing you with questions and "women" you mean, keeping your guide updated as the game changes...
Yes -
You made me go check the jack endurance thing to make sure I was remembering right.
I held a large group of stuff, summoned jack, targeted him and watched his end bar. It never moved from full.
I'm thinking you're remembering mastermind pets which do actually use endurance -
[ QUOTE ]
End reducers in Pets reduce the pet's end use, not the summoners.
[/ QUOTE ]
You sure you're not thinking of mastermind pets there?
Henchmen and controller/dominator pets work differently as far as enhancements. For example, you can slot dominator pets for recharge and they reduce the amount of time the actually summon power takes to recharge, not the recharge of the pet's powers. They removed the ability to slot recharge in mastermind pets because recharge enhancements reduced the recharge time of all of the pet's powers.
All of the mastermind enhancements pass through to the pets. It doesn't work that way for doms
And again, I'm not even sure if controller/dominator pets actually use endurance for anything. I've never seen the bar go below full. -

I like to add an end reducer, too, so Jack Doesnt run himself dry with his attack chain.
[/ QUOTE ]
As far as I know, an end redux in Jack will not affect Jack's end, only how much end he costs you when you summon him.
[/ QUOTE ]
In addition, I've never actually seen jack's end bar drop down below full unless he's been hit with an end drain attack. I'm fairly certain his powers use little to no endurance. -
Hey guys, if you want to look up CityBinder, there's a more up-to-date version of this bind rolled into there.

2. I didn't say frost was *obviously* annoyed. The ways of Frost are subtle.
[/ QUOTE ]
Oh they are?
I'm not annoyed.
There...can't get any less subtle than thatI am, however..annoyed that you think I was annoyed. Or would that just be annoying? Hmm...
