I'd LOVE to be a QA tester for this game.
[/ QUOTE ]
People always say they'd love to be a QA tester, but I'm not sure people realize that it's basically playing very specific parts of a game over and over and over and over again until your eyeballs bleed, fall out and you never, ever want to play the game again. -
I've been gaming with a wireless mouse for years now. Just make sure you keep the batteries charged and you'll be good. Most modern cordless mice (and 100% of the ones worth mentioning) have battery life indicators on them for just this very circumstance.
As far as a recommendation goes, I don't use a wireless keyboard, but I'm quite fond of my logitech mice. Especially my MX and VX revolution's (not the VX Nano, the normal VX). Can't go wrong with either of those. I'd stay away from the logitech G series that they aim at gamers...they're good but not great....
The MX1100 is also something to check out as the successor to the very awesome MX1000 -

I'd also agree with Lemur that a high turnover broadcast recruiting strategy may be a big part of your woes. If you recruit in that way, you're going to get a lot of people that join and then quit, or join and then never log in again.

This.
You'll get a lot of members by broadcasting in zones, but most of them, frankly are going to suck. You're better of recruiting by teaming with people and approaching folks who don't have an SG that are solid, interesting players. Recruiting via the forum also has a higher chance of getting somebody who's willing to stick around.
Broadcast recruiting is probably the worst way to get members and you get a HUGE turnover rate.
Finding quality members should be your priority. 1 quality member is worth 10 broadcast recruits.
Once you get quality members, the activity can work itself out as they enjoy playing with other people in the group. But you need to try to get people who are going to stick around and not use your SG as an alt dumping ground. If new people are constantly coming in and leaving it's hard to build that sense of family that fosters a state of activity. -
Yeah...try hooking directly into your sisters router.
I'm really curious as to why you have 2 routers in this sort of setup. -
Yeah, I was trying to find where I read the 50 employees thing, but I can't find it...I seem to recall it being a forum post somewhere...but ah well. Or maybe it was a massively.com interview.

did anyone around have contageous confusion slotted?
[/ QUOTE ]
For the record, I was solo with my scrapper when it happened to me.
And she doesn't con orange like enemy NPC enemy orange, she cons orange like another player does in PvP -
Starting to sound like we've got a widespread bug on our hands at this point...
-
The really weird part about this is when she cons orange to you, she still buffs you while she's beating you down.
This happened to me the other day as well. -
It's basically 1 purchase per 24 hours. If you try again tomorrow I think it should work. You probably were still within that 24 hour window when you tried today.
Heck, it'd probably work if you tried again later today. -
The 6600 is getting a little long in the tooth as far as graphics cards go.
That seems to be the weak link here. -
I would be VERY surprised if City of Heroes ever became a movie. Even with the rights and such out there.

The forum has never been set up for feeds. The RSS Icon used to link to the RSS for the main site news, but since the redesign that moved around and nobody bothered to change the link
Red Tomax provides a RSS feed for the dev digest

Check on the right hand side, should be the last one of the boxes over there. -
I concur with the highlights and color usage assesment. The little background is just enough to make her pop out and the coloring style plus the inking details makes her look very comic-booky.
Highlights on the wings and the hair are my favorite parts. And the white details on her er...wrist...thingys (dunno what they're officially called). You can't really see those that well in the scan though, unfortunately. -
it was basically a VNC program.
You should check your phone's archetcutre for a VNC client and then install a VNC server on your desktop. You then connect over a network. It works...sort of. Not actual gameplay, but like you said, doing wentworths and the costume creator might work ok.
Your smart phone will probably need to have wifi in order for this to work well.
I too, remember the thread. It's probably gotten lost due to forum purges. -
Continued thumbs up on this piece. I'm really, really impressed with the coloring on the candles. Especially knowing it's done totally in Illustrator.
Really really cool. You certaily have come quite a ways with illustrator. -
Really really like how the new inking style and coloring tweaks came together in the finished piece. Very nice work. This piece and the individual characters are some of the best work you've done I think.
-
Tacky_Tricky is my vote. I want to see that piece totally colored!
-
Wheeee!
Yeah, she asked me earlier if I wanted to be able to give Frost this costume in game. Yes please! -

I love your work, Tacky_Tricky....

Seconded. I really hope you finish that piece off even if it's after the deadline. It's reallllly nice. -
I know I mentioned this to you earlier, but I really like her. I especially like the way you did the inking/coloring in the belt/pants area.
It looks extremely comic-booky. Really nice job. -
I can say I'm a NASA Astronaut and I've been up to the international space station, therefore I am qualified to comment on all maters space and physics related. Or that I'm a unicorn breeder and I have an entire field full of unicorns back behind my house.
Just because you say it, doesn't mean it's true. Especially the way you're acting. And the fact that after 2 months on the forums and hundreds of posts in the PvP and open beta sections of the forum, you suddenly decide that you're an art critic.
If you are who you say you are and want people to respect you (or at least tolerate you at this rate), you better have some proof. Especially if you're touting yourself as the best professional artist drawer on the forum.
But I think we're all just wasting our time here. -

Yeah...what makes this whole thing funnier to me is Doug is a real professional artist type person who, I'm willing to bet, knows more about the industry than our "art drawer" here. -
Oooooh. A long time coming but very much worth the wait.
-
I am REALLY liking the way you're inking these pieces. And I'm looking forward to seeing how the colors look with the additional line shading in the inks.
Furthermore, demon chickies are hot. -
Going to have to go with Alex.
Toxic_Shia was a close second for me though. I loved the zombie chasing a brain in a jar image.
