If I recall correctly, she even says when you rescue her that you're going to be doing all the work and she's going to just stand back and watch. Or something to that effect.

If you think this is bad, imagine what it was like when the servers went down nearly every weekday.

Quote:There's also a program called HeroStats that's basically a program that'll run in the background and read information from the game to create stats and logs. It also includes an overlay that'll keep track of buff timers and all that good stuff. It doesn't hook into the game itself (and therefore isn't running against the EULA here) but it's handy. Requires a bit of a beefy computer to run smoothly with the game though.Another thing that I was thinking was is there any add ons for COH like through curse.com or anything like that? I really don't have any probs with the normal UI but I really like to customize whenever I have the chance too and if it makes the game more playable friendly then I am defiantly down for that.

All of your questions pretty much have one answer:
The development team is not made up of an infinite number of people. They'd LOVE to add the kind of customizing that you're suggesting but they have a limited pool of resources. So they try to make things that cover what a majority of people want.
There's an infinite number of ways to punch people or swing a sword. What's in the game is a representative subset which covers 90% of cases. You're supposed to pick something that's close enough and imagine any differences you might have. Same with bases. There's millions of different ways to design a chair but the options available are close enough to what most players are looking for to work 90% of the time. -
It should be mentioned (in all fairness) that the in-mission choices and such are a fairly new innovation and currently you're going to find most of them in praetoria (the going rogue content). Once you're popped out into either Paragon City or the Rogue Isles at level 20, right now they become a lot more rare.
They're slowly making their way into the rest of the game though as old missions are updated and new content is added which makes uses of the new technology.
But, I'll have to echo what the others have said. This MMO is probably the most casual friendly MMO out there. It's also very Solo-player friendly for the most part if that's your thing. 90% of the content is doable without a team. Maybe a little more or less depending on what Archetype you've chosen. -
The person hosting the skype call should be the guy with the beefiest computer. Hosting is what kills the CPU. My little laptop here was about to explode when I had 4-5 people on a skype call recently.

Your best best is to PM one of the Customer service reps. Like Avatea. TheOcho is more forum moderation but he might be able to bring it to somebody's attention.
Sometimes the server status page gets stuck and somebody needs to give it a kick. -
Warning you right now, there's already a forum member who has the name "Clutch". So you're either keeping the _NA or looking for alternative names.

Look, I don't need a forum ban today so I'm going to probably stay out of this after this post because there's about 20 things I've typed out and since deleted that I'd just love to say to you.
But it's quite obvious to anybody with a shred common sense that you (Caemgen) don't like Bayani or Wassy. And therefore, you've decided to ignore everything they've said and roll on in here with your proclamation (which as Wassy pointed out runs totally counter to your attitude earlier) on what has to be done.
It's already been decided, and all but agreed upon by everybody involved. A group of people which does not include you (or to be fair, me. But I don't have any aversion to actually reading what's going on in the thread) despite your delusions of self importance.
So yes. My mileage does vary. Because I chose not to ignore what's going on. And keep your blessing. What the heck does that have to do with anything anyway? -
-
Er...what? Caemgen, this isn't your contest. Wassy already endorsed Bayani's idea, Shia is on board, CR looks to be on board (awaiting an official confirmation from him, but he sounded interested in one of his earlier posts, provided Shia was in)
The only one who seems to think there's any controversy here is YOU. Read the freaking thread. -

Quote:Sounds pretty fair to me. It would be a real shame to see this whole thing end with this month's debacle.Well, I'd hate to see the contest end without a clear winner and since I do technically work for Wassy, I can assist with the final contest. There isn't much to admin a contest between two entrants.
So here's my offer...I'll put up a $50 cash prize to see the September Ribbons Battle take place between Shia and CR. The prize money will only be awarded if both Shia and Christopher Robin submit work in line with the theme. This means that if both Shia or CR agree to battle it out, but back out or fail to submit a qualifying submission by the agreed to deadline, no cash prize will be awarded and the remaining entrant will be declared undisputed 2010 FArt Competition winner. -
You're probably going to want to check out the 2 arcs added for heroes in Issue 17 (probably need to flashback both of these at level 50): Field Agent Keith Nance's Twisted Reflection arc (level 20-29) and Special Agent Jenni Adair's Looking Through The Glass arc (also level 20-29).
Not sure if it relates exactly to the double found in the morality mission (haven't run that one myself) but you will find the contents very interesting. -
This is a great situation for the devs...because when they DO nerf accuracy, nobody is going to believe it

I think this fits into "annoying" rather than "VERY BAD!"
But yes, the information support gives is correct. What they should fix is the misleading "Epic AT Unlocked!" message you get when you hit 20 in Praetoria.
And if they were to unlock something, what would they unlock? they hit 20 prior to being able to chose a side. They'd either have to add programming to allow them to chose which they get, add programming to delay the choice until they pick which side they want to go to or up the level requirement for epic ATs to say...25 or so. -
Quote:Way too many people have disqualified themselves this year for absolutely no good reason. It's bordering on ridiculous at this point (if it has not already gotten there). Not speaking of the people who had to drop out for other reasons. Just people who posted legit entries and then DQ-ed themselves even though their entry was perfectly fine.Bah, the majority of this contest is just showing up and posting something, and it's good practice to have a deadline. Stick around and see what happens. :P
Stop doing it! -
Give up the travel power suppression thing man. It's not going away now. Seriously.

Think it has to be for double facepalm.

At the moment, if it's not a primary or secondary power, then you're not going to be able to customize it.
And even some primary and secondary powers aren't customizable either. -
