Is that your house?
Not sure if I've ever seen a rack mounted server in a home computer room environment before. -
Vista isn't officially supported still...but the game works fine on it.
-
Aw man! I think I was out sick that day in math class...
I miss all the good stuff. -
Ooooooohhhh! Really love how they came out. Especially how the lighting highlights came out. Really adds a lot to the piece, especially in Frost's hair (the one wearing white). Awesome outfits, great setting...
And I definitely share in your interpretation of the piece...
I love it -
Regeneration is hit points, recovery is endurance. So you had it right.

Really like the composition of this one. It has a very natural flow to it. And I love the glow around the characters/the earth.
Excellent piece. -

I have a question. What is the point of having more than one monitor? Seems to be a common theme here. What do you use it for?
[/ QUOTE ]
EVERYTHING.
At work I keep my e-mail up on the second monitor, or use it for stashing things that i want to reference easy, like some data that I'm using to compare or notes on what I'm supposed to be doing.
Kicking off something that'll take a while and shoving it over to the second monitor to continue working on the primary display.
I would imagine in an artistic type setting, a second monitor would be useful for having references up for easy access while doing you're drawing stuff on the main display.
Basically, it's one of those things you will absolutely find a use for if you have it available to you. -

...strange, I just bought most of the gray scale copics from 10% up to 90% for less than $12.00 plus the blend copic that basically does nothing more than let me stretch a shade to white than really blend anything -_-; Spent like $1.80 a pen for six. Regular price here is ~$4.00 for generics and ~$5.00 for anything namebrand copic. But $10? o_O Wow. And like, a full 72ish Set is only like $80 Maybe that just doesn't seem expensive to me...

Not that I'm an expert on such things, but...in the US at least, a set of 72 (copics) goes for something like $300.
Unless those sets were being sold by a guy in a white van or something. -
Last time I checked everything Performance Shifter +End was going for several million.
-
Unfortunately, NCSoft hasn't broken out their games by subscribers in their quarterly reports in quite some time...so we don't really have any recent data about how many people we have playing.
-
As far as I'm aware there's no such thing as a driver update for a graphics card in OS X beyond what apple includes in it's software updates.
-
I share the same feeling as Tekka. This is probably not a good idea.
Running it off a flash drive/external hard drive will probably be faster than running it off a compressed drive. Or if you can cut down on the amount of installed games you have. -
My vote this round goes to Tacky_Tricky...with Juggertha's piece a close second. Alex and Lousy Day were also in the running.
Very hard to chose this month! -
Yeah. ED was real bad. Much worse than this. There was pretty much a riot on the forums over how that was handled.
The fact they snuck it into a CoV build with people under NDA without even hinting that something like that was going to happen to the playerbase at large was...bad.
There was a LARGE number of players who were willing to risk being banned from the beta for violating NDA posting about it on the open forums in an attempt to prevent the playerbase as a whole from getting blindsided. -

This site is great for just those types of questions. MMO Charts

Unfortunately, this website hasn't been updated in over a year -
Steel Canyon, Founders Falls and Independence port for heroes.
They're labeled on the map now too. It's the store that's in the north west corner of steel. -
Well...I searched my availible online screenshots and the only thing I was able to find was http://x-syndicate.com/images/gallery/369.jpg
Which, I guess may be a decent shot of the pattern on the floor.
Ah well...I tried. -
Looks like they include the 64 bit driver disc with the mac pro, but I'm unsure if it's included with the iMac.
http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/ap...owsvista64.html <-- that might help, but I'm not entirely sure as my Macbook pro is one of the older core duo models and isn't 64-bit compatible.
EDIT: did some more digging. Looks like 64-bit vista isn't officially supported on iMacs, but I can't see anything that would stop it from working anyway. Might want to have a 32 bit copy to fall back on if that's the case. -
Yeah, they changed it with the latest round of hardware updates. The keyboard with the number pad is a free upgrade, but you need to make sure to select it when you go through the order process.
-
If you're buying an iMac you'll have a good keyboard and a multi button mouse by default. Some people don't like the feel of the mighty mouse and it's not really designed with windows or games in mind...I use a Logitech mouse personally.
You should make sure that you're getting the keyboard with the number pad though. Apple just switched so that their keyboards come sans number pad unless you switch it. You can do it online but I'm not sure how it works if you're doing it in the store.
I really like the feel of the apple keyboard and it works in windows (the apple key turns into a windows key). Only downside is that the keys are set up like: Ctrl/Alt/Apple Key instead of ctrl/windows key/alt like most windows keyboards. Everything works, you just need to reprogram the muscle memory a bit. -
They keep notes on this stuff and...I would imagine if you get genericed and rename your character back to the name it was generic-ed for...they're probably not going to be so happy with you.

The majority so far say remove it, "But I'll still play in it."

That's been my experience. Making it optional makes people less resentful of it and more likely to actually do it than being forced to. Also gives them the option of not doing it if they need inf (although it's not as bad of a drain on inf as it used to be honestly) -
CoH is around 2-3GB these days. I have a...er...very strong feeling that champions will be about the same. DC Universe will probably be in that frame as well.
Add a couple gig for windows, and I'd say minimum of about 15GB, probably be more comfortable with 20. I do 15 on mine since it's a macbook pro and the hard drive is a bit smaller. -
Another option is the devs might not want people using it as a way to quickly travel between zones until the later half of the game.
